Basic Termite and Pest Contral was hired by the previous owner of our house to eradicate live termites in the crawlspace and repair/replace extensive termite and moisture damaged wood, beams, and sub-flooring. This work was to be completed before our closing date when we bought the house last year. The termite treatment was 100% effective, but a few months later we discovered there was damaged wood under there - rotting beams, mold, and fungus. This work was supposed to have been done by Basic Termite before our closing, but wasn't. We called the owner, Buddy, to let him know about it. He was unaware the job wasn't done up to his standards and he was glad we let him know so he could make it right. He willingly got a crew over to our house and had them replace every single beam and every piece of wood that was damaged under there. He made all the arrangements and completely took care of it for us. We are impressed with his integrity and consider him genuinely ethical. In the end, he went above and beyond for us. We are so very grateful that he came back, even months later, to make sure the job got done right. We wanted to recognize him and his company for doing that!
