Joe is great to work with. He's an excellent communicator, for starters, and then, once he arrives, it's like he adopts your house. He came out, with his assistants, to clean and stain my deck and make some repairs to some damaged wood on part of the railing. We had discussed more substantial work, but I decided to hold off on that due to finances. Joe did a great job cleaning and staining the deck, which was my expectation, but he also, while he had the equipment handy, power washed the back wall of my foundation and some boards that were laying as a makeshift floor over the ground underneath the deck. He power washed my front walk; he stained some of the wood trim/supports under the deck, even though hardly anyone's going to look at that. On top of that, I think it was bugging him that the downspout was a couple of mismatched shades of paint, so he and crew got out the ladder and painted it to match the deck all the way up to the roof! He also did a tide-me-over caulk and paint job on some of the wood that needs more major repairs but isn't in the budget right now. I got way more than I expected and I'm very, very happy with it all. I definitely plan on working with him again.

Joe keeps in touch and lets you know what's going on, every step of the way. He and his crew did everything I asked and even "went the extra mile."

Joseph was very responsive and professional. Best of all, his work was of high quality – the front of our house looks great. We’ve already scheduled Joseph for addiontialonal work and look forward to his next visit.

Joe is more adept on a ladder twenty feet up than most people are on solid ground. He is a true professional, and we now consider him a friend of the family. He's a rock star. Hire him, if you can. (He books up at least a month in advance!) Don't be surprised when he shows up early, and don't be surprised if he'll somehow get through your list ahead of schedule.

They are very good communicators and had a very reasonable price. They provided dependable service. I will use them again in the future.

Mr. Noonan did a wonderful job of knocking out the punch list for our home. He beautifully fixed two cracks in our plaster walls, repaired a loose kitchen faucet, fixed and painted damaged sheetrock, and repaired cracks around our baseboards. He has a great attention to detail, and he even fixed problems that I did not spot initially. He hung blind valences and even cleaned and repainted our rockers on the front porch. These projects should have taken two days, but he managed the time so well, and got it all done for us in a day. Very professional and talented!

Joe did a great job in determining how to clean that deck. He was very careful to make sure that the product used would not result in damage to the boards. As the first section dried it was obvious that he had selected the correct cleaning agent. The deck looks like new. Joe did a great job.

Joseph is incredibly organized and very determined to accomplished any job to perfection.

Friendly, very meticulous in his work. Good quality. Even when repairs turned out to be more extensive than anticipated, he kept his standards high.

Not only did Joe meet our expectations, he exceeded them. He is the most professional, customer service oriented person I have ever met. He is punctual, trustworthy, and has high standards. His crew is equally professional and has pride in their work. Plus he did a bang up job of organizing our garage which needed painting. We will be using Joe again for some exterior work that is needed in the Spring. Joe's work ethic was something that I thought I would never see again until he and his team came to our house for a week and created a miracle. We started the process of contacting Joe in November and he put us on his schedule to begin work in late January of 2012. Joe scheduled time to visit with us and review the job. Right before the work began, he visited with his painter and developed the punch list and process for the work. Because of the amount of work needed, we went away for the week so that the crew did not have to work around the family. Returning home to a beautiful "new" house was better than any gift. He added some repairs as he saw the need which added minimal cost to the overall estimate for the project. I don't think there is anything Joe can't do and if there is, he will quickly recommend another provider or idea. Which brings me to my last point - he is generous with his knowledge and skills so that the homeowner can get the very best guidance for a particular project.

Mr. Noonan was punctual each time that we used him. He was easy to talk to, and gave excellent suggestions on how to fix the areas we requested. He has great attention to detail, and as stated before always does something a little extra while he is here. We are very pleased with his work.

Joe was very reliable and well-organized. He does good work. I had a lot of small odds and ends and that, in my opinion, is what he is good at. I would use him again for small handyman type jobs.

He was outstanding. I will use him again. He cleaned up any mess that he made while he did the work.

This was my first use of Angie's list, and I must say, it does work! I selected Mr Noonan based on these recommendations. He was extremely responsive, making recommendations for someone who could complete our gutter repair and cleaning work right away, as he was personally booked until February. He called several times to follow up and offer a recommendation for another unique plaster repair we need. I have no doubt that his work will meet or exceed my expectations, given his responsiveness, the caliber of his recommendations, and the comments here on Angie's List. I will call him again, and hope to work with him one day.

This is the best contractor I have ever done business with! Promptly returns calls, shows up on time, does exceptional work, and does more than you asked for!! Awesome!! No wonder he's so busy!

I had already used this service for a different project earlier in the summer. Mr. Noonan had repaired, cleaned, and painted my deck. I had been so pleased with his work that I contracted with him to come back in the fall to do the present job. He is the consummate professional in his work: extremely knowledgeable, always on time, always prepared, full of energy and enthusiasm for the job at hand, and a thoroughly enjoyable person as well. I can recommend him wholeheartedly.

So, Mr. Noonan referred me to Dwayne Silers for electrical work - since Mr. Noonan has used his services before and was quite pleased. Then he recommended E.D. Mawyer for the repair work. He highly recommended these two men and also offered to help me after Christmas if I still needed some work done. If I still need some handyman work done after the first of the year, I'll definitely call Mr. Noonan. He was very pleasant and informative on the phone.

The job can in on budget, the contractor came ahead of the date to make sure everything was OK and re-measure. The contractor was on time, called before he came, stayed until he finished, explained the construction, gave me do's and don'ts (cement was still drying), and called back to make sure everything was OK. While he was there he also pointed out some issues that we may want to take care of on the house (even thought he wouldn't be doing it and had no financial stake in it). It was a joy to have such professional service. It is unfortunately a rare thing these days. I wish I could hire him for a couple of months to take care of all my list of things to do.

Mr. Noonan was extremely professional-punctual and thorough. The house was screeming for much needed care-from the gutters that were growing trees to the basement that had a drainage problem. All the concerns were taken care of brilliantly in just one day--- Mr. Noonan is a one man army! We were amazed at the amount of work that was done- and Well done-- receiving a check back in the mail for some supplies that Mr. Noonan didn't need after all- was just icing on the cake- Mr. Noonan is a treasure- Book early--He is in high demand---for good reason! A+

Another excellent experience with Joe. All work was performed as agreed and looks great. I really appreciated how well he cleaned up after the job as well. I would highly recommend Joe to anyone needing these types of services. He is professional, punctual, and a pleasure to work with.

Overall it went very well, he repaired and cleaned out all the gutters, repaired some broken 2nd floor shutters, sealed some cracks in the stucco and did everything exactly as requested. I am assuming he did a good job because it has not rained since he did the work! There was a little problem with scheduling. He said that he was booked up until November! A good sign I guess. But once I explained that we couldn't wait for 60+ days to get the gutters working he moved some appointments around and got us in within 3 days.

Noonan's Handyman & Landscaping did an excellent job for us and I will highly recommend them to anyone. Mr. Noonan cleaned and refinished our deck, cleaned the gutters, cleared the debris from the gutters that landed in the yard, and on his own initiative he cleared some branches from our yard, noted other items that could use attention at some future date, and overall did an outstanding job. He charged us less than he estimated for the job, which we thought was amazing. He also was always on time in calling when he said he would call and being on time for the estimate and the work.
