+ 1 moreKing construction were professional and thorough from the first contact. They worked closely with our insurer to be sure that all damage was paid for appropriately by the insurer. Once the work started, there was good communication about when the various sub-contractors were coming. Each sub-contractor was professional, did their work well, and cleaned up well. Mr. Emmett Deavers, the project manager for King, was courteous, responsive and professional throughout. Would recommend highly.
Description of Work: King construction repaired water damage to our basement. This included dry-wall repair and wainscoting and molding replacement; replacement of a laminate floor, and painting.

+ -1 moreMr. King came out and gave me a detailed estimate. He answered all of my questions and scheduled the work. Mr. King and the workers came when they said they would. The work was performed to my satisfaction, and they were happy to answer any questions I had during the process. It could not have gone more smoothly.
Description of Work: Remove water damaged drywall, elaborate crown molding, and ceiling light fixture. Replaced drywall and crown molding. Moved and re-wired ceiling fixture. Painted walls and trim.

+ -1 moreI have used them in the past. I am very pleased with them. It is a father-son company. It was a positive experience and I will definitely recommend them. The price was reasonable. They are not the cheapest guys in town, but they do a good work. I don't mind paying a bit extra for the quality of work that they do. They do a good work and they stand behind it. They are very reliable. They are busy, but if one has got immediate needs then they will work them in. They are very professional.
Description of Work: I hired King Construction to fix the water damage from a pipe burst in the ceiling and some fencing work that fell apart due to the glaciers.

Description of Work: This individual was working with a relative of his at the time. They had a company called "Completed Services". They were nice enough, punctual and showed up when they said they would. The quality of the work was horrible. I had a tin ceiling put in and they left fingerprints all over it that oxidized. I get to replace or paint that eventually. The front porch that was put on has the floor boards running lengthwise instead of widthwise, so the water stands on it and the boards are cupping. Subcontracted the roofing job to someone who caused our roof to leak like a sieve. The drywall placed on the ceiling was glued but not screwed.

Description of Work: Acted as general contractor together w SARISAND tile to completely redo master bathroom. Did all work except tiling - electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting. Very efficient, tidy, and competent. NCE guys too.

+ 0 moreKing Construction was fantastic! They did a great job, were very responsive to any requests that I had, were prompt and always showed up when they said that they would. They kept the work area cleaned up after themselves. We had several days of rain during the time over which they worked, but they came whenever it was possible to work. I would definitely have Eddie King and King Construction to do more home contracting again, and I commend them for doing great work at my home.
Description of Work: Repaired damage to roof of screened-in porch on end of house from large tree which had fallen during a windstorm. Removed old roof shingles from entire roof and both gutters, replaced roof shingles, replaced front and back gutters, repaired damage to gable end of house, replaced screening on three sides of porch, replaced two light fixtures, painted all affected trim including soffit, vent, siding, porch and fascia. Removed all damaged material from site.
