Very good. I cold not be present so I left them a key and I checked on the service later. Everything was fine and passed Landlord inspection. They left booties behind so we could perform the inspection without runing the job they had just done.

Best service I've found to date. Did a great job for a final out cleaning. Extremely professional, only critique is that they arrived 30 minutes early. Not a huge inconvenience. I will use them again as a landlord in the future and request on my rental agreement for my tenants to do so. The price I have listed as a B b/c I find the current rates to be outrageous but I cannot find anything better either.

I received a confirmation call the day before. The team called before they came; they were right on time. They did a great job, even on old grout. I even got an estimate for carpet cleaning. I was very impressed with their professionalism and politeness.

I purchased the $159 "deal" on Angie's list for the 4 man hours of cleaning and thought if additional time was needed to clean, that it would be done. The ladies that arrived were very polite and professional but they were on the 2 hour limit from the time of arrival. The work was good, but seemed rushed. They left some cleaning supplies and garbage at the front door as they departed right on time.

They did a good job. I could tell they were not thrilled with being in my very messy house (I had been sick and unable to keep up, which was the reason for my hiring them for help). They took pictures and made me feel uncomfortable. Overall, the job was done well. Their boss came and quoted me a price for biweekly service. He was very nice.

It went great! They called 30 minutes before arrival, and were near the front end of their original time window. They had a team of two, one of which was a native English speaker so there were no language issues. They cleaned the inside of the fridge, cabinets, and stove... bathroom vent fans... all the details. Placed looked great afterwards! Highly recommend... hard to find good companies, and it won't be a great experience EVERY time. But just gotta keep trying until find one that works well and keep with them until it doesn't work well. I'll be using these guys next time I need a place cleaned, maybe even for more routine cleaning and not just move-outs.

The technican arrived on time, was very thorough in his explanation of the process, and was very personable. I was surprised by how quickly he was able to clean the couch (including all of the throw pillows), but there was not sacrifice in quality. I would definitely use this service again.

When I called to schedule service, I saw the deal for 4 man-hours of work for $159. Knowing that I had a lot of space in my home, and that it couldn't all possibly be covered in 4 man hours, I specifically asked if I could have the cleaners target areas of my selection. Specifically, I just wanted the master bath, guest bath, half bath, and kitchen cleaned. And if there was any time left over in the 2hrs, I would like some vacuuming. I was told that while Smart Choice did an exhaustive cleaning on the first service, I could definitely let the maids know what to target so that I was satisfied. Between the $159 and tip, I knew that it was the upper limits of what I wanted to spend, and really just wanted certain problem areas targeted and I could take care of the rest. When I booked, they said there was a 2 hour window in which they would call me to let me know they were 30 minutes away. Fine, whatever. My window was from 12-2, and of course, at 1:30 on the dot came their call. I know it's better than them saying "hey, we will come at any time between 8-5, be home or we won't service your house," but still. They showed up, and were friendly enough, and I led them through the areas that I specifically wanted cleaned. They decided to begin on the top floor and work their way down, and I went downstairs to let them do their work. One hour passed...one hour fifteen minutes...and I began to wonder how a) it took two people an hour and fifteen minutes to do 2 bathrooms, and b) how they planned to get a kitchen and half bath done in 45 minutes. One of the ladies came down and asked my husband to help her because she had inadvertantly disarmed the fire smoke detector while dusting. The smoke detector that is in my hallway, nowhere near either bathroom. I get it-you want to do a thorough cleaning on the first job, and it doesn't hurt that more time brings Smart Choice more $$$ in the process. But when I specifically state what I want cleaned both on my initial call AND when you arrive, doesn't that mean anything??? It's not like I was giving you a guided tour of my bathrooms because I thought you were a camera crew for "Cribs!" I went upstairs and explained for the third time exactly what I wanted done. Yes, they were apologetic and within 10 or so minutes began cleaning the kitchen. But come on...this is NOT what I expect from any cleaning service, much less one I find from Angie's List. So they get to the kitchen, and their manager calls and asks if we will approve an extra half hour of service. What am I supposed to do, let them leave with a halfway clean kitchen? Of course I have to approve it. And the kicker....if you want to complain about me, fine, but at least have the courtesy to do it once you're INSIDE your vehicle and not standing directly outside my door where I (and all my neighbors) can hear you. What they did spend their time doing, they did well. My bedroom looks lovely. It's dusted, the bed was made beautifully, I guess the hallway is dusted based on the smoke detector issue...and the bathrooms are all clean, and my kitchen looks nice. But it darn well better, considering I spent 237 bucks for you to do 2.5 hours of work, half of which I never asked you to do in the first place. So, maybe they think they are going above and beyond what is asked of them, but at an hourly rate ($95 per additional hour), buyer beware. I will be moving this summer, and Smart Choice will not be invited back to do my moving out service. UPDATE (4/3/12): The owner, John, called me after reading my subpar review, and wanted to assure me that he would do what it took to ensure that I was satisfied with the service I received. He offered to refund me for the extra time the maids spent as a result of not doing the focused cleaning I asked for, as well as an offer for a free room of carpet cleaning. My opinion of Smart Choice has definitely been raised, and I will invite them to come again to clean my home prior to moveout.

This was my first time using a Cleaning service. So, I had may have higher expectations than the service provided by such companies. Company personnel were friendly and professional. I was some what happy with the service provided. Although with a crew of three service cleaning professionals I thought things should have gone faster and more detailed. I used the service for four bi weekly cleanings. I felt the jobs performed were adequate to above average. I was not happy with the time constraints given to me by the company. They gave me a three hour window for the crew to show up. The crew showed up closer to end of the time frame given. As I scheduled on a Saturday, half my day was set aside to await the crew to show up. I know most people just leave a key for the crew to come in and clean, I was not comfortable in doing that. I think the company should hire more staff as they get backed up a lot it seems. Which maybe a good sign that the company is good with customers.

I thought the service was very good. Was a bit disturbed that my service time-frame was from noon until 2:00 and I had to call them at 2:00 because the crew had not called to say they were 30 minutes away. I am a big fan of punctuality so that counts huge for me. The crew was extremely thorough and professional. They are bit too expensive for bi-weekly cleaning, but I would use them again in the future - just not bi-weekly.

My wife and I only wanted some additional help in upkeep of the home during a busy time for us, and we wanted it with a company and people we trusted. We had used Smart Choice previous with Move-In and Move-Out cleanings so we knew the level of service to expect. We were only looking to get help with the bathrooms and kitchen, but Smart Choice has a minimum of 3 cleanrs for 1.5 hours. We opted to start with those locations and do anything else to meet the 1.5 hours requirement. Their cleaners do an amazing job and are incredibly fast about it. They did much more than I was expecting with the time frame and we were glad to have the home freshed up like it was. They bring their own supplies and equipment and used green/eco-friendly products per our request. Not everyone is a native English speaker, but there has always been at least one person who was in order to coordinate and lead the job.

They were very helpful in scheduling their services on the particular day I asked. We were working around painters and movers and carpet cleaners. They arrived promptly, worked efficiently and charged me the price that was quoted. I am not sure of the exact price, but it seemed reasonable for our 2700 square foot, 4 bathroom townhouse.

I bought a $150 deal through Angie's List for a couch and a loveseat. When I called Smart Choice, they were able to substitute a loveseat for two chairs and scheduled me for the next day. I wasn't home for the actual cleaning, but the result was clear - the couch and the chairs look clean. I have previously used other services and cleaned the couch myself, which resulted in water stains and other stains. Now the upholstery looks clean and smooth - no stains. The customer service was great. I got a phone call the next day to see whether I was pleased with the cleaning service and the results.

My home needed deep cleaning so I hired them for 6 hours work. There was problem with scheduling--they didn't show up the time we had scheduled so the supervisor made good on his commitment and located a crew at the last miniute to clean my house that day. I was impressed with that. The cleaning was very good. There seemed to be a small dishonesty from the crew that makes me feel uncomfortable about having them return. A small knob fell off a handle in my bathroom sink. I had seen it on the sink immediately before the cleaning crew came. When I noticed it wasn't there while the crew was still there I asked about it. The head of the crew pulled out a photo she had taken saying it was not on the sink so she took a photo that she had sent to her boss already. She said the small piece was missing from the sink when they arrived, which I know is not true. I assumed it must have been swept up by accident so I spent at least 20 mintues going through every bit of trash. I speculate the small piece fell down the drain in the bathroom. All this would have been OK if they just had told me. I get accidents happen. I otherwise liked their service but feel uncomfortable bringing people into my house I distrust.

I moved out of my two bedroom condo in Rosslyn, of which I lived for about 6 years. The previous renters did not have the place professionally cleaned after they moved out, so it was at least a decade before the place had a thorough cleaning. Four ladies arrived on time to do the job. They were originally only scheduled for 2 hours of work, but they wanted to do a great job include in more of the things I asked them to specifically do. In the end they took 3.5 hours but they did an incredible job. Luckily, I'm proficient in Spanish that i was able to communicate well enough with them to understand what I needed done. After they finished cleaning, they ask you to walk through and check their work to make sure they did a good job. I was very happy with the job they performed. The steam cleaners were also on time and did a wonderful job cleaning. The carpets definitely needed to be completely changed and they did what they could, but there were too many stains for any professional to get out. They were friendly and worked very quickly. For such a nasty carpet, they made that carpet look decent. I would definitely use this company again.

People were very nice and friendly, however, hardly spoke English. Communication was difficult. It seemed as though one or two of the maids were receiving on-site training. Most of the time was unnecessarily spent in my small bathroom (with two maids) trying to clean out a mold stain in the bathtub that I said was to be left alone, as I couldn't get it out for over a year and I was going to replace the grout. That was a waste of time. I found one maid in the dining room which I didn't ask to be cleaned. She seemed surprised when I walked in and said that she was dusting the hutch and then sat to rest. There was still dust on the left side. I noticed that something seemed different inside the hutch (behind glass doors), but I didn't say anything. I later found out, but I think that it's not worth bothering with. The kitchen wasn't cleaned, although I asked that it be done (floor washed). I asked that the carpet in the family room be washed, and it was, except under the couch. I had wanted the walls in the hallway scrubbed down, and they weren't. Overall, the rooms were cleaner, but not thorough - I still found dog hair in the living room and in a bedroom, and the kitchen (mentioned above) didn't get done. Next time, I'll do it myself. The couches did get vacuumed, and that was good.

Great experience from scheduling to the technicians arriving on time, being very polite and professional. Floors look great for a very good price. I highly recommend.

I needed a move-out clean and knew I would not be at home to meet the cleaners. When I got home to check on the work I found that they left the place sparkling clean - almost as if no one had ever lived there. Grade A service at a great price!

Excellent price and good work. The cleaning was good, not the best I've ever seen, but good.

They were professional, on time and did a great job!

First time they cleaned our home - the big deal - they did a decent job. Then the quality fluctuated over time with the last time being not very good. They sent different people all the time. Some employees are nicer than others, some clean better than others. We had to worry about them letting our dog out, because they left open the doors and baby gates even though we asked them to be careful to keep everything closed. The bath tub always still had mold and things got missed when dusting. They never put things back in the place where they found them. The last time the lead person was slightly mouthy, the others as usual were polite but minimal english. With the last time, the cleaning was bad enough for me to think it was time to move on.

They are great, the only carpet and furniture cleaners to call...

I was able to make an appointment for service quickly. The three women doing the cleaning arrived on time, were very professional and did an excellent job. It's so nice to have a clean house again. They're a little bit pricey, but well worth it. I would definitely recommend them and intend on using them again myself.

The move out cleaning portion of this was an absolute disaster. They called and said they would be there in 30 minutes...an hour later were still not there. When they were done it was clear the shower had been rinsed, but not scrubbed, none of the chrome in the bathrooms or kitchen were shined, there were finger prints on the mirrors, the ceiling fan wasn't dusted, and the vent was taken down in one of the bathrooms and left on the counter. The carpet cleaning portion of this was somewhat better although they broke the plate on the cable outlet and didn't call their office or me to tell us. I hired this group based on Angie's list reports and have to say I have no idea how these people could possibly be rated so highly. When I brought the issues to the attention of the management I was refunded $57 dollars...out of $350...and got the pleasure of having to spend two days cleaning the unit myself.

They arrived on time and did not stop till the job was complete.
