To start with Mr. Noonan is fun and professional to talk with. He is very candid with what he can offer and does not hesitate at all to show his confidence. He arrived earlier than previously communicated and started setting up his job and carry forward all steps in very organized way. He does not use power wash machine and instead applied the detergent he created and mixed on his own recipe. In the end, we are extremely happy about the new look of our house and would definitely contact him for future works and recommend him to friends!

Professional, neat, timely, superb work with excellent demeanor

This was the second time I have used Joseph. He is extremely professional. He always calls before he starts a job. He is prompt and finishes the job in the time frame that he has estimated. He uses quality products and communicates continually as he completes the work.. In addition, he goes above and beyond completing additional jobs that he didn't include in the estimate at no extra charge. In my case, he washed my lawn furniture, cut down a cedar tree and cleared other brush. He washed and stained a side walk, weeded flower beds and cleared and carted off debris not related to the job. He always wants to make sure that you are pleased with the work completed. When I was concerned about the coverage of the stain on the deck he added another coat of stain. Now it is beautiful and I would highly recommend Joseph as a very competent and professional contractor!

I had a contract to sell my rental house and all I had to do was make repairs listed by the buyer?s inspector. Plus I needed a handyman to answer my call quickly. I did not have time to wait around. Mr Noonan called back the day I called. He was just the right person to get this list done quickly and professionally. I could not afford to have this fail the house reinspection. The door and jam were repaired with the rot removed and the wood replaced in such a way that the repairs are stronger than the door was when new. The replacement wood panel fit perfectly. The outside light was remounted so that it was straight and solidly attached to the wall. The crack in the driveway now is filled and much less obvious. The best thing about these repairs is that Mr. Noonan came exactly when he said he would, did everything quickly and left me confident that there would be no argument over whether the repairs were acceptable. This guy is amazing. I can not recommend him highly enough. PS The house passed inspection.

Showed up on time, did the job well, cleaned up and removed all trash/debris, communicated well--before, during and after. Great work, decent price, kept all promises, and followed up to make sure we were satisfied. We were--again. He and his crew are professionals, and we will continue to have them do work for us as needed. We found them on Angie's List and this is our third time hiring Joe Noonan and crew.

Joseph Noonan and his helper arrived on time and prepared to work. They worked steadily throughout the day and completed all the tasks plus additional help as they noticed related problems. --ceiling of porch. They pulled out the sheetrock ceiling and examined the areas under the porch roof. They found no evidence of a leak and so were able to install a new ceiling without further roof work needed. They installed and and stained a lovely wooden ceiling (which goes well with our wood-siding house). They cleaned up completely when the work was finished. --repairing around grills. The openings at each end of the attic to allow ventilation under the rood needed repair. We had previously had grills installed, but animals (probably squirrels) had torn up the wood when they could not get through the grills. Wood patches were installed around the openings; the wood was stained to match the house well; the grills were re-stapled to strengthen them. --hanging rods. This work was done quickly and as desired. He put down tarps in the house near the front door while they were working on the porch ceiling, and they cleaned up the entire work area carefully. We value having Joseph Noonan available to do handyman work for us. We can have him come for one-half day or a full day, depending on the tasks needed. He will do major projects or a series of small projects. If he finishes the list of agreed-upon tasks, he looks for others he can do with any remaining time at no additional charge. He is cheerful, thoughful, and makes good suggestions. If we need a task done that he does not do as part of his service, he makes good suggestions for additional craftsmen or installers to do the work. We recommend Joseph Noonan's handyman service without reservation.

Joe was, as usual, prompt and ready to begin at the time we agreed. He washed my house, using a solution which impedes the formation of algae. It looked better than it ever had. Meanwhile, his associate began cleaning, preparing and painting the foundation.of my house. By the time the work was finished, my house looked like it had had a major face-lift. Joe is meticulous in all phases of his work. He leaves the place better than before. I felt that the improved condition of my house was well worth the price. I have had Joe work on several projects and have been very pleased. I will continue to use his services and highly recommend him.

:Joe is always courteous and professional. We have used him to do several odd jobs over the last few years. We trust him to complete the job without anyone being home. Joe always takes his client through the process that he used to complete his jobs. He cleans up well and makes sure his clients are satisfied fully.

Mr. Noonan is a true professional. He does everything in his power to make sure the completed work is done to his customers satisfaction. Did exactly what was stated in the contract. Didn't have to remind him of anything. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. I would highly recommend him and will use him in the future myself.

Joe was very clear in his communications, did outstanding work, and made a contractor's intrusion into our home as painless as possible. He and his crew were both professional and courteous. He offered some great, relatively low cost suggestions on ways to improve the looks of our garage, and the price was very fair for the quality of work performed. He stays pretty busy and, after having seen his work, I know why. We will certainly use him again and would recommend him to anyone.

Excellent! I called and left a message, and he called back the next day. Arranged a day to come and see the work to be done. Gave an estimate. Called and emailed to check to make sure we had everything needed for the repairs and upgrades. Came right on time the day we had arranged. Work all done that day. Cleaned up better than I clean. Did extra work (repainted the stairs trim), just "because it needed it." All work is excellent and done perfectly -- no "close enough" here. If you need a handyman, HIRE THIS GUY.

It was an excellent experience. Joe Noonan communicated before, during and after the job, keeping us informed throughout. He scheduled us early in the year to avoid pollen getting into the paint, and finished two days before the last major snowfall. He re-tweaked his plans as needed (due to weather) and focused on the interior painting to prevent major disruption in our lives. He and his crew listened to all our input and gave us a superb job. (E.D. did a masterful job of cutting-in around the woodwork in our kitchen!) Afterwards, Joe walked us through the whole job, and called a week later to see if we were still satisfied. We are: 100 per cent.

Amazing job! We were preparing our home for the real estate market and Joe really helped get many things repaired/renewed. he and his crew worked extremely hard and were very professional. We were extremely pleased with the job. Would recommend Joe to anyone.

I called Mr. Noonan based on the review on Angie's List. I initially called him to install some kitchen cabinets and build a closet. Mr. Noonan wasn't available to do the work I needed soon enough, but he cheerfully provided me with the names of a painter and carpenter (both of whom were OUTSTANDING). He went completely above and beyond, offering to help me in any way he could. This was remarkable as we had never met. Several weeks later, when his schedule opened up, he gave me a bid on painting my house. Although we ended up deciding to do the painting ourselves, I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Noonan's professionalism, follow up and willingness to talk about any possible concerns. I can only hope to use his services in the future because he has gained my loyalty.

As stated above, Over all Joseph did and exceptional job.

He arrived on time. He only works on a daily basis, not by the hour. Unless you have a lot of jobs for him to accomplish, the cost per job is high. He does not waste any time and is very professional. I was disappointed that he does not do any type of electrical work but I knew that before I hired him. He had no fear walking on my steep roof for the gutter work described above. I believe he told me that he used to work as a lumberjack climbing tall trees and topping them. I would hire him again if I had enough non-electrical jobs to fill a day's work.

I have a long list of small repairs that need to be done in my home, ranging from electrical to carpentry. Mr. Noonan responded to my voice mail very promptly and discussed my needs at length. Since he is unable to fit me into his schedule as quickly as I need some of the work done, he was kind enough to refer me to someone else who would be able to help me more urgently, even providing me with the phone number instead of just a vague referral. He asked me several times to let him know if I had any difficulties with the referral or if for some reason they could not help me, and also said he would follow up with me next week to make sure I was take care of. I was impressed by the promptness and courtesy of his response to my phone call, and grateful that he was wiling to help me find someone who is able to help me even if he was not able to do so at this point. I will definitely be calling Mr. Noonan again when I have repairs that are of a less urgent nature and will be recommending his service to friends and family.

My home had multiple problems resulting from a faulty foundation which caused a domino effect of doors not hanging properly, drywall damage, the interior of my kitchen cabinets falling apart, baseboards separating from the wall and floors, cracks in the walls, as well as drywall damage in a narrow skylight shaft which was next to impossible to access, etc.. It was a nightmare of a list for any handyman but Mr. Noonan and company tackled the jobs with enthusiasm and a professionalism rarely seen anymore. They were here for 4 days, were always pleasant and cheerful, completed all the work thoroughly, cleaned up after themselves (and me at times), and left my home looking amazing. Some of the work was exceptionally difficult to complete but they somehow managed to do it and make it look easy. I will definitely use him again and I recommend Mr Noonan & company without reservation. I personally will never use anyone else but Mr. Noonan again. There are not enough superlatives to describe how happy I am with his work. If you're looking for someone who shows up on time, communicates effectively, always keeps his promises, sticks to the budget and is a true professional in every sense of the word then this is the guy for you.

I contacted the Noonan's after reading their favorable reviews. Since they are so well respected, they keep busy. I got a call back within 12 hours and even though they were booked for months, they were able to refer me to someone they trusted.

Joe Noonan is a handyman gem.. Not only did he clean and fix my gutters, but also noticed problems on my roof. As a result of his repairs, the source of a leak in my sun room was stopped. Joe explains exactly what he is doing and why. He is skilled, friendly, and reasonable. The cost for such excellent work is a true value. As a follow-up to his work, Joe called after several days of rain to check on the leaks. That is what i call exceptional service. Because of the quality of his work., I have scheduled Joe for larger projects such as washing vinyl siding, painting the house's foundation and trim, and insulating the windows. I am confident that Joe will do the same high quality work..

Great job. Joe not only cleaned the gutters, but cleaned off the deck as well. He checked out the roof and made sure that nothing else needed work, inside and out. In addition, he helped me with a bit of yard work while he was there.

We found Joe here on Angie's List, and when we called, we found that it would be a while before he could come. It was worth the wait. He first scheduled a Saturday consultation so that we could figure out what he would do. For the consultation, he offered lots of helpful advice, was super friendly, and did not come across as rushed or brusque. He was clear about costs. He also said that he'd be glad to have me help/observe so that I could learn more about this work. We settled on several different tasks, and we scheduled the actual work for a few weeks later. There was a little confusion about the scheduling, but Joe was very flexible again. The day of the work, he brought a helper, as we had agreed during the consultation (I feel terrible that I can't remember his name, he was great, too.). They got to work quickly, and they talked me through a lot of what they were doing. Joe's estimate for the amount of work that could be done in the day was spot-on. In the end, he accomplished several tricky tasks, repairing or replacing different trim around the house that had rotted, including eave boards, porch railings and pickets, garage door trim, and window and door trim. In the process, I watched him work through a variety of problems, learning a bit about how to improvise when they arise. The cost was absolutely fair, but not cheap. For his skill and the ease of working with him, it's probably low. All in all, a great experience. Thanks, Joe!

Very good experience with Mr. Noonan. First off, he called me back, which can be the first hurdle when hiring a contractor/handyman. He came out to my house and did a full walk-through of my issues--offering solutions and advice as we went--then emailed me with a price and proposed date. The price seemed very fair, and on the date he came out he worked through all of my issues, including some seriously clogged underground gutters that I thought might be lost causes. He left the outside of my house far cleaner than it was when he got there, and went ahead and cleaned my gutters while he was up there. I will also note due to Mr. Noonan's very busy schedule, he warned me out front that he would not be able to get to me for a couple of months. I told him that was fine because the work was not urgent, but he said if I needed to get the work done immediately he would arrange for one of his trusted friends to perform the job. What kind of handyman/contractor willingly gives up work for the benefit of the customer? So, in short, this was a really excellent experience. Mr. Noonan is a true professional. He told me exactly what he was going to do and then did it with great skill for a fair price. I will call him again.
