Angi List and Home Advisor

I spoke with a few folks and had an overall bad experience. They promised a 100% happiness guarantee before money would be paid but that was not true. Upon contacting them when the service was not completed they did a half-hearted effort to make it right. The company they sent essentially stole from me. This review process does not allow for choosing the correct category for services applied.

Angi list and hoe advisor as a whole are the worst organizations to attempt to get anything done. the first attempt you attempted to gouge me four 4 extra hours of work. The second attempt you attempted to gouge me for 3 people to do the work. The 3rd attempt you attempted to gouge for more than 3 people to complete the task. Then you send out (1) person to complete the job after you send a text stateing the service pro had last minute changes and you rescehdued for May 28th at 7:30pm for a 5 hour job. With the should have known knowledge that Chesapeake has a noise ordinance that goes into affect at 10:00 pm. Then I cancel the service and the membership altogether and service call altogether. This followed up by a request from your organization for how the service went and did the service pro take care of your need. Only to follow up with another phone call to state that the service was cancelled. Also to ensure the membership was cancelled. To the effect of 'Yes" it has been cancelled and the service pro was not cancelled. To which I stated that the service pro did not provide the service on the 28th of May and that i should not have a charge, but in fact a refund for the membership fee returned to my card. All of which I figured was pretty plain and simple English for the person on the other end to understand. But to my surprise I find that my account has been charged the $192 for the service on May 28th (which was not performed by the way, because the contract was cancelled) and the service membership is still as of now in affect at has not been refunded to me account.
