+ -1 moreThe door panel had to be custom made. The first piece they received from their supplier was bowed and did not slide satisfactorily for them. It was reordered and installed within a week. Our house is 30 years old and has settled a bit. They spent a long time cleaning the door tracks and making sure the door functioned properly. We were very pleased with the result

They came out right away to quote; they responded very quickly with a price and overall, they were much easier and more friendly to deal with than other glass companies in town. They're also happy to answer and questions or concerns. I would recommend them to others.

+ -1 moreVery professional. They measured for the door on 10/8. Estimated arrival of doors at the company was 10/18. They arrived sooner, on 10/15. They called in the AM and doors were installed by noon that day. Installers were very professional also. Glass shelf didn't fit in space correctly and was taken back to shop and estimated return the next day or two. Original man returned 10/22 with shelf and installed it.
Description of Work: Measured and installed frameless glass shower doors for a bathroom renovation . Also measured and installed a glass shelf in the shower cut-out for shampoo etc.

+ -1 moreAs explained above, the provider provided an estimate, but then would not call me back to arrange for a time to do the work, and they never explained why.
Description of Work: This company estimated repairs on several windows in a townhouse I was buying. They came out and took parts from the windows so as to have the correct size. After I moved in, I called them five or six times, trying to arrange for the work. They never called me back, nor did they return the parts they took. I called over a five-week period, and never heard back. I don't know why they didn't want the job after they estimated it. I have now found another company who will repair my windows for $150 less. At the very least, I deserved the courtesy of a reply. At some future date, I am thinking of replacing the windows, but I will certainly not use Virginia Glass for that job.

Description of Work: Kris the salesman was wonderful. He was punctual and either answered the phone whenever I called or called me back immediately. He measured the shower opening for a door and gave me an estimate on the spot. When his proposal was a bit more than a competing one, he met the other proposal. He gave me an accurate timeline for the work and called me immediately when snow prevented the first installation from taking place. The men who installed the shower were nice, respectful and careful in their work. They asked questions before going ahead with the work and told me exactly what to expect. They told me how to maintain the door and to call if I had questions or something needed to be addressed.
