+ -1 moreThis updated report, replaces any and all other reports on this job. Much has changed since the first report was taken by phone by a staff member at Angie's List. The public should know what has happened. This reort was generated on June 10, 2011. The workmen did a fantastic job. (All good ratings stated above, are rates that we gave the workmen that were employed by Cedar Ridge Construction. All negative marks are due to the contractor) Worker's were very professional and courteous. Great communications with them. We would hire the workmen again if they worked as their own sub-contractors, but not anyone associated with Cedar Ridge Construction. The contractor did not finish our job. The last thing to go up was an automatic new garage door; (two car garage) which was paid for, but to date, has never been installed. Have emailed about it with the general contractor, twice. He will not answer his phone now. Haven't heard from him since. That was about 3 weeks ago and we are still waiting. One of his sub-contractors on our job, just stopped by the other day and asked if we had paid our bill on his part of our job. (Which was paid to the General Contractor) We showed him proof of payment, but he said that he was never paid for the work by the General Contractor, who owns Cedar Ridge Contsruction. The owner of this construction company is Mr. Steve Hrich.
Description of Work: An existing garage bay was turned into an HO train hobby shop. An additional two car garage was built with a walkway from the garage side door going up to the house. A breezeway with walkway was built off the new garage through an exit door going directly up to the front porch. That protects you from any nasty weather, getting into the house from you car. Very convenient and nice looking. This home's owner is John Scott Geare. I am his domestic partner and have full knowledge of all work and business dealings surrounding this job. The statements listed here, are Mr. Geare's feelings, also about this overall work project.
