Description of Work: Based on what I had read on Angie's List, I had high hopes for Chris to come to our house and move several sockets around, as several were too close to our gas burners. He came by, looked at the project, said he'd email an estimate, and then we never heard from him again. Even after two separate voice mails (in case he got our email wrong), we never heard back.

 + 1 moreHe is very, very straightforward and honest, and is extremely prompt. He is not pushy, not over priced and unassuming and does not try to sell things.
Description of Work: I used Charlottesville Electrical Solutions and he has installed ceiling fans, did the electric for the hot tubs installed and a number of things. The last time I used him to do some work was a year ago August.

Description of Work: I had a list of small electrical jobs, including fixing four outlets that were not working, installing a light fixture in a hall ceiling, and adding a new electrical outlet in the basement.

 + -1 moreExcellent! Chris is personable, easy-going, and very skilled in electrical work (member NFPA). He is relatively new to this area and is still working to get his name out to potential customers. We found him through a mutual friend, and he has always been responsive to our requests for small jobs.
Description of Work: Removed electrical panel for hot tub (spa) from neighbor's house and installed outside our residence. Salvaged the hot tub electrical wiring from neighbor's house and reused in our house, which meant a significant savings for us because of the current high cost of copper wire. Connected, tested, and confirmed that hot tub was working accurately. Previous services include installing a ceiling fan (including pulling the wiring into a room previously without a ceiling fixture), redirecting switches for a utility room light, and adding 240 volt power to an outside shed, which involved tunneling the wiring underground.
