Of course we are never pleased to see a customer leave an unfavorable review but it is even more frustrating for us and other Angie's List members when there are limited details. This member purchased our Home Pest Advantage Plan for $99.00 on June 8, 2015 and requested a schedule date of June 11 in the morning. We responded that same day and scheduled his appointment for exactly the date and time he requested. We completed the inspection, graphed the structure, completed the exterior general pest treatment, de-webbed the exterior and applied a spider web repellent all as promised in the service. The member's home had standing water under it, evidence of frequent water intrusion into the crawl and high wood moisture content in the crawl. We explained that these conditions made his home more susceptible to not only termite attack but also wood destroying fungi growth and wood decay and offered him some solutions. He felt our prices were too high even after applying an additional 10% Angie's List member discount but then repeatedly asked our technician to refer him to someone else that would do the work at a lower price. Naturally, that is not the practice of our employees. We encourage our customers to get 2nd and even 3rd opinions but we do not have any one or another company that we work with or to whom we would refer our own customers. We can only assume that this member was not happy with our findings or our prices. We are sorry we were not able to help him beyond performing the services he ordered.
