Description of Work: Installed 2 ceiling fans

Description of Work: Replaced a faulty and broken exterior electrical outlet. Replaced a weak circuit breaker in an attempt to cure a overload problem. Doug returned approx. 1 week later and installed a dedicated circuit breaker and outlet that appears to have cured the problem. We paid him an additional $100 and are very pleased with his work.

Description of Work: I called to set up an appt. He called back and just talked with me. Gave me some pointers and redirected me because it wasn't an electrician I needed but a plummer. I like that he got the details and redirected me vs taking my money and then coming and saying he tried but I need to call in someone else. My problem, my hot tub had a short in it. For his honesty and time I give Del Electric 5 stars.

Description of Work: Mr Lilley checked out my hot water heater which was not heating. Found a tripped reset button. After reset functioned properly for a day or so, then retripped. Needs further evaluation. Also changed an electric receptacle.

Description of Work: Very happy with Doug's work! He has been at our house twice to install ceiling fans and light fixtures. Quick response to my initial call and was able to come to our house in a timely manner as well. Will use again for future electrical needs!

Description of Work: Due to an early morning emergency with our power panel which almost resulted in the home burning down. we called Del Electric to 1. get an estimate and 2. arrange the repairs for as soon as possible. I considered this to present the criteria of an emergency and that it should warrant at least a return phone call. Needless to say, my call was not returned until the end of the day and it was nothing more than an excuse as to why they didn't call, " they didn't realize the ringer had been turned off". Seems to me if you have an "A" rated business listed here, you would have a dedicated phone number and a dedicated person to manage incoming calls. With the urgency of our problem, we have called 2 other businesses and had the repairs done within 24 hours.

Description of Work: DEL Electric was contacted regarding installing recessed lighting and a ceiling fan in the room over the garage, recessed lighting in the utility room, replacing other receptacles and dimmers, and removing a fluorescent light fixture and replacing it with a contemporary light fixture in the family room bar. Doug, the owner, was very prompt in coming to give me the estimate and was able to schedule the work in a reasonable time period. He was most pleasant and explained everything in detail. He arrived to do the work on time and it took a period of two full days which he had said it would. Installing the fan in the ceiling of the room over the garage was not an easy task as it entailed his having to crawl through the the very small attic area to do the job. Doug is a most pleasant young man and enjoyable to have as a workman in the home. I highly recommend his company.
