Description of Work: 1930s antique end table needed restoration. Finished suffered from age and water damage. Sent pictures of the table and Bill sent a quote. After examining the piece, he determined that painting had been used and we decided to only refinish the piece without hurting the artwork. Results were great. I would recommend Ace Refinishing if you have an antique or fine furniture to restore. He' a true professional.

Description of Work: refinishing two bedside tables with drawers. these nightstands had finishes on them that were at least 50 years old and were badly chipped. Ace refinished the two nightstands with an identical drawer sample provided. The work was done exactly on time and at the quoted cost. I would recommend the business and would use them again

+ -1 moreThe table was in need of veneer repair and overall refinishing. Aces' quote for the repair work was well below other quotes we received. We decided to give them a try and we couldn't be happier. It's a table from the late 1800's to 1900 and it now looks brand new. He took the table and leaves completely apart, repaired and refinished from top to bottom. The table also came with a unit to hold the table leaves. They took the time to not only refinish the holder, but they also lined the slots with felt to ensure the leaves wouldn't get any wear or damage. Basically they went above and beyond our expectations.
Description of Work: Repaired and refinished antique dining table.

+ -1 moreAce had the dresser for approximately 3 weeks. Ace called on the 23 of February and said they were finished and would drop it of on the 24. They promptly arrive on the the 24 and brought the dresser into the house. When my wife and I saw the dresser we were so pleased the dresser looked like new. the owner pointed out the front of the draws and show us that the original veneer grain on the front of the draws were align perfectly something you could not see prior to the work. he had repaired the side and replaced the rear panel. you could not see any of the cracks in the veneer. he also said that the dresser this old typically had wheels on them so he installed wheels on the the unit which was great in our house as we have wood floors. he said the side of the unit had been damaged because the dresser was not meant to be puled across floors with out the wheels. my wife had thought that the dresser was a write off and would not be able to save it. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work that was done. we had Ace take the matching dresser with them to do the same thing to it. this second dresser was not as bad as the first dresser. I looked forward to seeing the second dresser when it gets back.
Description of Work: I had a antique dresser that was my wife's grandparents. The dresser spent about 5 years in the garage and 2 years in storage. in this time and it had started to decay. much of the one side from the bottom up to at least a third of the way was damages and pulled away from the main dresser. the veneer on the front of the draws was cracked and delaminating. the rear panels was also badly damaged. I had Ace pick up the dresser and take it back to their shop to try and repair and refinish the dresser.
