We hired Sky to remodel our kitchen, half bath, and full bath upstairs in addition to refinishing our hardwood floors and stairs. Sky’s fieldwork was great quality and they protected areas not under construction with plastic. At the end of the day customer service was good but could have been improved on as far as communication goes. They have come back twice for warranty items and everytbing was taken care of no problem. I recommend the sky team for any home project.

The crews who work for James Park, Sky Construction, Inc., do superior work, protected our floors during the renovation, are very attentive to customer wishes, are friendly, and work very efficiently. They also clean up the work area. James, as the leader of this company, is a pleasure to work with. He provided an array of possible materials for our project, let us know when the work crews would arrive, and visited the work site several times to see that we were satisfied. It was overall a great experience and we love our new kitchen.

My husband and I recently contracted Sky Construction for a huge undertaking - to completely gut and update both our Kitchen and Full Basement. We cannot be more pleased with the finished product. As with any major project there are always delays and unforeseen expenses, but there was always a steady open line of communication. Sky also worked with us when additional expenses arose and were fair and honest throughout the project. James and his team were professional and knowledgeable - we would definitely recommend James and Sky Construction to anyone looking to complete household renovations or updates.

It took a bit longer to complete than expected. The workers were very professional but some were not consistent in the hours therefore the delay. James was great--very involved and kept me pretty informed as the work progressed. Nice finished product.

From November 2014 thru March 2015, I contracted with Sky Construction, Inc. to make the following improvements at my primary residence, a single family detached home: 1. Single floor addition in the back of the house (11' X 13'). Includes high ceilings, skylights, four windows, ceiling fan, recessed lighting, crawl space with basement access, heating/cooling duct under floor, electrical outlets, new electrical subpanel, permitting, architect. 2. Knock down two walls on main level to create open concept. Moved kitchen from middle of living area to one end. Includes new granite, new maple cabinets, new plumbing and electrical. 3. New hardwood flooring throughout main level, staircase, and entrance area. 4. Completely remodeled master bathroom. Includes new shower stall to replace old shower/tub combination, new maple vanity with granite, new floor and wall tile, new toilet. 5. Finish basement. Includes two new external openings for windows, two new windows, walls and door to separate furnace area from the rest of the basement, moving existing plumbing and electrical wiring as needed, new electrical outlets, recessed lighting, new access doors for crawl spaces / sump pump area / electrical panels, drywall to completely finish the basement. 6. Paint basement, main living area, and entrance area. The general contractor in charge of the project was James Park. James has a solid core team who handles general construction, plumbing, and electrical work. He hires subcontractors to do painting, foundation/concrete work, siding/roofing, flooring, architectural drawings. I lived in the house throughout the entire 4-month renovation. I highly recommend Sky Construction because they are generally competent, responsive, honest, organized, and timely. Regardless of whom you hire to do your home renovation, it’s important to: 1. Write as much detail into your contract as possible. Don’t assume something will be done a particular way unless it’s written into the contract. Ask specific questions. 2. Understand exactly how much time, effort, and shopping is required by you, the customer. Ensure that the contract is specific about what exactly is supplied by the contractor and what the customer must supply. 3. Stay informed about the progress of your project on a weekly basis (and daily basis as needed). Report any subcontractor-related issues as soon as possible. Stay in continual communicate with your contractor.

The work is not yet complete, but I've been very happy with the people and the work. The tub was installed by the manufacturer and that delayed other work.

They did an excellent job with the floors. The price was very reasonable (what I was expecting to pay) and they were very easy to work with. Also, they were able to schedule me last-minute (only had to wait a week), but it was December, which is probably expected. I would recommend Sky Construction to anyone and may be using them for future projects (kitchen remodel).

Sky Construction (James) are very responsive, quick and professional. Price was the most affordable out of all the pros I got quotes from. customer service is good and be flexible to reschedule installation to fit my need and install on time.

James Park was easy to work with. We scheduled a date for the free estimate and Mr. James Park was on time for the appointment. Mr. Park presented as polite, knowledgeable, professional, with an attention to detail that I very much appreciated. Although Sky's initial estimate was not the lowest, Mr. Park was willing to work with us to price match without compromising quality. Sky worked very efficiently to complete all of the contracted work in less than 2 days, and the results are just incredible. We had hired many different contractors over the last 13 years, and Sky Construction is by far the best we've worked with.

I didn't know what to expect when I hired someone to refinish my floors. My floors turned out very nice with only a few moor problems. My hardwood was covered with carpeting for 24 years and I had no idea of its condition. When the carpet was removed there were a few places where the wood should have been replaced and it was not done. In a few areas polyurethane was splashed on my freshly painted walls. I needed to sand and repaint these areas. All that being said, I do like my floors, we have received many compliments on their appearance. In the future I will negotiate my contract differently to address fixing unforeseen problems.

James and the construction crew were great to work with. They've listened/completed everything we've asked for. The construction crew were very detailed to perfection. We love our new addition downstairs. We would use them again for our future projects. We'd definitely recommend them to our friends, neighbors, and family.
