Initial estimate and promised completion timeframe over the holidays in 2008 stretched out until April 2009. The work preformed initially was so unacceptable that our bathrooms were completely redone by another subcontractor. The initial subcontractor was a convicted felon and being sued by a number of people for fraud, which we found out about after he had conned us out of an additional $1500. Total Kitchen and Bath claimed to be unaware of their subcontractor's history. To their credit, they did bring in another subcontractor to completely redo the work. Total Kitchen and Bath installed an in-line water heater that they knew nothing about. It still does not work adequately. The entire experience was a nightmare; avoid this remodeler!

The cost of the entire project was a lot more than the initial estimate they gave us. I wasn't completely happy with the quality of their services. For the amount of money I paid I felt that the finishing work could have been done a little better. If I hadn't been here everyday I probably wouldn't have received the product that I did. They ended up firing the manager of the project because he didn't handle it as well as he should have. They took care of my property for the most part. After they left, I had to do some additional repairs on my own because they weren't careful enough. However, they did show up at my home on time everyday.

We used this company to install granite countertops and a ceramic tile floor in our townhouse kitchen. What seemed to be an extremely simple and straight forward assignment turned out to be an absolute disappointment. Inept is the only fair word, that we can use to describe the individuals we dealt with, including their subcontractors. The entire job, it seemed, was one disorganized nightmare after another, and the craftsmanship was horrible at best. We are still personally repairing shortcuts, that were taken. Additionally, we placed the order for the job in March and they did not start until mid-May. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
