Description of Work: I hired this company to repair a 2 inch coupling connecting 2 copper pipes. I caused it to start dripping so I looked in the phone book and went to the company to have someone come out and re-solder the connection so it would stop dripping. I wasn't home, my girlfriend was here when Drew, the technician, showed up and he did quote her at $285.67 to repair it. Now her not being very knowledgeable about the situation said yes and he had not even looked at the situation before he quoted her that price. If he couldn't or wouldn't repair the existing pipe, he should have informed her so she could call me at work and I could call to discuss with the technician. However, he didn't and he took it upon himself with out permission or authorization and he cut out my copper pipe and replaced it with plastic. He didn't even replace the line from the joints to the faucet supply line. He cut 6 inches lower so he could take as much copper as he could. Now instead of 6 inches of copper coming through my cabinet, I have one inch, which will make any future repairs difficult. During his unauthorized repairs, he caused a fairly new flexible supply line going to the faucet to leak, which I had to go out and buy a new one and replace it. When he was finished and turned the water back on, he didn't even run the water in the sink to check his repairs. Had he done this, he would have realized that the customer had damaged the drain pipe on the left of the sink and could have informed me of this so that we didn't use the left side of the sink because after he left, my girlfriend did the dishes and drained about a gallon of water under the sink in the cabinet. And we didn't realized this until I came home from work and looked at the work. The next day, I did call and left a message with the receptionist because I wanted to talk about this situation, but no one has even bothered to call me back. I feel like they have had more than adequate time to return my call. All he did was got in, took advantage of a senior citizen for as much money as they could, did what they wanted to do, and have no intention on following up with their work. P.S. My girlfriend being an older mature woman, they didn't even offer he a senior discount.

Description of Work: Spent 8 hours attempting to clear the exterior sewer drain. Several suggests were made that perhaps the Terra cotta pipes were broken and digging it up to inspect the line since he couldn't clear the line or renting a back hoe was needed. He continued to snaking. He did pull out debris,but never cleared the line. His sevices were canceled after 8 hours and the line was still blocked. Brought in another crew the next day, sewer line was dug up, broken tile found and new pipe laid to city access. Wasted $795+ that could have gone toward the 2nd crew.

Description of Work: I had them come out multiple times last year. Last March they replaced my tank. A month later my alarm went off and they said the floats needed replaced which would be another $400. The next day the alarm went off again and it was determined the floats were bad. The came and replaced them the next day. A month later the alarm went off and a pvc pipe was cracked. This was repaired for $350 and another pipe cracked a few weeks later. Every time they came out they left a mess. I finally contacted the owner of the company to let him know of my disappointment and expense in this service. He did not charge me for the last 2 services however took no ownership or responsibility for the poor quality work and high expense the company charges.

Description of Work: An employee came once for an estimate. He said his company would not be able to perform septic tank pumping, as the truck would not be able to make it up our driveway. We have regular propane deliveries so knew he was wrong. Two other companies have since served us and their trucks had no problems. We didn't use this company because for this reason. I can't speak for quality of work as they did no work for us.

Description of Work: I used Speedy Rooter to repair a leak in our barn. They had to jack hammer the concrete floor and repair the leak which they found using a leak detection service. The repairs were made and so far things look good. (2200$ about same price as quoted from another plumber) | |We also used them to clear a drain in the house. The first trip they did not clear it out completely. They sent a second plumber out the next day with no questions asked and cleared out the drain for no charge. ($240 for original service)

Description of Work: I had the plumber eval the condition of our sink disposal. I had ask the company that when he came out to not ring the doorbell because my kids were sleeping. He arrived and the kids slept through the whole thing. He was very informative, professional, and friendly. The diagnosis was bad but the service was great.

Description of Work: We had a leak in the basement from a sink drain line. They fixed it in 2 hours, and then they were on their way. Very quick, professional, and friendly. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Sewage pipes bursted in basement. They came out the same day. Stopped the leak & the blockage. Very polite & professional. Explained everything in clear terms.

Description of Work: The building is a duplex. There was a leak coming from the upstairs apt. into the downstairs apt. It appeared that the sink and tub in the upstairs apt. were backing up. I called Speedy Rooter and they sent someone out the same morning I called. This is very unusual. Typically, they come out the next day at the earliest. The technician who came out (Randall) was very attentive and friendly. He put a snake down both drains and he caulked around the edges of the bathtub. The leaking has stopped. The price seemed high to me, but perhaps that is the going rate for snaking drains.

Description of Work: The main water line to our house ruptured. Speedy Rooter diagnosed accurately the problem. They offered several solutions giving pros and cons to each. Diagnosed that main water line was directed underneath a paved driveway and suggested an alternate route- thus saving time and cost.

Description of Work: The condensate drain for my 2 air conditioning units was not draining properly so that the water was pooling on the basement floor. Speedy Rooter sent Randall to check the problem and he identified a collapsed drain line as the issue. He installed a condensate pump to carry the water to the main drain into the septic tank which solved the problem.

Description of Work: Slow drainage in sinks, toilet "gurgling". Occasional need to use the plunger. Randall was the service provider and he did an excellent job. Used a Rotor machine to unplug near sewer line.

Description of Work: Speedy-Rooter came out for a service call because I was having a problem with my garbage disposal and how it drained.
