Description of Work: Everything was great. We "inherited" a sectional couch and it really needed cleaning. Smart Choice was able to get most of the stains out and the odor of smoke.

Description of Work: Area covered by the promotion price of $149 valued at $400 barely covered the basement area and estimated over $400 would be required to clean the carpet for whole house. Another provider obtained $130 for high quality cleaning of the remainder that more than doubles the carpet size that SmartChoice cleaned for its deceptive promotion value.

Description of Work: Cleaned carpets. The size house was larger than the deal was offered at. We added a few extras also at good price. Prompt and did a nice job. I asked to redo a high traffic area and they immediately did extra effort to finish. I will use again.

Description of Work: This is a review of the quality of the cleaning and should not be taken as a personal insult towards the service providers.... |But I didn't feel like this was much of a discount ($200 for 2 hours for 2 cleaners) because the house was simply not cleaned well. It should have been very doable to clean a 350 sq. foot 1 bedroom apartment well in 2 hours. I specifically requested that they clean the floors (wood and rugs) well if they had to choose, as well as the dust and dirt around the window sills. Afterwards, the rugs still had lots of hair clinging to them, which, based on my experience using a vacuum cleaner, may have been the result of some hasty vacuuming. The blinds on the windows looked semi-dusted, but the dirt and smudges around the windows and on the glass was visible. |All in all, kind of upset that the house-cleaning, the reason why I joined Angie's List, ended up being so poor. I would have been better off asking people I know, rather than the virtual Angie's List community, to recommend service providers in my price range. That may have produced better results since the Angie's List cleaning is basically a one-off thing.

Description of Work: They were supposed to be at my home at 9am to complete two hours of cleaning. They were nearly 45 min late and my house felt dirtier and stickier than before.
