This project went very well. I purchased 3 hours of trim painting for $99. They contacted me immediately and sent an estimator out to look at the job within 2 days. We agreed on a contract for 4 hours. The painter arrived on time and did an excellent job. I would definitely hire Zampiello Painters to do work again.

Alberto arrived on time and did an excellent job of fixing the drywall. He was onsite about 4 hours (although I was charged an extra 1.5 hrs labor for this commute from Chantilly to Sterling). I have a couple of suggestions for the company: - Allow the customer to keep any leftover supplies that he paid for (in my case $30.58) (full disclosure: I did not ask to keep any of the leftovers.) - Use a different way to calculate the commuting cost (instead of hourly labor). I?ve had several vendors over the past couple of years who charged labor for only those hours actually onsite. Charging for the commute time only makes me want to find a painter closer to the Sterling area.

If you read the above you'll see that I was completely satisfied with Zampiello's. The quality of the work and materials were outstanding. The workers were courteous and professional. The work was completed before the projected estimate and the cost was below the projected estimate. They also completely cleaned up after themselves leaving the workplace spotless. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

Timely arrival, knowledgeable craftsman, careful attention to peculiarities of hundred year old woodwork. Excellent job.

I contact Zampiello via email to get an estimate. They responded quickly and came out to do an estimate. Scott was wonderful and pointed out what could be done for us. We had water damage from a leak and needed drywall repair in the bathroom plus we needed other wear and tear repairs. I picked my colors and asked Scott for a recommendation on the color selected for the living room. He recommended a slightly different color and I went with it. Wow! It was exactly what I wanted. The crew that came out was on time, very courteous, and did a fabulous job. I couldn't be happier with my "new house". They replaced all pop-out nails with wood screws in the ceiling (even where I didn't see any) and explained problem areas they fixed to me and how these areas shouldn't be a problem anymore. They didn't rush and made sure everything was done right. I will definitely use Zampiello again for services. Their customer service is great. Thanks for everything.

The people were great. It was just that I had high expectations. Their carpentry was disappointing. The painting was okay. There is nothing wrong with their painting. Some of the cuts were sloppy and not great. The bead board was crooked. I had to replace the section of the bead board myself. The bead board didn't seem like it was a professional made. I would use them only if the price is really good. If their price was comparable to some other firms, I would go elsewhere. They are very responsive. They came back, but they didn't do anything. From the customer service perspective, they are fine; but it is just the quality of the work I have issue with.

They were very professional and fast. The job was completed in two days in the allotted amount of time they said the job would take. When completed, the bedroom and the bathroom were beautiful! Zampiello did a magnificent job is just 2 days! We are very happy with the completed job. We highly recommend the company.

They are fantastic! They sent a great crew - 5 guys went through the house methodically. It took 6 days (Mon-Fri + Mon) to do a large 3 level (3 bedrooms townhouse). They cleaned up and left left no paint splatters anywhere. The crew were absolute professionals and a joy to deal with. They were higher end in cost, but it is well worth it to not deal with the hassle of lessor contractors and to get quality work.

Entire process from estimate to completion of all the work was awesome. The estimate was very detailed and pretty much right on. Final bill was almost exactly what the estimate was. Can't say enough good things about the guys that worked on my house. Crew was led by Roger and they did exceptional work with all the wood rot repair and painting. Professional, nice guys. Worked hard from the time they arrived each day til the end of the day. Would trust them for future projects. Highly recommend them.

They come on time, they're very courteous. They're a wonderful company, and they don't consider any job too small. They also have a very competitive price which seems very appropriate.

We have used Zampiello Paint Contractors many times in the past for both interior and exterior services, so it was an easy decision to have them come in and perform the work for our latest project. The estimate was provided quickly and easily; the service was scheduled in a timely manner; the painter showed up on-time and was courteous and professional for the duration of his efforts. The quality of their work is outstanding, and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

I requested an estimate via email and an eEstimate was scheduled over the phone. The estimator arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. The estimate arrived by email. The estimate was for labor only and stated that material costs were approximately 18-23% of the labor cost. Based on an 18% material cost the ZPCI estimate was approximately 69% higher than the contractor i ultimately decided to use.

Our entire experience with Zampiello was great. Friends had recommended them and said the quality was the best but their price was a bit higher than others. We agree totally that the quality was superb and we feel that the price is fair. Nestor, Roger, Jose, and Charlie were wonderful. They were on-time, extremely courteous, and a pleasure to have in our home. They treated our householld goods as their goods and made sure everything was well-protected and put back exactly where we wanted it. Foe example they fussed over getting an 8 foot quilt wall hanging back in exactly the right spot. The finished job looks fantastic and everybody who has seen it raves about it. We will certainly used Zampiello for our future painting needs.

Excellent work. The crew covered all the furniture and carpet with plastic. They applied repaired some nail pops on one wall and applied two coats. Clean up was excellent. We will use them again.

Zampiello is a company that goes way above and beyond. Though I've been a Zampiello customer for 20 years, I still continue to be "wow'd" by their customer service. Here's what happened most recently... I contracted with Zampiello to paint a baby nursery. After the painters arrived (on time, of course), I asked whether they could patch a couple of places and spot paint in another bedroom. The response was, Sure! When I couldn't find any paint for the repair job for the second bedroom, I called Zampiello because they have a record of every paint color they've applied in my house over the years. With pain color identified, Zampiello volunteered to go to the paint store, get the paint, and deliver it my house (all on the same day the nursery was being painted). It gets better... Zampiello did not charge me anything for painting an entire wall in the second bedroom that needed the drywall repair & touch-up. Because they could finish thebaby's nursery AND the second bedroom repair within budget number of labor hours, they charged me only for the paint. WOW SERVICE!

Their estimate was in the middle of other companies but they were available to do the work while I was away on vacation. Our foyer and family room has cathedral ceilings and we were having the ceilings painted and parts of the wall had to be repaired and patched. I would nightly recommend this company. I was called a week before the project and someone did a walk thru with me to confirm the room and work to be done with each room. I was able to give him the names of paint colors that I was thinking about using and he delivered samples to my door the next day. While on vacation I was called each day with an update. When I returned the house was freshly painted and the house was left clean as when we left it. The did a great job with cleanup.

We have used Zampiello Paint Contractors for all sorts of interior and exterior painting, drywall and rotten wood repair in the past and have always been extremely pleased with the quality of their work and their professionalism. We also used another company recommended by Angie's List and while they were less expensive the quality was not as good as we have had with Zampiello. If you are looking for a top quality painter and can accept that it is unlikely they will be the low cost estimate then this is the company I would recommend.

Technically they did what I asked - the deck was washed and sealed. It repelled water when done. My issue was prior work by another company left the deck with a terrible looking finish - the color as very patchy with stain in some area, some note, etc. When I had this contractor out for a quote (which came highly recommended by my realtor), I was very clear that I needed to do what was required to get it right. It was properly sealed but looked just as terrible when they were done. When I called to have them take another look they didn't come back out but simply told me by phone that they would take it off an use a darker stain to cover. I was fairly confident that it wouldn't help. I went with another contractor that said it would need to be sanded. and did a very nice job.

I started by working with the owner. He met with me when he said he would, took paint samples and his people returned and did quality work. I worked with them on 3-4 separate occasions. I knew I could probably get someone who would give me a lower price but was pretty certain that I would not get someone who would do a better job.

For what I wanted done I felt they were overpriced which is why I did not actually do the work. It did take them two weeks to come out and give me the estimate. They wee friendly also.

Front office staff was condescending and patronizing when asked questions. It took one month to get an estimate done, and based on a recommendation I contracted for the work. Assured the work would be done within three to four weeks, and allowing for bad weather and additional time, there was no contact from them. After inquiring when they would be showing up, we agreed on dates and times. They showed up on time and performed the work. The carpentry foreman needs some people skills. The paint foreman did not speak enough English to communicate effectively. Both crews will pack up and leave without contacting you or providing follow-up information. I had to stop them to learn of the job progress and how much time to allow the paint to dry, etc. Communication between the office staff and work crews needs improvement. This company will invoice separately for carpentry work and paint work. The reason for this has not been explained. Some improvement is needed in explaining estimates and invoices. Office staff should be made aware that what is common information to them may not be so common or understood by their customers. I am not sure I would use this company again or recommend it to others. While the work performed appears satisfactory, there is room for improvement as described above.

They did a great job. They came out and did the carpentry work first, and then we waited for the weather to warm up, and they came back out to wash the siding and deck, and then finally to do the exterior painting and deck staining. We were very pleased with the work, and their staff was very professional and friendly.

Professional from beginning to end. The work was very well done, cleaned up after themselves. Returned all phone calls in a timely manner.
