David Brown and team did a great job with estimating, installation and making sure everything was working properly. The units are very quiet and make the house much more comfortable. I have been very happy with the Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat even the cold 10 degree January/February 2018 winter. The 2nd story was much more comfortable this summer with the Mitsubishi units.

Couldn't recommend them more! When we purchased the house in summer of 2016 we, like most, didn't know much about the condition of our HVAC. That said, we explored a maintenance program since I'm not mechanically inclined. Our first visit uncovered the fact that the flame sensor was was not working. If it had not been fixed and the pilot light went out, propane would have continued to flow and become a life threatening situation! Since then, we've been loyal maintenance plan customers! They come out twice a year for cleaning and inspection... so far no other issues but the minimal cost has been worth the piece of mind!

Everyone who has come for service visits has been super courteous, knowledgeable, thorough. They are always on time. Amanda in the office is always helpful and friendly. We will happily keep using them.

Every person at Comfort Source, from Amanda, the Chief Administrator, to Carol and Nathan in service have been ultra accommodating. They have responded quickly with the utmost care and professionalism. I must give special kudos to Nathan, who patiently walked me through every aspect of a very complicated system. Outstanding service and communication throughout the transaction.

To set an appt, spoke with someone who said I need to talk with Shannon and he would call me back. Never did. I called back and spoke with a woman. She set me up with appointment for quote on replacing HVAC. One of the owners, came out and did the inspection. After one week, called the office to ask about quote and no reply. Emailed owner, no reply. Called office again and woman said she'd get it to me. Called one more time and promised they would send right over. I did my best but for reasons I don't understand they failed to deliver a quote. Moving onward with getting a quote from another company.

Nathan arrived on time, was very polite and explained what he was doing at every step. He advised on potential problems in the future and also replaced a capacitator which was failing. I found Nathan to be experienced, trustworthy and honest. I will use this company again

Excellent work done and completed on time. The best estimate by far among three estimates that we received, the other two from the biggest HVAC contractors in our area. This is a small company that doesn't spend money on advertising so they were able to give us a very good price for our install - thousands less than their competitors. Since they are a small company sometimes their response time was an issue, but in the end this was not a deal breaker because of the very good price we paid for our HVAC system, their excellent installation, timeliness, and professionalism.

Tech arrived early, but called first to make sure that was ok. Did the job quickly & professionally. Offered pricing and advice on additional services without any pressure. Very satisfied!

We had a fabulous experience with the guys from Comfort source. Another leading Charlottesville HVAC install company had also quoted us on a install for our new house, I'm so pleased we didn't go with them as they had quoted on a system that was 1.5 tons oversize!! Comfort Source are extremely professional in their approach, their work is meticulous and they respond immediately to calls. You cannot go wrong using these guys, that's why they are regarded as the leading HVAC company in Cville.

Their service technician, Nick, arrived on time and was very professional and courteous throughout the process. He has taken care of our equipment for the past three (3) years and always does a thorough job. Comfort Source has always been very responsive whenever I have needed their services.

See above. I was very pleased both with the responsiveness (literally a couple of hours) and the professionalism displayed. Job was completed quickly and effectively.

On the scheduled date for the work to be performed I received a call to notify me that they would not be able to service my HVAC system, because an existing customer needed emergency service. Apparently if you are not scheduled for the first appointment of the day you will receive no priority and your scheduled appointment is in flux. Considering I took the day off specifically to have this service performed I was upset and expressed my displeasure to the receptionist. She proceeded to tell me that existing customers get first priority and I can live with that being loyal to existing customers is important. What I can't deal with is the fact that she made me feel like I was a second class citizen and I am sure ownership does not want to portray that image as new business is vital to a business. I asked that the owner contact me and he promptly did. After explaining the situation and expressing my concerns he rescheduled my appointment for the first stop of the day, so there would be no possibility of a cancellation again. When the technician arrived he did the cleaning and I was satisfied with the service. At the conclusion when he was writing my invoice and providing a reccomendation to have my drain pan replaced he was shocked to hear that I wanted to use the AL coupon that was provided for a discounted tuneup. He reluctantly applied the discount and proceeded to tell me they do not typically service my area and an additional fee would be applied for any future visits. I only live 36 miles away and AL says you provide service to the surrounding counties which my location would fall under. He then advised that he would follow up with a quote to replace the drain pan. After waiting a couple months to receive the quote I called the office to inquire about why a quote was never provided. They apologized and said they would follow up with the technician and send me the quote. Once again the quote never arrived, so I called again to get a copy of my original invoice and inquire about the quote. Genna replied with the invoice attached and said "I will speak with Patrick about getting a quote to you, for repair on the drain pan". This was on 12/22/16 and needless to say I still have not received the quote. I can't imagine this is how the ownership would want there employees treating prospective new customers In conclusion the owner was very pleasant and accommodating when I spoke to him I just think they need to address how some of the employees interact with customers, because my experience was unpleasant to say the least and I will be looking for a new HVAC service provider for my next tuneup

I had a super experience with Patrick and Nick concerning failure to heat my house. The inspection/diagnosis was very complete and the explanation was language I could understand. Even more important to me was the fact that Nick gave me choices to fix the problem. When the furnace at the townhouse was not working, I didn't hesitate to call Comfort Source. Nick went to the house, troubleshooting the problems (bad fuse, bad wire, bad capacitor), fixed the problem. No waiting for days for an appointment. No one trying to up sell equipment No take-it-or-leave it diagnosis If you're looking for super service, understandable explanations, repair choices, and reasonable prices, CALL THESE GUYS.

Crew arrived early/on time - old equipment was removed and new American Standard units (heat pump and air handler) put in place in about 1 1/2 hours. The remaining work consisted of connecting major components and reconfiguring duct work in attic which, when completed took a total of about 8 hours. There was a glitch in the air handler not properly communicating with the heat pump (outside unit) causing a short cycling of the heat pump. The advanced complexity of the air handler necessitated a follow up visit the next day to resolve the issue. The technician involved was exceptional in his diagnosis and quick resolution of the short cycling. The co-owner ensured the problem was quickly remedied and the new HVAC has been working as designed and expected since then. I will say that I'm glad I chose Comfort Source to replace my ailing HVAC as their professionalism and availability before and after the job has been very reassuring. David Brown was always available to answer a multitude of questions I had leading up to the installation of the new equipment which ensured I was getting the best system for my heating/cooling needs.

I wanted to replace my 15 year old systems before they failed so I called three companies for equipment suggestions and quotes. All three companies were close enough in cost that it did not affect my decision. Where Comfort Source stood out to me was Dave's willingness to actually listen to my concerns and questions and then provide me with enough information to make a informed decision with not feeling of being pushed into any specific model or type of system. Wanting to be sure I got the best system for my needs, I dragged the process out for almost two weeks asking questions and requesting updated quotes for specific items from all three companies. Dave was always responsive and I never felt rushed into making a decision. Once the decision was made, scheduling was a breeze. I let them know what days worked best for me and they accommodated me with no problems. As for the installation, all the workers involved were outstanding examples of what a professional service technician should be. Not only did they do the work required for the job but they kept me informed of what they were doing and were willing to make small adjustments in their work flow to accommodate the needs of my family and pets. Even when I pestered them with questions, they took the time to answer my inquires without seeming to be put out by my interruptions. Needless to say, ripping out a furnace from the basement and another from the attic and cutting in a new supply and returns was a messy job even with the steps they took to minimize the problem. At the end of the first day and when finished the second day they made sure everything was as clean or cleaner than when they started. Additionally, when one of the workers saw signs of leakage from my roof he made sure to point it out to me and even went so far as to locate the entry point. While there are several top notch HVAC companies to choose from around here, I am glad I went with Comfort Source and have no reservations recommending them. To summarize, from start to finish working with Comfort Source was a pleasure and I look forward to continuing a relationship with them by bringing them back as needed for semi-annual maintenance.

Amazing. Very, very responsive, friendly, and the work was sharply performed. They left everything in terrific condition (no messes, etc.).

1. Estimate was well below competitors. 2. Installation required running a new circuit through finished basement ceiling, which was a huge hassle. All the other companies that provided estimates told me that they'd only be willing to run a circuit around the house in a big, ugly, black conduit. 3. Crew consisted of four big, strong, friendly guys. Looked like the front line of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Could have moved heaven and earth. 4. Unit functions perfectly and looks great. Installation crew was courteous and thoughtful. Based on Comfort Source's willingness to take on a challenging installation, and at a price below competitors and with a level of service that I would rank as top-notch, I can recommend this company without hesitation.

Comfort Source did work on our house as a subcontractor. They came on time and were very professional and the quality of their work was good. However, many months later we had an issue where I needed someone to come repair a minor problem that had come up. After my first message, someone called back and said they'd come look at it but I didn't hear back again. I left several more messages with the receptionist and on their voicemail over the following couple months and no one ever returned my calls.
