Spring-Green Lawn Care

I hired them for the season covering 7 applications. They came out as promised...the tech was respectful and very polite and listened to me. The lady at the sales office was professional, it seems like a well-run company.

Not started yet. The response and handling of the contracct was supeerb. and right to the dot. Very courteous AND DOWN TO THE WEXCRIIATING DETAILS. iMPRESSE!

All work was satisfactory. One time it was noted the lawn might have a disease problem, without recommending a treatment. I would prefer that identified problems be accompanied with a recommended treatment.

I was very impressed with the gentleman that came out. The time he spent, the way he answered my questions. The assessment of my lawn so I have hired them. They were promptly responsive when I called them and they came out right away to give me an estimate. And their pricing was very competitive, it was good. I don’t have any recommendation on what they can do to improve because they are pretty good.

Since buying our home two years ago, we have contracted with Spring-Green to provide annual care to our large lawn. I can't say enough about Spring-Green's knowledge, responsiveness, and care. Each service is provided with a note left on our door, detailing exactly what was done and any suggestions or needs for the yard. Any needed re-sprays for weeds are included at no extra charge. All it takes is a simple e-mail or phone call to Spring-Green. Along those lines, Debbie has been fantastic in communicating services, answering questions, and relaying lawn knowledge. I can count on Debbie to return e-mails very quickly and with loads of useful information, and she is able to schedule any needed services quickly. To top it off, Spring-Green charges less than most of the larger lawn care companies, and I feel the service is better and more personable. Our lawn is green and happy, and I am confident it will remain so with Spring-Green's help.

I have been using Spring Green on an annual contract for many years, and will continue to renew my contract because I receive consistently excellent, professional service. My lawn is the nicest in the neighborhood and several neighbors and family members in the area have signed on. The owner, Charlie, responds personally if any issues arise and his office manager, Debbie, is knowledgeable and very friendly. Price of service is at or below competitors' prices and their quality of work is far better.

Told the gal that I wanted to speak w/the owner, as supposedly he made things happen and had a fine reputation, etc. She stated she WAS the owner's wife, and that he would have no time to talk w/me about my concerns, etc.! She was very rude, and I basically told her that she isn't do Charlie any favors....she is hurting his business by her poor attitude, etc. She was very indignant and obnoxious! Unbelievable that such a person is in a customer contact role!

We don't even know they are there, we come back and there is a flag in our yard. I have been using them for about a year.

Care-free service, we signed a one year contract.

This is the second year we’ve used Spring Green and the lawn looks pretty good. I noticed some weeds gaining ground in the yard and when I got a company customer satisfaction survey email I mentioned the weeds. (Note I would never post a complaint on a semi-public website (i.e. Angie’s List) without giving the company a chance to remedy the issue.) I received a call the very next day from the owner (Charlie) stating he was sorry about the weeds and would be sending someone out within a week to spray (at no additional cost, of course). Less than a week later, they were here spraying the weeds. Now it’s too early to see how effective the treatment was but I was just impressed with the personalized customer service that so many claim to have but few actually follow through. Spring Green DOES!

I've had them much longer than I have had Angie's List. They come every month. I pay it yearly and it is about $400 a year. I have recommended them to others. They come back out if you have any problems. If they come out and you have weeds again then you can call them any time and they will come out. Sometimes I see the workers and sometimes I don't. If I am not home when they do it they just leave a little sign, but they are respectful when I am here.

Been with Spring Green for two months. Very happy with service. Glad to be supporting a local smaller business. They treat you like a valued customer, not a number. I have called to ask for another application and they arrived two days later. Amazing!!

This is the third year I've used them.

Everything went great. Technician was on time and very professional. I have a new construction house with some sodded areas and some seeded. My technician, Jaime, used different products for each area to facilitate germination of seeded area and prevent crabgrass in sodded area. Jaime used a very efficient gas powered spreader that I had never seen other service providers use.

I've used perhaps 4 other lawn services over the past 10 years, some so horrible (True Green) I really shouldn't count them. My last company had to scale back their coverage area so found myself shopping around yet again. I'm finishing my first year w/ Spring Green now. This company is actually a little less expensive than most I've worked with and offered fewer visits to my house throughout the season as a result. I have extensive planting on my property so this was an initial concern for me. Oh well, I was told I could back out of my contract if dissatisfied so might as well give them a try. I am very pleased! My yard looks better then it has in a few years now. They call the day before they treat so I can look around my yard for concerns I might have (all companies agree to do this but few ever do). Also, although they came less frequently, for the VERY FIRST TIME since living here, I wasn't overrun w/ fungus, aphids, scale, etc?. It appeared that their treatments actually were effective :-) This company has a small company feel and I really like that. They're very polite and return calls in a timely manner. Yes, I'll be renewing my contract with SPRING GREEN this next year!!!

I contacted them via an Angies List deal and even though what i wanted wasn't exactly in their wheelhouse they agreed to the advertised price. Services were provided as expected and my lawn definitely thickened up over the fall and winter months. I would repeat.

I'm very happy with them. I contract with them on a yearly bases. They haven't screwed up like the others.

Beginning the second year of annual lawn treatments. Started late spring 2014 and had a noticeable improvement. Hopefully this year the lawn will be better. They are punctual, call the day before service, and leave notice of service with any instructions/warnings. Any calls are answered or returned promptly. I would recommend this company.

I have been using their services for a year. Our lawn looks the best it ever has! They are very reasonably priced and they are a very easy company to work with. They are very professional and are able to come and go when they say they will.

I have a fantastic experience with them. They are responsive, When I call them if I need something they come immediately and fix it. I called them once and explained things to me. My yard looks awesome.

I complained about weeds still existing after the third treatment. They were very responsive in followup care. After they aerated and seeded the lawn really started to show the care. Neighbors have complemented us on how good it looks. We will continue to use their service next year.

I have been happy thus far and will likely sign up again in 2015. The call the day before they visit, and nobody is required to be home for their visit. Their price seems very reasonable compared to other lawn services.

We've used them this past 3 years. I had a good experience with them. The lawn looks a lot better than it did when they first started. The weeds are down and the grass is green. They were very responsive.

I actually signed a contract for annual service. So far, I am very pleased with their work. They had good reviews on Angie's List so I decided to try them out and ended up getting great service!

This spring we noticed that our lawn, which was beautifully green two years ago now had brown spots, and bare spots. We asked Spring Green to come out and look at the lawn and give us an estimate. Both Charlie and Debbie Marshall are the epitome of professional conduct. We had one minor issue with the service, and both were apologetic, and took responsibility, and that alone is enough to make me a give them a solid A for professionalism and responsiveness. Frank, the technician who comes out to our property, is very knowledgeable about the care and feeding of lawns, and had recommendations for various parts of the lawn based on what he perceived to be the problem. For example, I had always thought that our back yard was somewhat bare due to all the trees and their shade, however he showed me that it's the tree roots competing for water and nutrients that dries out the soil (both of water and nutrients) that was reducing the grass coverage, and he had advice on how to deal with that. Frank also turned our brown-spotted lawn into a beautiful, green, lawn. Even fuller and healthier than it was two years ago, when we thought it was at it's peak. So, needless to say, I have no problem taking his advice. There are no high-pressure sales tactics, and it seems like there are a lot of available (included) options in their annual service contract. We did sign an annual contract, and look forward to having Spring Green continue to service our lawn in the future.
