Description of Work: Rooftcrafters inspected my roof and told me that I needed to replace four (4) vent pipe collars for $750.00 total. They also provided an estimate on installing a solar panel for a solar attic fan at $200.00 and installing a wi-fi antenna for $100.00. I would provide the solar panel and the wi-fi antenna. | |I thought the cost to install replacement vent pipe collars was a little on the high side, but the cost for installing a solar panel for a solar attic fan and the cost for installing a wi-fi antenna was reasonable. However, I did not get an understanding if they would actually mount the fan on the inside of the gabel vent, in addition to mounting the solar panel on the roof; and if they would mount the outside and inside antenna for the wi-fi connection. |

Description of Work: Inspected the roof, made me aware of some repair needs and completed those identified.

Description of Work: Had a serious leak where water was coming through the cieling in my dining room. I went in the attic found out where water was coming through. There was a place where two pieces of plywood decking met. The plywood on one side had bowed downward. This was where the water was coming through like gangbusters. I went up on the roof sealed & nailed loose shingles down in the area above the bad plywood. This did not stop the leak. My wife was getting more upset by the day. Most of the roofers in town have long waiting lists for to fix this kind of problem. Not knowing who I could trust I joined Angie's List. Many of the listed roofers I called were booked out for weeks. I finally called Roofcrafters after reading the positive reviews. I told them of the situation and they agreed to come the next day. Upon arrival I gave them the information about what I knew of the leak. They removed the shingles in the area sectioned out the bad plywood and replaced it and re-shingled over the repaired area. Upon arrival they wasted no time and got right to work. When they left everything was cleaned up leaving no trace that they were ever here. Considering what they done I thought their price was very reasonable. There has not been a severe rain since they were here so I can't comment if the problem was fixed. If I were a betting man I would bet my roof is leak free in the area they repaired. I'm very grateful that they came the next day. I was getting worried, the holidays were coming and I didn't want this problem hanging over my head. I would recommend Roofcrafters without hesitation and call them again when I need roof work. | |

Description of Work: Put cedar shake roof on a log cabin.

Description of Work: Damon Galeassi did a terriffic job. He removed a cedar shake roof, repair a 80 linear foot porch, resheathed with plywood, and reshingled the entire house. He has been in business for 40 years and it shows as he is the last of his generation, putting the extra effort into the project. There wasn't a splinter left when they were done. This was a very big job. I had other roofing companies that would not even touch it. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone one in the central VA or RDU area that needs any roofing work done.
