I've used 1st Choice before for pest control and George does an excellent job of figuring out the problem, explaining it to me and taking care of it. Totally satisfied.

We have been using 1st Choice for 6 years for quarterly pest control service. They are awesome! George is great and always there when we need him. When we first moved in to our house we would have the occasional "water bug" sighting in our home. Since starting quarterly service, we have had 0 sighting in the last 4 years. They always note issues around the house (ants, etc.), are easy to schedule with and always do a great job. I would recommend them to anyone.

I bought my home recently and the previous owners left this company's business card. It seems that this is the company they relied on. At first my experience with this company was rocky, particularly with the appointment schedule, but the owner was able to correct it with good faith and the service turned out to be professional and thorough. I received an annual price quote for their services and it was very reasonable. I will use them again.

Never caught or got rid of anything, very disappointed with service I felt like I threw 300 Dollars away for nothing. Guy was nice enough, But their Techniques did not rid my Home of the problem.

George is awesome! Professional, courteous, and prompt. He patiently answers all my questions...and I ask a lot. He has been very thorough when inspecting and treating our home and yard for unwanted pests. I plan to continue service using the quarterly service 1st Choice Pest Control offers and highly recommend the company.

George was awesome - professional, knowledgeable and punctual. He spent a lengthy period of time (1 1/2-2 hours?) inspecting the property - crawled around the entire attic and crawl space, then offered his opinion on how to combat our rat problem. The previous pest control company basically wanted to use bait stations but offered no solution as to how to keep the rats from continuing to gain access to our attic. 1st Choice was able to get started promptly on the important part of the job (bait stations and traps) and completed the exclusions in a reasonable amount of time as well. George was also able to locate the exact entry point for the rats during the exclusion process. I thought the price for the exclusion was very reasonable. So far we have not had any additional rat activity but we do have peace of mind knowing that the exclusion has sealed any known entry points.

I called 1st Choice Pest Control to come to my home and spray for spiders. The lady in the office is very courteous and helpful. George, the owner, came to my home and talked with me. He did an inspection and one of his employees performed the spraying. I have since contracted to have them come quarterly to my home ($90 quarterly). They sprayed the outside of my home and inside the garage. I chose not to have the inside of my home sprayed. Additionally, I also used this company to replace my venting and install a vapor barrier.(Approximately $500) They did an excellent job installing the new vents and access door. Two of my vents needed to have French drains dug. I am very satisfied with their work and the vents look great as well. I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends, family and whomever.

My home is rodent-free and 1st Choice did the job that another company said they had done but had not. Mr. Wright was always pleasant and responsive to questions. He provided pictures to show what needed to be done and they cleaned up after all the work was done. Highly recommend them and would use them again - and probably will because I live in an old house in Norfolk. At least now I know a company who will perform the work they say the will!

First visit was 5 days ago. So far so good. Follow up visit was performed in a timely and efficient manner.

Provider responded immediately to my email. Moved around his schedule to come over first thing the next day. Solved the problem at a great price. Can't ask for more than that--would call again, and will consider his company for other services in the future.

George came out and provided a thorough inspection on my property and found several ant nests. He even climbed under the deck and found some ant nest. Gave me some good pointers and things to look for in the future.

I contacted George regarding the bee problem on the side of my house. It's choice had great reviews on Angie's list so i called to set up an appointment for George to come out and do an inspection.George was very professional with a cheerful attitude. Work was performed on my house and I am very happy with the results. I would recommend i1st choice to anyone and would use them again.if needed.

I interviewed several providers to deal with a problem with roof rats at an attached house. Several providers assured me it would be an ongoing problem and that I would need to call them back for repeat visits. Jordan, with 1st. Choice Pest Control made me feel the most confidant that he could resolve my problem. He used several modalities including permanently blocking points of entry. I have not had any more problem. I began wanting to be certain that 11 months later there had been no more rats in the attic and that all points of entry were still securely blocked. When I spoke with the owner, George, about my concern, he personally went over and checked out the attic as well as making sure the points of entry were still secured. His attitude and desire to see that I was still completely satisfied could not have been better. I feel very comfortable that my problem is still under control. I like to deal with someone who is reasonably priced, does what he says he will do, is completely professional, and has a cheerful "how can I serve you?" attitude - a level of service that is often hard to find. 1st Choice has my highest recommendation for all of the above. I see no reason to use any other pest control service.

I initiated service with 1st Choice Pest Control after moving back into my home after being stationed out of the area for a few years. From what I observed, my tenants and property manager hadn't used any kind of pest control service. My home had ant, and spider issues in various places. I called 1st Choice Pest Control; Mr. George Wright responded immediately and explained to me all the services he could provide. I chose a quarterly program where the technician treated my home every 3 months and have been doing this for over a year now. On one occasion, in between treatments, I discovered a large infestation of ants away from my home, yet still on my property within my landscaping. The very next day the area was treated free of charge. I've been very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the service I've received.

I contacted George via Angie's List based on his reviews. He was prompt returning my call, offered an inspection with no charge, quickly responded with an estimate, and offered and Angie's List Discount. He and his assistant Brandon are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They've endured my many questions and concerns. Since his first visit, he has already been back to recheck baits and check previous exclusion work. It is so nice to find someone who listens, does the work professionally, in a timely manner and right! I will continue to use 1st Choice and would recommend him to anyone!

I initially called George due to an ant problem over the summer. They literally disappeared after his treatment! While he was doing his treatment, he spotted other rodent issue. He was willing to show me, but I passed. I asked him about a service agreement since I have children and dogs and I didn't want any further issues to arise. Before each service, his office assistant calls a day or two in advance to remind me of the appoitnment and he emails me the invoice with a signature from his technician. I'm really impressed!

They've been fantastic. They come out whenever I see anything without any extra charges. I referred a friend and he gave me a quarter for free. I signed up for an additional year. They have excellent customer service. George is very nice.

George (the owner) came on time and did good few hours of hard work on the April/18/2013 in our house. He is very nice guy and hard work person. We will keep use his service to look after our house for TERMITES CONTROL.

Fine. Haven't seen any water bugs all year. And the sound of mice in the walls is gone.

They came out to do a free inspection and I ended up not needing their services, but they were so professional, pleasant, and considerate that I'm almost sad that I made them come all the way out for nothing. I am, however, extremely glad that I found them and will most definitely use them in the future should I need them!

After another company confirmed the existence of termites and quoted me a price that seems high, I got a few other quotes. The other highly rated companies also seemed high. Then I called and talked to George at First Choice, and I am very glad I did. Not only was his quote much low

Cost seemed very high. We went with another provider.
