He's a very pleasant person; he seemed less like a plumber who works for a big company and more like a guy who runs his own business, which is fine with me. The responsiveness issue was understandable since he was traveling and got delayed.

Jamie did a fantastic job. Came out the day we called him to see what needed to be done. The next day he and his associate had the new hot water tank in quickly and efficiently. Spent time showing us how the new hot water tank worked and answered all of our questions. Would definitely recommend Smith Plumbing!

Disposer was shorted and he was able to think ahead and bring with him the kind that I needed and install it. When it stuck again a month later, he discovered it was a nut in my disposer and didn't try to charge me an arm and a leg for him to dig it out...total integrity, trustworthy man.

Jamie and his assistant, Raphael, were very easy to deal with. A few hours after our first call to him, we had an appointment for the next day. They arrived when they said they would and accurately estimated the time the work would take. Jamie also took the time to explain exactly what went wrong and identified a potential future problem to watch for. He also looked at another area where we'd like a shutoff valve moved and gave us an estimate that was half what another plumber would say it would cost.

We called Smith Plumbing Monday morning, as our hot water heater had died Sunday. By 5 PM Monday evening, we had hot water again. We were very pleased with the work done, and the speed at which is was done. Mr. Smith was professional, arrived when he said he would, and replaced our hot water heater with a new "Made in USA" model of the same size. We are very happy.

He really explained to me well why it had frozen and broken in the first place. He fixed the problem that had been happening before.

He put in a beautiful new spigot and cut a hole in the basement bathroom wall, but fixed the drywall by installing a little door that gives any future plumbers access to those pipes! All of this on a Saturday morning at the last minute, so we wouldn't have to go all weekend without water! And for the much more reasonable price of $330. Jaime returned my call immediately after leaving him a message and arrived at my home within 30 minutes. My water bill had skyrocketed so we suspected a water pipe leak, which Jaime confirmed. After some digging near the water main, he and his team quickly found the leaky pipe, which was buried in the front yard. The pipe was fixed and holes in the ground filled in just a couple of hours. Jaime and his team were professional, courteous and couldn't have been more prompt. His rates were competitive. I will definitely call on Smith Plumbing for any future plumbing problems.

I called Jamie in the morning, he returned the call shortly afterwards and was able to come that afternoon, even though this wasn't an emergency. The sprayer nozzle in the kitchen sink was dripping and seemed to cause the regular faucet water flow to pulsate. There also was water in the cabinet under the sink leaking from the sprayer nozzle hosing. Jamie examined everything carefully, cleaned the nozzle and the faucet. He explained the design of the nozzle leads to dripping and explained how to reduce that. He felt the problem was somewhat due to recent work on the main water lines, so he examined the main water valve, cleaning out a lot of debris that had been caught in the filter screen. He worked carefully and thoroughly and is very polite and pleasant. He honored a $25 coupon that was on the Angie's List site. His regular fee is $85 per hour, but the coupon brought the cost to us down to $60. We would definitely use Jamie again.

I had tried to do my own toilet work - swapping out all of the parts in the tank with a universal kit from Lowe's. Everything seemed to be good for 4 days, but on day 5, there was water leaking. I immediately called a professional to come fix what I has screwed up on this toilet. Jamie came within a couple hours, came when he said he would, and even texted me when he was on his way. When Jamie came over, he found the source of the leak (I had cut the washer on the pipe going into the toilet), fixed that part, then went on to double check everything else. He gave me some pointers on what to expect with the type of change I made to the toilet, and why the leak happened. All in all, this was a great experience. Jamie bailed me out from an amateur toilet install on short notice and for a really reasonable price.

They came out and everything went well. They set up a payment plan with us. They fixed everything. They were on time and got the job done. There were no real issues. They came when they said they were going to come. There was nothing in particular that I didn't like about them. They seemed fine. I don’t exactly know what the pricing for such a job would be.
