Great, very friendly and professional. Only worked on what was needed and made recommendations for later instead of trying to force them as necessary.

I purchased a discounted inspection coupon from Angie's List and scheduled a time for them to come. Actually I accidentally bought two tickets, which is important later. I contacted the company and scheduled to have a technician come out in a couple of days. The tech came out and seemed very knowledgeable. After inspecting my air handler he explained that the condenser coils had frozen (I looked myself and the coil was indeed a solid block of ice) and that he could do nothing until I thawed it out. He said that he would have to come back the next day and that there would be an additional fee for a return visit, though they did accept my second discount coupon in lieu of payment for the second visit, which was very cool of them. When he came back he was able to check the coolant levels and found them to be low. The coils in the air handler were rusted out and a small leak could have been the cause, but he couldn't tell me without a leak check that would have cost more. Mine was an older system that used a refrigerant that is not longer EPA approved, so refilling it would have cost an arm and a leg, anyway, so I decided to get a quote and replace the unit. I did get a second opinion and a quote from a competitor and their price was better, so I had a different company replace the failed unit. All-in-all, Air Handlers did treat me fairly and I would call them again if I needed to.

Company were very helpful. My only issue is that I never spoke to the technician who came back to replace the contact and clean the coils to see if that fixed the issues we had discussed the previous week. When I called the office back to pay I asked if I could speak with the technician to find out more information but office only wanted to take my payment and gave me a poor answer and told me to check with the tenant. I checked with the tenant and the repairman had never spoken with him. Therefore I rate the office personnel 2 stars. Still would love to know what the technician found and fixed. Since the Tenant is happy I rate the repairman 3 stars and if I get a call back with the findings I'd give the repair person 5 stars. Let's hope the Company reads this review and I hear back from the Company as to what the technician found and if what was done was just a temporary fix.

5 minute inspection and test. The tech told me the compressor was shorted to ground. Needed a whole new system. Sent a supervisor to confirm. Same 5 minutes, same answer. They never even noticed or checked- the cut-off breaker was totally fried. Sent a salesman. 1 hour pitch. Very expensive. Another company found the cut-off problem and traced it to wires not being tight in the main breaker panel. The unit still needs to be replaced, but I don't trust these guys since they missed the electrical problem that was the root of the unit failure.

I was pleased with the level of service and the promptness of the technician. He explained everything to me in detail, and took time to make sure i understood what was happening. I'll definitely use the service again.

I have used Air Handlers for my heating and cooling needs since the company was founded in the 80's. They are always professional, responsive, knowledgeable and take pride in their work. Last week my heat pump of 15 years broke down and it needed to be replaced. Based on my positive experiences working with Air Handlers in the past I decided to call them once again. They promptly sent a technician to my house, evaluated the problems with my old heat pump and gave me options as far as repair or replace. There was no pressure whatsoever. My wife and I decided that it was time to replace the old heat pump. We advised Air Handlers of our decision and they gave us and estimate for a new Carrier heat pump and the estimate was very reasonable. The installation crew of Drew, Kevin and Aaron did and outstanding job! I was extremely impressed by their knowledge and the pride that they took in their work, After they completed the job, they thoroughly explained how the new system worked and also walked me through the warranty procedure. I was pleasantly surprised that my new Carrier heat pump had a 10 year warranty! Thanks Air Handlers! Once again you did a great job!!!

I think the price was pretty standard. The quality was good. They left some dirt. The did the work good, installed it, and tested it.

Could not have gone better. Beginning with the estimate prepared by Josh, which was based on a discussion of our needs and expectations, and throughout the two-day installation, everything went smoothly. Every person associated with Air Handlers - including reception, Josh, and the installers, were courteous, friendly, informative, and a pleasure to work with. While in our home, the installers were careful of the property and considerate of my wife and I who work out of our home - they tried to keep the noise to a minimum and not hold loud conversations while we were engaged in business calls. Air Handlers' estimate was also lower than the two other companies that bid on the job.

Air Handlers Mechanical came on time and got right to work. They couldn't get everything done in one day but they promised we would have heat before they left the first day and we did. They had to come back to finish and worked around our schedule with no problems. We had heat for 5 days and then something went wrong. I called Lindsey and she had Brian out within about an hour. The blower had gone and without hesitation he got a new one the next day. Have had heat ever since. Everyone from the Tech's to the ladies in the office are very nice and they will work with you to help in any way they can. I thank everyone at Air Handlers Mechanical for everything they have done for me and my family.

They were very professional and courteous The men were clean and neat. Explained everything thoroughly before they began. Exceeded our expectations at every turn. Seamless install. The owner came by to check the install and to be sure we were 100% satisfied. Great company.

It worked out well. They were very timely and didn’t try to sale us anything that we kind of didn’t already know we needed. Just one guy came out. It took a little over an hour. They were very good at communicating. We received a phone call confirming, we received a call when he was on his way. He was actually here a couple of minutes early. So, the punctuality and the communication were the two big things.

Josh came out along with a bunch of other outfits to provide me with a free evaluation and quote. He offered me a couple choices on how to do my replacement system. The traditional ducted HVAC system which would include new duct work, new heat pump, and a new air handler. He also included the quote for the Mitsubishi Ductless system. He answered all of our questions, addressed our concerns, and provided a quote. We did some of the prep work ourselves (i.e. relocating the electrical line for the system, disconnecting the electrical to both the air handler and heat pump, and pouring the slab for the new heat pump at the location we wanted. All easy stuff. He also worked with us in doing a phased install so we wouldn't have to have him come back out as we remodeled rooms to disconnect the system let us do the work, then hook it all back up, which would cost of us additional money. He only charged us for the the parts of the system once they were installed. He really worked with us. These are full day installs, multi day for the initial to include the heat pump. His guys were here all..day..long. And part of the night. We were about to buy pizza a couple times for them since they would be here until 7 at night some days. That's crazy to me. They were like 10/11 hr days. We had a couple issues with the system once it was all in. A leaking drain line (came out within 2 hrs and fixed), the system shutting off randomly and kicking us error codes (not enough refrigerant in the system when they added an additional load as part of the phased install), and our biggest room which is about 1,000 sq/ft not quite cooling enough (replaced it with higher BTU capacity unit at no cost). They got hit on not strapping the refrigerant/electrical lines in the attic (came out and fixed the next day). I can't honestly imagine how they came out with profit on the cost of the install with labor and fixes of the small issues we've encountered. Josh has said "we'll make it right" a half dozen times concerning small fixes or addressing concerns on a non typical whole house ductless system install. It was exactly what we were looking for with the zoning option. The system has some quirks, but that's on Mitsubishi and not being able to centrally control the whole system. I can not speak highly enough of Josh, his install team, his trouble shooting team, or even his secretary. Just a fantastic service experience we had with them. I've already recommended them to the first person who says the words "My A/C...."

Service was fantastic. Explained everything we needed to know about the system, including some things we were worried about that were fine and pointing out a couple things that could become problems in the future. They didn't try to upsell, only provide the info needed. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

What I liked most was that the customer service representative recommended that I reach back out to the original HVAC installer to have it covered by the warranty. However, when I went back to them, they told me at first it was covered, and later told me it wasn't. With Air Handlers, the diagnostic and customer service here were excellent.

Where to begin with such a WONDERFUL experience. I choose 6 contractors off Angie’s List. With each one I explained 3 things that I was looking to change about my HVAC system (comfort in the summer, 2 rooms were always hotter or colder than the others and my old unit was noisy, you could hear the air flow) and ask for their suggestions. Three of the 6 gave me similar results! You need new duct work! I was expecting that since I knew my actic was unusually comfortable in the summer when it was over 100* outside and with the duct work hard and inflexible it was obvious it was old and deteriating. Second suggestion was a Variable Speed Unit for constant air flow and Humidity control. Ok so these things come with a price I was expecting that. Josh with Air Handlers was wonderful at explaining what we needed and gave us the why behind his suggestions (his words reflected 1 other contractor we had quoted with, narrowing down our choices). Where Josh stood out was he knew that the unit we really needed would require new duct work explaining that due to the dehumidifying function that the old duct work would sweat and eventually damage the Attic and Ceiling. He also stated “He would NOT install that unit unless we replaced the ducts”. INTEGRITY something as a salesperson myself I look for. He was willing to walk away if the job was not done right. I knew before they showed up that I would need new duct work so I had asked each contractor after they gave me their suggestions about replacing the duct work and the 3 that had not suggested new duct work were planning on putting in the same type unit and said that duct work was to costly (not their decision to make, besides they should of pointed out the consequences if I had not replaced it). After a lot of research online about the unit Josh had suggested “The Carrier Infinity” I realized that was due to my concern over comfort in the summer! Boy people are passionate about there HVAC systems. Done, I knew Air Handler’s was winning my business. I had no idea how easy this was going to be. Josh explained it could be a 3-5 day job with new duct work. Brian the installer lead was prompt and showed up exactly each day when he advised us he would and got right to work. They protected my property with flooring protection and cleaned up each day after themselves. If it weren’t for the 2 to 4 trucks outside nobody would have even noticed I was having work done. They are smaller company 2 installers and 2 technicians but they provided excellent service and were very prompt. I wish I would have gotten the names of the other 3 guys who were wonderful and took those extra steps to insure I was aware of what they were doing and showing us how the machine worked. They worked with us on a few extra changes mid-job with no complaints (I asked for risers to raise the outside unit and my husband wanted all new duct covers). If you need HVAC work and look for INTEGRITY, GREAT SERVICE and PROMPTNESS these are your guys (and the ladies in the office were wonderful as well). When friends and neighbors asked us who I suggest Air Handlers Mechanical Services, Inc. will be my suggestion. My neighbor also used them the next week and had duct worked replaced as well and she had nothing but positive comments about her experience. She had contacted them after I gave her their name from Angie’s List and was impressed with the time Bill had spent explaining things to her ( she commented that she had done 10 quotes with other companies and they by far stood out).

Great company - we had a unique situation with our tenants and everyone at the company was SO helpful, respectful, and went above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done!! I will always refer friends and family to this wonderful company!!

The job was done in 1 day but I've called them back twice. They are still working to fix the problem.

Kevin was very punctual. In fact, he arrived 15 minutes earlier than expected. He was very professional and all about the business. He was not very talkative but he was very thorough with any questions I asked him. He explained everything that was done in terms I could understand. The company was very responsive when I called. The only delay was that they did not have a unit in stock so I had to wait five days during the hottest days of the summer, no fault of theirs. They were referred to me and I will definitely refer them to others. Excellent service!

Great! Had an estimate one year ago. Decided to put it off- when I got a new estimate the price was virtually the same. Employees were actually early! The work was done on time- cleaned up after themselves, perfect!
