Description of Work: Mike did a terrific job redesigning my kitchen. He listened to what I wanted and then improved it 100%. Mike creates the plans onsite with you and makes any adjustments you request. Great and easy to work with. I'll use Model Home Look for the actual remodeling.

Description of Work: Mr. Ford came in and did everything that was promised in the deal -- measured, designed and laid out on computer a great floor plan, working with us to finesse he design to our needs. We will certainly use the firm if we decide to not do it ourselves, but we have great plans to get started either way. Mr. Ford was very friendly, professional, and responsive. Nice work.

Description of Work: They provided drawings of a potential bathroom remodel. Mike was on time and professional and I would definitely consider using them when we are ready to remodel our bathroom.

Description of Work: Mike from The Model Home Look completed a new design with renderings, recommendations and measurements for renovating our master bath. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and skilled in using the computer-based design software. He took a couple of hours with us discussing design options, current trends and cost issues. Upon completion, he emailed the design renderings and measurement to us. This was done through a promotion on Angie's List for bath/kitchen renovation design. There was absolutely no pressure to contract. Mike exhibited extensive knowledge of the bath renovation process, local resources and customs and current trends as well. I would highly recommend Mike, owner of The Model Home Look.

Description of Work: Mike sat down with me to create plans for a bathroom remodel based on using expanded space. He was knowledgeable and collaborative and did good, quick work that day. I didn't realize all the design work was going to be completed during the first and only meeting. | |I did have to remind him to send me the plans and he didn't make some typo corrections on one of the plans. I asked twice and then gave up.

Description of Work: I purchased a $99 special for a kitchen remodeling consultation. Scheduling the appointment was easy and Mike Ford came on time and spent about 2 hours measuring the space and showing me various layouts and possibilities. He listened to my concerns and addressed them. He showed me a number of kitchens he had remodeled and walked me through the planning process. He ex plained the pros and cons of various alternatives I asked about. I received a rendering as promised by email. I requested one adjustment. We agreed to schedule a visit to his offices to discuss the project further. My husband and I plan to contact him to do that.

Description of Work: Michael Ford was excellent. He came to offer suggestions of how I might update my master bath, enlarging the shower in the process. He has a sophisticated software program that enables you to see alternative layouts on the spot. I was very pleased with his ideas and will likely use his company to perform the work when I'm ready.

Description of Work: The vendor came to my home. Renderings were taken but was interrupted by calls from his office which took away from the consult. As I recall I did receive a 2nd set of drawings incorporating the comments and requests I had made at the initial meeting. There was follow up from their office checking to see that my ideas were expanded. The conversation and the drawings I received were helpful in my visualizing the project I hoped to complete.

Description of Work: I purchased the consultation and it was a terrible experience. They were very hard to schedule with and didn't always answer the phone. They tried to confirm my appointment for a different time than scheduled. They showed up late- the first time I scheduled an appointment they ran over an hour late and I had to reschedule. In addition, I did not receive the promised quote for what the design would cost and only found their completed work in my google drive. They did not contact me to tell me the designs were completed. I'm very dissatisfied and feel this was a waste of time and money.

Description of Work: I purchased a custom kitchen design plan for $100 as a special deal through Angie's List. The provider was prompt, courteous, and gave exactly what I asked for in terms of design. I'm just not ready to proceed at this point. I will definitely keep them in mind when I decide to proceed.

Description of Work: They sat with me and went through all the options real time on a laptop for designing my kitchen. The final result we loved, but the scope of work and estimate for the actual renovation was much higher than our budget allowed, so we did not schedule follow up work with them. However, this review is for the design consultation only, which I really enjoyed. I recommend them for design consultation particularly at this price point.

Description of Work: Service was for a home visit and photo realistic renderings from a professional designer. Designer spent an hour in my home offering very good suggestions for my master bath. He sent pics using a great computer program and definitely wanted to make sure I was happy. Cost of $99.00 was well worth it.
