+ -1 moreI switched to Dixon after our previous company kept leaving little bits of garbage in the street where our can is dumped into the truck. Dixon has been our trash/recycling hauler for 6 years now. They have always been very tidy and reliable. Last week they went "above and beyond" which is why I'm writing this review: For the past couple of months we have had a bear roaming around our neighborhood. Last week I went out to get the newspaper early in the morning and discovered the bear had dumped over our big full trash can and dragged it off into the woods. There was garbage strewn across a wide area in our front yard. I had been picking it up and getting it back in the can for a few minutes when the Dixon truck pulled up. The 2 guys in the truck got out and cheerfully spent 10 minutes picking up the garbage in our yard (and the neighbor's next door, whose can had also been dumped). Then they pulled the cans back up to the street, dumped them, and went on their way. I was so grateful for their help and their attitudes I am pleased to recommend them. Also, their service includes all sorting of recyclables, so I can throw all of my trash in our big can and the bulk of it is recycled.
Description of Work: Weekly pick up of garbage and recycling. The $85 I spend is for 3 months of service.
