The packing was scheduled for two days. We have a house and a storage facility. I was organized and ready for the packers, hoping for things to run smoothly and efficiently. The first day was fine, the two packers were pleasant, professional, and careful. They worked from 9-4, and estimated the next day the house would be done by noon, then to the storage facility. The following day five packers came, but two left and took their truck. My house was finished before noon, but the truck had not returned. Three hours later the packers with the truck called and said they were packing a house in Virginia Beach and would be two more hours. When I called the company, they did not apologize at all. They did agree to send someone to pick up the stranded packers. The storage facility did not get packed, and the company nonchalantly said it would be packed Monday morning when the truck came to load. They wasted my time and that of three of their employees as they sat in my house for almost five hours. I would have liked an apology.

It took three days to pack and load my belongings. The first two days were not productive as two gals showed up at 2 p.m to begin the packing process and only stayed a few hours. The third day, some men who were contracted by the company showed up at 2 p.m. While items still laid on my lawn and in my home, they simply quit working at 5 p.m. My wife contacted the company to explain the situation at hand. The company sent some more employees out the same night to complete the load by 8 p.m. The time frame from them leaving with the truck to reaching my new home was fairly reasonable timing. Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with the overall experience. I did not pay for the services as the Navy paid them for the move.
Description of Work: They packed and loaded my belongings in three days. They proceeded to move me from Indianapolis, Maryland to Norfolk, Virginia. They left my prior home on June 28th and unpacked my belongings on July 2nd. They were not careful when they were packing, loading, or unloading as they caused damage to my furniture, old home and new home. There were nicks and dings on furniture, the flooring and the walls. They did not use floor mats to protect my area either.
