I called the company to inquire about cleaning three dining room chairs. The person I spoke with was very nice and inquired if there was anything else that I would like cleaned because just the chairs alone was considered a rather small job. I then included a small sofa that had not been cleaned since we got it several years ago and thought it could use some freshening up. The person on the phone said he had an opening the very next day and gave me a two hour time frame, between 10:00 and 12:00. At around 9:30 the crew called and said they were on their way. At exactly 10:00 they arrived. They asked if I had a preference on what I wanted cleaned first. A nice little touch that I noticed was that they used plastic corner protectors so that the hoses would not rub on the wall corners. They basically looked like square orange cones cut in half, nice touch. While one person was cleaning the sofa, the other person was cleaning the throw pillows. They then moved on to the dining room chairs and cleaned them as thoroughly as possible. The chairs afterwards looked so much better and only one of the chairs they were not able to get all of one stain out. It was likely because it was set in too long. Both men were very professional and courteous. When finished the price paid was exactly what I was quoted. They also informed me of other services they provide such as whole house cleaning when people are getting ready to move. I would certainly recommend them for their cleaning services.

It was okay, it was a pretty average cleaning. They were responsive and punctual for the appointment.

I had to reschedule because there was confusion about how I was going to get charged. Otherwise, service was great and they did a great job. I also didn't have to let them in myself. I gave them the code to my key box and there were no issues.

They arrived more than an hour late as they were coming from MD to VA on 495 on a Friday afternoon - not good planning on company's part. Send crews from same area. Did a good job, listened to directions, and worked quickly and effieciently. Price was excellent.

We had had our house painted and the painters left our house a mess. Every inch of our house was covered with dust. It would have taken my wife and I a whole weekend to clean and they did it in 3 hours! Excellent attention to detail. Bathrooms looked great too. We used them again after having a huge amount of company in April. Will use them again for Spring and Fall cleaning.

Overall they were very professional and did a good job, but the carpet took a little longer to dry than what they said. Besides that, we found them to be professional, punctual, and would use them again.

They were great. I would recommend them to anybody. It was part of the Big Deal offer. The price wasn’t a lot. They were very professional. They were in and out in a reasonable amount of time. They were nice people. I would use them again in the future.

I was generally pleased with the service. Maids were nice but spoke no English - luckily I knew some Spanish (enough to communicate where I wanted extra emphasis). Price was great! The maids were fast and efficient and helped me move my boxes out of the way so they could clean the baseboards. My only reticence is that there were a couple of spots on the baseboards where I had to ask them to scrub a little harder to clean, and a couple of places in the tub area (grout) still had some minor mildew stains. Hard to clean, I know, but I figured that's what I was paying for. Didn't realize it until after they'd left. Not a big enough deal to call them back to finish.

I spoke with the customer representative to schedule an appointment. He was professional and gave me a pricing quote and outlined all the services that are included in the pricing. On the day of the appointment, the contractor came. At first there was some confusion with pricing, but we were able to sort that out. Other than that, they did a very satisfactory job with cleaning all the carpets and were not pushy with any extra services / charges. I will most likely be using them again.

They are coming tomorrow. They charged me $140 for the last service. The last service went very well. They do it in well under two hours. They are efficient and they leave everything very clean. They are very thorough and friendly. They speak English, which is very good and that is something that you have to be aware of. So, you can communicate very easily with them. They are less expensive than some major chains. I used some major chains 5 years ago and they were much more expensive than this group. These people are less expensive now too. They are good and responsive.

They did a good job. They came on time. They did what i asked them to do. They were nice and polite.

Company provided a quote over the phone which turned out to be the final price I paid! They were very helpful over the phone, very accomodating when setting a time for the actual cleaning, called to let us know they were on their way and arrived promptly as scheduled. The owner walked through my house with me asking if I had any particular concerns regarding stains, furniture movement during cleaning, instructions regarding post cleaning, etc. He and his team proceeded to clean the carpets - living, dining, hallways, stairs, bedrooms, etc. He brought me in during the cleaning just to spot check and validate that I was happy with how things were going - YES! At the end of the cleaning, he provided some paper slippers to cover my shoes so that I could walk through and check on all the results - it looked and smelled wonderful! All stains (cat hairball incidents mostly) were removed and have stayed gone - now 3 weeks later. The company performed extremely well and I will definitely use them again!

I found Smart Choice cleaning on Angies List and called to start housekeeping services. Based on the size of my home, they quoted me an initial housecleaning fee of $200 and maintenance housekeeping every two weeks for $150. The initial housekeeping was very thorough, to include cleaning our master bathroom shower which they were able to get cleaner than I had been able to since it had been installed. A crew of three finished my entire house in 2 hours (what would normally take us 6 or 7 hours). I was thrilled with the results and asked them to start maintenance housekeeping. Based on this experience with Smart Choice, I requested Smart Choice clean my carpets as well. They were able to get a small black shoe polish stain (about the size of a dime) out of our white carpets and also clean pet stains. I will definitely call them back for our next carpet cleaning. Two of the three levels of our home and two sets of stairs have white carpet. They cleaned and sprayed protectant, charging us approximately $400 (about $265 for cleaning and $135 for protectant).

Starting with the first contact, the service was very professional. The housekeepers were always punctual and very professional. They did a thorough job on my apartment even though I am not a regular customer (I started the service using the Angie's List deal but have continued ordering additional ad hoc cleanings). The crews that were sent were always focused on getting the job done efficiently and thoroughly, minimizing my inconvenience while ensuring I had an apartment that I could show off to friends and family.

The two cleaning people arrived on time and worked quickly since they had only 2 hours to perform their services. They said it took them 2 hours because they did a first visit deep cleaning. I can say they performed their tasks efficiently.

John responded right away, and scheduled an appointment to do the estimate. He was punctual and courteous. During the estimation process, I noticed that John did pricing almost arbitrary (from the top of his head) and very fast. I was a bit surprised by the lack of thoughtfulness and some sort of reasonable analysis (e.g. comprables, sq ft. etc), but did not make much of it at the time. However, my gut feeling was telling me that something was not right. Fortunately, we did several bids. It is a good that we did not hire this company, since his estimate was off the chart than anybody else. For example, they almost wanted to charge double for waxing and buffing than what was quoted from one highly reputable company in this business. We will not call them for any services in the future, since if they can not do the honest bid or pay attention to customer needs, how they can do anything else….

I signed up for 4 man-hours of cleaning through an Angie's List Big Deal, so it was half-price. Despite being out of their service area, they accomodated me. They did a fabulous job and got more done then I expected. They also used eco-friendly cleaning supplies. The fumes from regular commercial cleaners give me headaches, but the smell of the house when they left was very pleasant. If they add where I live to their service area I will definitely hire them again.

They came on time and didn't take more than 2.5hours to clean a large single family home.

The housecleaners were great. They did move-out clean on a 2 story, 4 bedroom house, and for the most part did a fine job. It was certainly clean enough for average situations. However, they did not clean the inside of the range hood, and our rental agency was very unhappy about that, so I hope it doesnt end up costing me some of my rental deposit - I'll find out. Also, the wood floors were lightly mopped, but I could see it was done really fast and it wasnt clean enough for me personally. However, again, it was not a knit-picky situation, and overall I am satisfied with the cleaning. The carpet cleaners did all of upstairs, the stairs, and a small livingroom carpet downstairs. The upstairs looked fine (when wet) and it looked like several small pet spots came out nicely. However, downstairs there was a stain from the lounge chair leg that looked like furniture dye. The carpet guy told me that it would cost me additional $20 for him to work on that stain, as it would take extra time. I thought this was tacky, since I had asked the owner on the phone if they were good at getting out stains. He had assured me they were, but never said there were extra charges for working on them. Anyway, I told the carpet cleaner I'd pay the extra $20 if he got the stain out, but not if he didn't. He agreed, but spent only a few minutes trying, then gave up. I felt he may have just wanted to go on to the next job or something. So, I may end up paying for a new carpet. I felt Smart Choice guys didnt really want to try getting it out. I felt like it was just "rush in, rush out" and with all the other carpet cleaners out there, I would try others in the future instead of using Smart Choice again. They didn NOT go the extra mile, or even half mile, in my opinion.

They have been over twice and the work has been completed to my satisfaction.
