Description of Work: Dryer wouldn't start. Invoice stated he repaired wiring in motor circuit. |Have no idea if this price was high for the type of job. It didn't require |much time to repair.

Description of Work: Darren came promptly to replace the solenoid valve in my dishwasher which a plumber had diagnosed was the source of leaking into a downstairs soffit and underneath the wood floor in the kitchen. Darren came the same day as called and confirmed the problem. He had the part on hand and replaced the faulty valve. He tested the dishwasher before leaving, to make sure that there was no further leaking. The second call came when our washer began heavily leaking onto the floor of the laundry room. Once again, Darren arrived the same day. He determined that the washer was unfixable, so we ordered a new one. He is honest, prompt and professional. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: Diagnosed the problem over the phone, arrived with the needed part, and fixed my dryer in less than one hour while engaging me in interesting conversation.

Description of Work: He knows how to fix appliances, but his price is a little high and his attitude is arrogant and obnoxious. We would not use him again.

Description of Work: There were 2 visits involved. First visit: everything went fine. |2nd visit: Mr Smith appeared at my back door and did not wait for me to open the door for him, but came into my kitchen without my asking him. Since he had been to my house before, Mr Smith was aware that I have a large dog who gets very upset when strangers are around and I had to rush to get the dog put up for safety. Mr Smith made a very ugly comment referencing "what he would do with a dog like that." I do not recommend him to anyone nor will I call him in the future.

Description of Work: He checked my dryer to see why it wasn't drying well and cleaned out the vent, getting a nest out of it. He could find nothing wrong with the dryer. Since the dryer continued to underperform, I later got a vent cleaner out, who said the vent was almost stopped up. He cleaned out the vent again, and the dryer worked fine.

Description of Work: Our dryer was taking a long, long time to dry our clothes. Darren diagnosed the problem as an overly long exhaust hose. He shortened the hose, reattached it, and the dryer worked just fine. He charged his minimum rate for a service visit.

Description of Work: Arrived promptly and discovered items clogging drain filter in my washing machine that I had been unable to discover. Also took a look at my fridge and answered some questions about it since the fix was so quick.

Description of Work: He inspected the washer and didn't find a problem. I know nothing about washing machines so he could have charged me hundreds of dollars to replace fictional parts instead of just charging for the service call.

Description of Work: I purchased a new washer when I moved into a house with an overhead drain. After three weeks of failing to get satisfaction from the seller and his people, Mr. Smith came, addressed the problem creatively, and at last I am catching up on the wash with no leaks.
