Solved a probelm that was not intially diagnosed, was not their problem but still repaired with no additional cost to me. John and Kevin are really good technicians. I want to recognize their their entire staff. All that I dealt with were helpful, courteous, professional. Kudos to John and Kevin.

+ -1 moreThey were amazing!! I was told by another provider that the part won't be available for 4-6 weeks. I called the Air Handlers because I wanted to get a second opinion, and I'm very happy I did! I got the appointment scheduled within a day, Josh (the tech) was on time and very professional. He found the same problem as the other provider, but he was also able to locate the part. Another tech (John) came back the same day and fixed my AC. I don't think I ever had such a great experience with any provider before. I will definitely use the Air Handlers in the future and make sure to recommend them to everybody.

They did get the system to pass inspection. They were very busy. I was happy with their service and I will be going back to them. They were open to discussing options and providing suggestions for the correct pricing.

+ -1 moreThe two technicians were on time. They put dirt cloths down to protect my carpet. They worked efficiently and politely. They finished the job in 5 hours. They made sure that any pilot lights that needed to be restarted were checked. They also had a supervising technician (the technician who suggested the new unit) come two times to check on any problems or needs of the installing technicians. Overall, I was quite pleased with the whole experience.
Description of Work: I have used this company for 5 years. I have always noted them to be reliable and trustworthy. This company's technicians have accurately diagnosed and fixed the problems the first time with my heating and cooling systems. This time, I had the technician look at one of my heating units in the attic. He stated that he could fix the problem for around $600. However, he pointed out that the unit was about 25 years old. He suggested purchasing a new unit since we probably only had a few more years left with this one. My husband and I had been thinking that this was going to come up soon, anyway. The technician gave us two quotes for two different Carrier units (which was the type of unit being replaced). My husband and I discussed that this unit was only ancillary to the main unit, so we decided to purchase the less expensive unit. We told the technician our logic. He then suggested going with a less expensive, contractor grade unit. We saved over $600 in choosing this route.

+ -1 moreAir Handlers had to of sent out the nicest guy. He was so nice and very professional. He did a very good job with the installation, and he had it installed in a very short time. I have yet to come across any problems with the unit at all. I cannot remember exactly what the price was. I do not think it was very expensive compared to some of the other companies they have around. I think it was reasonable. I know I would hire them again.
