+ -1 moreHe was very charming, but he did something that totally threw me off that I did not want to use him. The price was given to me by the hour and it was $45 an hour. It was probably less than the other company gave me. He started to proselytize me on religion and I was bothered. He was a very delightful man and we had a really nice time, until he brought up this about religion.
Description of Work: Dan Widmer Carpentry gave me an estimate in the beginning of February to install a new front door I bought and fix some other doors.

+ -1 moreHe was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about him. Not being able to do the job at all, he did something wonderful. He taught my husband how to do the work and he actually gave me the tools to do it. He gave us his tools so that we could get the job done on time. It was remarkable. It was like consultation and he didn't charge us anything for it. He didn't do the work for us but we couldn't have done the work without his information and his tools for sure. He left the tools with us for a month. He was amazing. He was responsive. He called me back within hours of me calling him. He was right there for appointments. He was great.

+ -1 moreHe lacks professionalism and if his weekends are so crazy he starts before Friday, then I am not sure how good his work would be.
Description of Work: I contacted the carpentar and approximately 5 business days later I received an email from him stating that he apologized for not getting back to me sooner, but he had a wild weekend.

+ 0 moreMr. Widmer cut to size a piece of a folding door. He then framed the cabinet, screwed it to the wall and hung the door.
Description of Work: Mr. Widmer made a pantry cabinet for our bathroom. Job entailed cutting door and framing.
