Exceptional. We interviewed Tommy Dobson of Dobson Homes and within 10 minutes we knew he was who we wanted to build our home. His knowledge of construction techniques and costs, understanding of our vision, methods to hold subcontractors to a high standard, use of Co-Construct to document progress, attention to detail and commitment to personal involvement sold us on Dobson Homes. The process from vision to design to construction was smooth. Tommy's subcontractors performance exceeded by far our expectations. Bi-weekly site meetings made us feel fully involved and aware of schedules, problems and solutions. Dobson Homes Project Managers provided another layer of communication that was consistent, responsive and made us feel like our desires were theirs too. During construction Tommy made suggestions to improve on details that only show up when building is in progress - some items we had the option to pay for, many he did because he thought they were the right thing to do. After construction, his team responded to a few unfinished and punch list items quickly and efficiently. Our son, in the construction management business, visited recently. He told us that he walked through the house looking for poor workmanship, shortcuts in materials, poor finishing or painting - and couldn't find a single flaw. In short, we had a wonderful experience and recommend it with no hesitation or qualifications.

This experience was one of the most enjoyable of our lives. Dobson Homes cares about their customers from beginning to end, and then beyond. The truth is that they provide a service you really can’t pay for, the design of a home that exceeds your specifications and works with your lifestyle. They re honest, wonderful people, and are truly amazing !

From the very first meeting until subsequent follow up meetings after my home was completed, Dobson homes exceeded my expectations. Tommy and his entire team were professional and eager to help me every step of the way. Tommy told me at the beginning he builds houses as if he were going to personally live there?and I believe it. Tommy is a hands on builder and inspects all phases of construction, which is something that I found to be very reassuring during the build process. Many times in the construction phase, I was completely ok with the workmanship of his crews, but Tommy would find something that he felt could have been better and had the crews redo to his satisfaction. In addition to my great experience with Tommy, I enjoyed working with everyone on his team. Christine, Greg, Kerry, Pax at Floors R Us, and Gene at the Granite yard. The entire team was great! In addition to being a partner on my new home, my home I was selling needed some extensive work done per the new buyer?s inspector. Tommy quickly met me at my old home and had is team of workers perform the work at a fraction of the cost of other quotes. I had many people tell me the horror stories of building a custom home or remodel. I have to admit?I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process. If I ever decide to build another home?I am going to save a lot of time and just call Tommy at the beginning.

Tommy Dobson is a very honest man who builds a quality house. He employs only quality subcontractors who are very loyal to him. Tommy has a great eye for detail and adds many touches to make your home one of a kind. Everyone says building a custom home is very stressful. This is not the case with Dobson homes. They delivered exactly what was promised within budget. We interviewed five custom home builders in this area and believe we picked the right one. Tommy Dobson has our highest recommendation!

My wife and I are extemely pleased with the overall experience and the design and quality of the home Tommy Dobson built for us.Tommy is very concerned about detail, he has pride and integrity built into our home. He is honest straight forward, very skilled in his profession and I would recommend him to anyone wanting a custom home builder.

Tommy gave good advice and generally seemed available when we needed him. The quality of workmanship by his subcontractors was very good to excellent and he seemed to closely monitor their work. During the construction of our custom home he promptly answered our questions and often met with us at the job site. He treated all of our questions and concerns as if they were personally important to him. Tommy is ethical and honest. He earned our trust.
