He was fabulous. He takes pride in integrity. The owner is on the job, and the crew knows exactly what to do. They are very professional and courteous. Did the work quickly, and stayed everyday until dark. They only worked on my roof until completion, no other side jobs. I would highly recommend.

Great! Professional and always responded to calls in a timely fashion. Did a great job cleaning everyday. Even went an extra step to try and resolve a non roof drip we had. We had shingles on house and metal roof on porch. Very happy.

After researching roofing companies, we chose J B Roofing to replace our roof. Mr. Bowman came out personally to give us an estimate. His crew is very professional very efficient. We would also use him again if we need to.

New shingles were installed that were a perfect match to the older shingles. One cannot tell there was a patch job. Excellent.

He is very friendly, very personable. He did a great a job and was very prompt. He came out very quickly. Definitely give him a call. I called him because of what I read on Angie's List. He keeps up the time to go through some options with us and give us rough estimates from different types of roof, and made recommendations to maybe different lines we would want to research and check out before we make a decision. He doesn't use, I guess, lesser quality roofing materials. Everything he uses is of a certain quality before he would even touch it. He wants to do a quality job.

It turned out that the suspected roofing leak was in fact a plumbing leak. JB Roofing, and in particular its owner Joe Bowman, is very responsive even after the job is done. We have always received a return call same day. This is the second time that I have called Joe about what appeared to be a possible roofing problem, and twice it turned out to be a non roofing issue. In each case, Joe visited the site within a few days. In both cases he was very helpful in determining the real problem, finding a solution, and recommending others to help implement the solution.

Great. Quick response, quick estimate, good advice, worked very quickly, follow-up, etc. Would highly recommend.

This service was NEVER USED!

JB Roofing is very customer friendly, honest, and was great to work with. Joe came right out to do an estimate and though wasn't the cheapest, was by far not the most expensive. I heard very good things about the company from my realtor. I trust Joe the owner, he proved to me that he was honest, hard working, and truly triages his customers needs as they arise. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this company. His crew were on time, stayed late to finish up on the last day, cleaned up well. Joe came to inspect the roof in person after they finished and placed a follow up call to me weeks later to make sure I was happy. Please do not go with the commercial big name company in the NRV - they overpriced me big time. Joe does quality work, and really knows his trade and so does his crew.

All went well. Showed up on time and finished the job to my complete satisfaction.

Joe was quick to return my call and do an estimate. I chose them from 4 people I had do estimates, based on price, responsiveness, and professionalism. They came when they said they would, finished in the time frame they gave me, and cleaned up very well. Very pleased with my experience with them. Roof looks great!

Very responsive in quoting, answering questions, resolving details of work to be done. Pricing competitive. Work done well, good workmanship, good cleanup of property. Company's stated priorities for service are: 1. Ongoing jobs, 2. Completed jobs, 3. New jobs. We called about what appeared to be a minor issue, and it as resolved same day. Overall a good experience, great emphasis on customer service.

ll The bid was consistent with cost estimates I had received from the metal supplier. The roofers arrived within the agreed upon time frame and completed the job promptly. There was a minor delay of a few days to obtain some additional metal needed for an awning but it did not impact the construction. They picked up metal scraps with magnets and left the job site pretty well cleaned up. All I did was pick up a few small scraps of metal that escaped the magnets. To date, the roof has worked well through several severe storms (wind, ice). I have not seen any leaking.

My roof had been damaged by the derecho and then a hail storm. JB Roofing was one of the companies in the area that I called for an estimate. Many homes in my area had storm damage and there were storm chasers, but I preferred to wait for a local contractor. Joe Bowman, the owner and operator of JB Roofing, came out and prepared an estimate for me. Because I was on a list, it was about a month and a half before he could get to me, but he kept me informed. He called me the Friday before Thanksgiving and said he would start work the following Monday and be finished by Thanksgiving if that would not interfere with any holiday plans. He also wanted to make sure that his crew's arrival time was okay to be minimally disruptive. Joe's team showed up on time on the agreed upon Monday, and they proceeded to tear down and remove the old shingles. There was water damage that didn't show up until the shingles had been removed. He took pictures of the damage and discussed with me what that meant. His team put in the new roof vent, replaced the damaged wood, put down the vapor barrier and then cleaned up for the first day. The next day they came and completed the roof. His team was professional and courteous. After the job was finished, Joe said if I had problems with anything to just give him a call. He was always responsive to my calls and emails through the entire process.

JB Roofing was by far the most prompt contractor to give me a quote. He explicitly identified all work to be done, including details others missed. Though he wasn't the cheapest, his price was in the ballpark. We chose him since we felt he would do the best job and liked the product he recommended (CertainTeed Landscape architectural shingles). We had to wait about 6 weeks for him to get to our house. He gave me 4 days warning. Due to weather issues, it took a little over 3 days to finish the job. The crew was exceptional. They worked very hard and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. The final cleanup could not have been more thorough. We were so delighted that we gave the crew a tip. The roof looks great. We recommend JB Roofing.

The owner came out and provided an estimate. He responded quickly, and provided detailed answers. He is very prepared and took detailed measurements. He was quick and thorough with his estimate and was competitive with his price, and offers a quality product. I went with a competitor, but that was because JB had alot of work scheduled and I didn't want to wait into Sept. Otherwise I'd have spent the little bit extra and went with him. I feel confident he'd have done an excellent job. I saw a house he did in Vinton and the roof looked very good.

Joe was quick to respond to my request for an estimate. He was very personable. I have roofing experience in my past, so it wasn't necessary for him to explain everything in detail. JB Roofing was not the highest estimate, but they were in the ball park. It took a little while to get them out here, but that was understandable due to the recent wind storm. I also had to get some masonry work done on the chimneys before the roof was redone. Joe was very communicative via emails. He gave me about a 4 day heads up. I was out of town, but my wife was home when the crew arrived. They had the old roof off and the new one on in a day. The crew returned the next morning to finish the clean up and finalize the job. They did a great job cleaning up and did not leave any damage to the house or the landscaping. I would highly recommend this company!

JB was very reasonably priced compared to other contractors. They started on time and finished quickly. The quality of the work was very good. They left the site very clean. I would highly recommend JB Roofing and would not hesitate to contract with them again.

Our whole experience with JB Roofing went very well. I was very unsure of which type of shingle I wanted, spent months checking this out. JB Roofing gave us a fair estimate, never pressured us on one particular brand or type of shingle. Though I changed the shingle originally quoted, the estimate came out within a couple hundred dollars from the original estimate. I can't say enough about the quality of the workmanship of this group. They were hard workers, started the job and stayed with it until finished. They took few breaks, arrived early in the a.m. and worked diligently all day long. They were good about cleaning up the work area, picked up the millions of pieces of roofing and nails everyday! Very cognizant of protecting our lawn and shrubs etc. We have had a number of neighbors comment on how well the roof looks. We would highly recommend JB Roofing.

Jand B Roofing came when they said they would (I did have to wait, but they came at their estimated date). They started the job and worked until it was finished, leaving my house and yard tidy. It has been three years and I have had not problems with the roof. In 2010, my neighbors had Jand B replace their roof and were happy with the results.
