Description of Work: Dealing with the service manager is very difficult. He will not schedule opening or closings of your pool in advance. I have to call and pick a date within a week or so to get them to come out. | |The service people who come out to do the job has been reliable through the years and are always willing to explain any questions that I may have. | |The cost of opening and closing your pool is somewhat expensive, where over the last couple of years the price has jumped.

Description of Work: They installed a new hot tub and it works fine. I had bought one from them about fifteen years ago and I was replacing it and they took the old one out and disposed it for me.

Description of Work: they were contacted to close the pool. It is very difficuly to pick a date to come out. The service manager is not willing to book in advance which makes planning very difficult. They even did not show up at all on the first date we picked. The service they provide when they get here is good. You just can't get them here!

Description of Work: Charlottesville Aquatics built and services a custom 16 x 45 concrete pool. The owner, a landscape architect, designed a beautiful pool with blue stone coping and a natural stone terrace. We could not be happier with the final product. Overall, service has been very good. The only minor concern was that management of the salt water chlorinator system took quite a bit of self study and research to get right. The automated ORP system is not reliable, but the system functions fine with the correct override settings. High quality work take time, especially custom masonry work. If a prospective owner recognizes that a high quality product takes substantial time, probably should allow 4 months from time of initial excavation, he or she will not be disappointed. The maintenance/service people are competent, but pool opening and closing services need to be scheduled well in advance due to high demand for services in May/October. My research indicates that this company is the premier custom pool builder in central Virginia. Certainly not the low cost provider, but worth the high quality.
