Russ was great--very responsive, prompt, and got the work done with great results, despite it being a bigger job than I think he originally anticipated. He also let us know if he or his colleague were held up in any way and wouldn't be making it at the scheduled time. We were very pleased with the whole process, our kitchen wall looks great, and we don't worry about that leak anymore. We've since recommended him to friends and will definitely call on Russ for other jobs in the future.

It took a couple tries to get connected to Russ, but once we did, everything went well. He came out the same day to see the job and give an estimate. He made some suggestions for making the repair go smoothly, noticed some other things and provided a fair estimate. He came first to replace a leaking hot water heater and then later to repair the drywall after serve pro had been there to remove the damage. He was on time, courteous, cleaned up, and was right on target with the estimate. I will definitely use him again in the future.

Very well. We were extremely pleased and have used Russ several more times recently. We have recommended him to several friends, all of whom have been pleased with his work.

They were just very courteous and reasonably priced.

I had several small projects to be completed. I had asked ahead of time what would be charged so I knew what to expect and was told it was an hourly rate. He was late, and ended up charging me for more than the time he was here and also charged some sort of additional fee, like a location fee, which I was never told about. When I ask someone how much a job is going to cost, I expect an honest answer that includes any and all "hidden fees." I questioned the additional fee and was told it is his standard additional fee and he said he "thought" he had told me about it - he hadn't. The quality of the work was OK and would have been worth what I thought I was going to pay - certainly not what I ended up paying. I have many more projects that I will be hiring someone for and it is unfortunate that someone would want to make a little extra money on one job and ruin future business opportunities.

Russ is great. He is knowledgeable, meticulous about his work, on time, neat, and very pleasant to deal with. He clearly takes pride in the quality of his work as does his able assistant, Lou. They are a pleasure to work with and have a solution for every problem. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would use them again without hesitation. I highly recommend Russ and Charlottesville Handyman Services, LLC.

He came on time and was done in very short order . Clean and neat and price total was actually lower than his estimate . Also gave a lot of good advice !
