The job went very well. Donald and his crew arrive promptly and finished the job over several days, only a little bit over the scheduled time. There was a problem with the paint in one of the rooms while still under warranty. Armando from CertaPro responded promptly and contacted Donald. It took a few tries, but after a few weeks Donald and his crew came to the house once again and repaired the problem. Both of these individuals were professional throughout; neither complained at all about coming twice. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great work all around. Terry was on the job daily by 0900 and pretty much did the whole job himself, less some of the cleaning. We were concerned about power washing around some areas of the house and Tim was happy to have thosesections done by hand. I can't say enough about the professionalism of the work done. Customer satisfaction is what drives Tim and his team. I give the CertaPro of Chesapeake my strongest recommendation.

The CertaPro team was waiting at my home before the scheduled time. They were organized and ready to work. They had all the proper equipment. They were very respectful of my home and cleaned up nicely. The owner is one of the honorable fellows you'll meet. That alone is giving this company a try. You won't be disappointed.

Job was completed right away and quickly which was crucial as we needed to move in and had a brief window to allow for a company to provide an estimate and complete the painting. Work was acceptable. Supervisor stated that they routinely patched textured walls but the work on this was poor. Required me to go behind them to ensure plates were removed, patchy work was fixed, and clean up was adequate. Found our front door open with no one home - one of the doors had not been adequately shut and locked and popped open. Signs were put in our yard without permission and we received a letter from our HOA about it.

We contacted Bob Preast, CertaPro via Angie's List. We contacted several other companies also but selected Certa Pro , first of all, because of Mr. Preast's professionalism and knowledge of the business. He thoroughly and clearly explained the process, the paints, the staffing, the timing etc. He was the last company we met with and we were impressed with his efficiency in providing a clear, itemized, well-written estimate. He also offered help in color selection and was easy to communicate with and available to answer our questions. When the painting began, there was always a supervisor around to monitor the work. The workers were friendly and hard working. There was a problem obtaining the paint they needed (Mostly our fault since we were late in making a decision, also due to the fact that it was a holiday weekend and Fall when demand was high ) but, this problem was invisible to us because behind the scenes, they went to stores all over Tidewater to find the paint. They finished the job in two days when we expected about three. The quality of the job is awesome. No mistakes in sight. A beautiful job. We are delighted. We will contact him in the future for additional paint jobs.

the main guy that came and seemed to be in charge was great - however he left for most of the day and came back at the end to paint the dark colored accent walls.he also did a great job of cleaning up the splatters of paint left from the existing color. the other two guys did most of the work; they did a good job but missed some small areas and hard to get places around door frames. i wish the main guy would have done the whole house.

At first we thought the work was good. However, we think they took short cuts. Some of the paint is peeling because their attention to detail was not what it should have been. Overall, the work it is not holding up.

Extremely impressed and satisfied. Painted entire house - 2 coats in 3 days. They were prompt every day, cleaned up every day after painting, courteous and professional. Left house on final day in exact condition as when they started - swept floors and everything! This was the easiest and best painting experience we have ever had. Thanks guys!

I made the appointment for the estimate and the rep arrived on time and was very thorough and I was told the job would take about three days. I made my decision a few days later and the appointment was set for eleven days later. The crew arrived on the appointed day on time and ready to work. When I got home that evening everything was completed with the exception of the dining room/kitchen because of the time needed for the wall repair. When I walked into the house I felt as if I was walking into a brand new home. It was beautiful and I was so pleased. The next two days were spent sanding the wall repair and completing the painting. The crew was professional and left my house in the same condition in which I left it -- only better. Somehow one of my switchplates was missing but a replacement was promised and even if I have to go pick one up myself -- seriously, it's a small price to pay.

They were awesome. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very friendly and professional. They were great and we would use them again in the future.

We were very happy with them. We would rate them high overall. Their quality of work was very nice.

My experience with them was not good. They were very sloppy. They painted the ceiling and I had paint all over my wood floors; little sprinkles, not a lot but like little tiny drops of blood. It’s not a big deal because it wipes up but it’s just the point. I had them come back. They were very messy. I had a lot of woodwork in my house that was not painted and that’s natural. There was tons of paint all over the woodwork and they did not clean that up. I have textured walls, so they needed to use a textured roller that is good for textured walls and there were places where the paint did not cover. They came back and they supposedly fixed it. I was using two different colors and they used the wrong colors to fix it. They were close but I was not very happy with them. They came back yesterday and fixed the mistakes that they made. This is the third time they have come back and yes they fixed everything but I am not happy with them. In terms of price, in retrospect, I could have paid somebody more not to have them come back a few times. I won’t call them back in the future.

They arrived on a Friday at 0800 and completed the job by 5 PM. The painter continuously worked until the job was done. Two coats were applied to the walls and one coat to trim. The cut in work was the best i've ever seen.

The crew showed up at 0730 on Sat and by 3 PM had the entire upstairs painted with two coats. They came back Sunday to do the trim and doors. The job was completed by 2 PM on Sun and what an outstanding job. I will definately use this company again.

I was very pleased with CertaPro. My home is older, and some rooms had to have the original wall paper removed. The crew performed all necessary prep work thoroughly and efficiently. Everyone was professional, courteous, and cleaned after themselves very well. Robert, the foreman, was incredibly helpful and competent. In fact, I was so pleased with their work in my home, I hired them to paint my mothers-in-law home a few weeks later.

The first crew CertaPro sent out was terrible. The quality of their work poor, and they stretched a two day job out over the course of a week. I contacted CertaPro’s management to let them I wasn’t happy, and they sent out a new crew to correct mistakes. The second crew that was sent was excellent. I really appreciate that they followed up with my complaint, and I’m happy with the final results of the second crew’s work. The grades on this report apply to the second crew.

Their work turned out really well, and they were very flexible regarding scheduling. Specifically, the crew who came out was wonderful. The team leader really took the time to make sure that I’d be happy with the color. He was very professional and accommodating. Overall, I think he really went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer.

They were great! In fact, every branch of CertaPro I’ve worked with has been great. The folks in Chesapeake were incredibly honest. They have a minimum fee of $300.00, and the gentleman who was sent to provide me with an estimate was straightforward and let me know that painting my ceiling would cost less than that. So, we decided to have my sunroom painted as well. This means that instead of charging me $300.00 to paint my ceiling, they took on additional work to give me full value for my money. I wouldn’t have known the difference, and I appreciated their integrity.
