this team is unprofessional, untrustworthy, and lacks, in my opinion, any customer service focus... Here is the whole sordid affair - Based on our original inspection, we agreed with the sellers that certain items be fixed. All signed and done. - We paid the original inspector to come out to the property and inspect it again to ensure that the items were fixed properly. Several of the items were NOT addressed at all, completely ignored. Lisa from the office was notified about these items and she assured us that they would go back out to the house and this time those items would be fixed "before closing". - At our own cost, again, we brought back our inspector to check again to make sure those missed items were addressed. AGAIN, the same items were missing and not even addressed AT ALL - again, she stated they were fixed but it was flat out untrue. I asked to speak to Bill Davis but was told he was "out of town". - We demanded an immediate meeting at the office. During this meeting, we were told "i never saw any of the pictures in the inspection report" and that there had been apparent "miscommunication" between her and the contractor. Really? We gave her pictures, photos, explanation, and even circled the locations of the issues in the photos so that there would be no confusion this time - I went to the house after Lisa sent pictures showing the items had been fixed. I became concerned when I studied the pictures, noticing that they areas they said were fixed weren't even the areas where the problems were! Sure enough, NONE of the items were fixed AGAIN after the third time AND a face to face meeting. This is completely unacceptable. We gave detailed instructions on what needs to be fixed, and these items remain broken after THREE separate supposed "visits" to the house; not to mention that the proof pictures are not even of the areas where the issues reside. This, apparently, is what this office deems "professional conduct". I demanded that Bill Davis get involved personally to work with us, and the response (for the second time) was "he's out of town" and we were forced to deal with the same resource. I cannot honestly understand why people do business this way.
Description of Work: this real estate team was the team for the seller when we purchased our house in June of 2013

We were not happy with the overall professionalism and service level Thought we were getting a team, but turned out to be really only getting the individual agent.

This was our second time working with Betsy Hudson, this time on a listing as opposed to buying. Short-sale properties are a long process, and a lot of work. While we know that the commission would hardly meet the effort required in closing this property Betsy agreed to do it for us. There are a lot of complications when it comes to selling a property in this manner. We were very focused on trying to maintain our credit, and attempting to keep from foreclosing on this home. Betsy helped us through all of the detailed nuances of this process, and we came out on the other side extremely relieved and satisfied that she was able to help us. I know several other people who have tried this process on their own and with other realtor's and have not fared nearly as well as us. We are so fortunate to have met Betsy, and again we have most definitely found a realtor for life.

If you want to do most of the work of For-Sale-By-Owner, but still pay the outrageous agent fees, then this is your team. The brochures were not nearly as slick as promised and embarrassingly full of typos until we proof-read and corrected them all. The on-line info had numerous errors. The MLS listing was NOT an inviting description until we re-wrote it. We had to beg for months for signs on the main streets. We had to beg for open houses and they were only reluctantly given. Bill was nowhere to be found (including when we finally got an offer: "I" had to e-mail back and forth the counter/offers), and the lackey assigned to us was always very put out when we asked for anything (like more brochures when we ran out). Their answer to everything was to throw more money at more renovations. In short, we believe they only know how to sell in a hot market when houses sell themselves. You can find much better. They were not worth anything near what we paid them. You d be much better off FSBO.
Description of Work: We hired Bill s team to sell our house. He promised us slick color brochures, signs, open houses, excellent service, great negotiation skills, a great team, on-line information, the works. We were under no delusions we understood the selling market was very bad. But Bill convinced us that in this market, we had to use a great selling agent with a lot of experience. We thought we were hiring Bill Davis, but instead we got handed off to a lackey with little experience. And even though we had done amazing things to the house, he insisted that we had to pump thousands more into it.
