Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal in April 2013 at $99 for a Custom Kitchen or Bathroom Design Consultation. During his visit, Mike was very professional, patient, and attentive. In addition to the kitchen, he also took the time to look at two of my bathrooms, which I was also interested in renovating. | |It appears he was very busy the day of our appointment, and arrived about an hour and a half later than the scheduled time. After 3 weeks, I followed up to ask about the status of the pending proposal. I received the proposal the next day along with a kitchen layout. The proposal came in at a price much higher that the general ballpark number we had discussed during his visit. I decided to postpone the kitchen & bath remodel for the fall of 2014.

Description of Work: Mike did a consultation for a bathroom remodel. We were very happy with the meeting. Mike listened to what we're thinking of doing in the space and made several useful suggestions. He will be sending plans based on our discussion, and we will almost surely work with this company if we decide to move ahead with the remodel.

Description of Work: The company owner visited our home; listened to our thoughts about the kitchen remodeling we wanted to undertake; shared ideas abut ways to proceed and available options; designed with our consultation onsite a draft of a plan, containing options; invited us to nvisit his showroom to view options and potential procucts; sent us by return e-mail, within a day, a ffinished draft with links to photographs of the potentially remodeled space and indicated he would make minor modifications to the plan as if requested. We provided some minor adjustments by return email and wait for a reply as well as wait for our schedules to open up to make the onsite visit. It was a thoroughly enjoyable, informative and productiive session -- well worth the Angie's Deal price.

Description of Work: Mike responded to our request for an in-home quote within 24 hours and we met with him the following day. He was very professional, listened to our ideas, and made several great suggestions to improve our plans. This is in contrast to two other contractors who took our measurements and designed the renovation exactly how we described it; without providing any advice or recommendations.

Description of Work: vendor asked for service address, which was provided twice. Ne ignored this information, and instead showed up at the Angie's List customer's address, who had purchased the service (2 bathroom designs) for her son and the vendor knew that. He did not contact my son when he made this mistake, and when my son did get in touch the vendor implied it was somehow our fault, that we did not realize he was going to the wrong address. He made no offer of redress, and we do not think we could work with someone who has poor attention to detail and poor communications

Description of Work: After signi g up for the Big Deal exchanged a couple emails with the provider to try and find time to meet and then lost touch. I found another designer.

Description of Work: Mike Ford who is the CEO of the company came and examined the work to be performed, took measuremnents of the area, surveyed the entire house and presented a computerized vision of a remodelled master bath. He and I then played with the model to make it work style wise and function. We discussed budget and process as well as timing and he explained everything in great detail. Mike is a true professional and hopefully will be able to work together on this and potentially other projects!!

Description of Work: I bought a big deal on Angie's List for the design consultation on a bathroom. Mike phoned and emailed me shortly after to follow up. He came a few days later on time and spent over an hour going over the project and looking at some more potential projects. He drew up the plans of the bathroom on site, we discussed them, and following some discussion we moved a few things around. Within 90 minutes of leaving, I had an email with the drawings. He is a pleasure to do business with.

Description of Work: After buying the Angie's List coupon for a consultation with The Model Home Look, Mike Ford called within 2 days to set up an appointment to come to my home. Mile arrived promptly and was very personable. He took measurements and we discussed several options for my master bath renovation. He drew up a plan which he e-mailed to me and gave me a ball-park figure for an estimate for what I had in mind. I haven't decided when I will do the work but will certainly call Mike when I do decide as I think he was very professional and knowledgeable about remodeling. I would not hesitate to hire his company. I can not grade his price or quality as I haven't finalized plans.

Description of Work: The Model Home Look remodeled our kitchen and three baths, including some additional work (removing wallpaper and painting) in our foyer and dining room. Mike has experience in every phase of contractor work and provided an excellent kitchen design, totally redesigning our cabinets and major appliance sites. He also provided advice on every phase of the work. His team is professional and skilled and were prompt and responsive to any concerns.
