As a third generation customer of Robertson Electric (my parents and grandparents have used them since the 1970s), I'm very happy with them. We recently had our 15 year old single zone heat pump replaced with a new Trane two zone system. A.W. was very easy to work with, was extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to understand what we needed. Wayne and his install team were prompt, extremely professional and did an excellent job. Overall, a fair price, quality work, and great customer experience. I look forward to using them again for other home improvement projects.

Unreliable, unprofessional. Would not do business with this company again. Scheduled service - install an A/C outlet and two thermostats. Scheduler made appointment two weeks out. On the day before the scheduled appointment, they called. They can't install the outlet tomorrow and will only provide estimate. They can't install thermostats; they need more time. Please call to reschedule. During the two weeks between scheduled and date of appointment, no-one bothered to look at the scheduled services and determine whether the work could be done on the date and in the time allotted. I get the call to reschedule the day before the appointment. To me, this sounds like untrained schedulers and not enough competition in a small market to move this company to fix the problem and do it right. If they're this unreliable at keeping appointments, I can't rely on them to do electric work properly.

The plumber quickly identified the problem with the stop valve, explained the pricing for the rate and price of the valve. The repair was performed and notes for overall home estimate performed within an hour. The plumber even offered a higher coupon rate being a first-time customer over Angie's list discount. The plumber was very professional and kind. Will go with them again.

Electrician checked outlets and circuit breaker and quickly figured out the problem and took care of it. While he was at our home, he also added an outside outlet to our house, something we had been wanting to do for a long time.

They did very well. they came and maintain my heating and AC that is Old.

The electrician was courteous & punctual. He went about the tasks methodically and expeditiously. He answered our questions in detail.

We thought we needed a repair due to the system having frozen up. The service person did not even open the unit and declared we’d need a new system. This approach reminded me of the AAA trucks that come out when you have a dead battery and always try to sell you a new one, when a charge will suffice. It turns out we did need a new system but his approach was a total turn-off. After getting 3 bids we ended up going with Robertson due to the price, availability for installation (heat of summer and we had to wait a week which was better than the others). The sales person and installation crew were professional. They did leave some screws and wire snips on the floor so not the tidiest. They tried to not destroy my garden which surrounds the outside unit. Alas, the air is good and cold but the new system is very noisy. In their follow-up call to the installation a switch was replaced which is a little quieter. Having another service call in a few days as there’s a ringing/tingling type noise that ispretty constant when the fan is not blowing. A new system should be quiet in my opinion. The inside unit/closet is in our hallway and from upstairs it sounds like music is playing downstairs in the background. Hope this can be resolved.

I took off of work today because we woke up with a third of our house without power. After wasting the entire day waiting for the company our home warranty assigned to our service request to NEVER respond (we called 6+ times and messaged via Facebook where we saw that they read the message and still refused to respond!), Robertson came to the rescue! Not only were they at our house within an hour, we were blown away by the customer service provided by Cody. He was not only professional, but he helped give us advice on other things we were considering having done in the future and as well as other money saving suggestions. We are brand new homeowners (still barely unpacked), and Robertson Electric has earned our loyalty for anything we need done with our electric, HVAC, and plumbing in the future. We could not be more impressed.

Great! They didn't fool around. They got the job done in one day for the unit that goes into a crawl space and the outdoor.

I received quotes from Robertson, Vailes, and Albemarle. Albemarle was about 6,000 more than either of the other quotes, and sales tactics were a little pushy (suggesting an additional oil furnace because I wouldn't be happy with heat pump heat after I said we wanted electric only, quoting me $30,000 right off the bat before doing an analysis, talking bad about Robertson Electric using flex duct, etc.). We narrowed it down to Robertson and Vailes, and ended up going with Robertson because they threw in a couple extras and the price was the lowest. AW was great to work with. Really smart, friendly, seemed very trustworthy. Installation took a week - it was a big job. We rented a house and got out of the guys' way while they were there that week. They still cleaned up each night and took good care of the house while we were out of it. They did end up using flex duct in some places, but as you come to find out, it brings the price down and is commonly used these days. I guess if you're concerned about that issue, you need to be very upfront about not using it. When we moved back into our house, there was an issue with the upstairs thermostat/zone and downstairs being swapped. We called their service department and they had someone out within just a half hour to get it fixed. The Trane system itself has been incredible. We financed in the fall using their 0% interest for five years - the finance department was easy to work with (even went above and beyond, I'd say). I would highly recommend Robertson.

Quick response, though work needed a second visit to install the lights.

Workmanship/service & responsiveness where all A++. During the quoting stage they even brought the Electrician MGR. to show how the new lines were going to be run. AW & his team did an awesome job!

I use them all the time for air conditioning.

They checked everything over, cleaned it, changed filters. They have good customer service. Their price is a little bit on the high side. I use them because they are competent.
