Both (repair and replacement) went very well. The technician was punctual, did the work in a timely fashion and cleaned up the work area after the work was completed. I have used SSI in the past and would hire them again. They do quality work and their pricing is fair and competitive. One other thing, I did not feel pressured to have any extra work done, but was provided estimates for my review.

The technician did a great job. He was on time, inspected the issue I was experiencing, and explained my options. He had the work completed within an hour and my toilet was working again without leaks. I purchased the plumbing membership as well since my home is nearing a quarter century old. It affords me piece of mind. I would highly recommend SSI. I have used them in the past for my HVAC issues as well.

They were wonderful and the customer service was amazing they followed up and followed through from the start to finish. I will be using them again in the future if I have any plumbing needs and recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber.

The technician came into the house, did not make an assessment of what was actually wrong with the system, did not fix anything, and did not call me at until 2 days later. He did charge me for a tune-up and did not do any work. I called a competitor, who came out the next day, made an assessment,communicated to be what needed to be done and fixed the system!!

What a SCAM! Angies List coupon advertised an outdoor faucet replacement for $99.00. When they arrived, they said they could not do it on our faucet. So instead they said they could do a frost free faucet replacement for $698.00. What a scam, ended up paying the $99.00 for them just to replace a leaky valve on current faucet. I would never use them for anything!

I knew a new water heater was needed when you need to turn up the water heat to get any hot water out of the system. Called and was able to get same day removal and installation of a new gas water heater. Process was smooth and I have a great product installed by a certified technician. What could be better. SSI is my go to for plumbing issues.

Contacted 3 times for emergency service. Each time I was told that I would be called by a technician shortly and never was. Each time I called I had to provide information all over again. I don't know if this is an issue with an after hours call service or the actual provider, but I wasted valuable time waiting for somebody to call me back. Very frustrating.

SSI has proven to not be reliable in meeting their appointments and have cancelled twice on me already this week, which has wasted a lot of my time waiting around for their 5 hour service windows. Today they told me a plumber would call me to see if he could still make it and that never happened. This was the last straw. At this point, I have started calling other plumbing companies and have already found one that can do the same service for half the cost.

Too expensive I was quoted $275 for installing the faucet and they wanted over $500 to snake the shower and one sink. I told him that due to already being at the house go ahead with faucet installation, but I'll do the snaking of the shower and sink myself. I'll never call them AGAIN! Maybe they should be working in Beverly Hills at those prices....

Friendly, Knowledgeable, they have a recommendation to give us and they were not pushy in doing the service instead recommended an option outside of what they actually do to fix the problem.

Outstanding service. Sump pump failed during heavy rainstorm. Water all over our basement. SSI was the only company able to respond that night. They arrived around 3 am and finished within an hour.

I contacted Service Specialists Inc to fix my broken ac on 6/18/2018. They came the same day, which I appreciated. They replaced the broken capacitor and the technician strongly recommended I purchase the maintenance plan assuring me had the unit been inspected I would have avoided the breakdown. I paid to repair the broken part and I purchased the maintenance plan. The AC broke again 3 hours later. I called the next morning to say the unit was broken again. They returned that day. The technician said a wire was loose. He said the maintenance plan doesn't include checking wires. This is a surprise to me. So the maintenance contract doesn't ensure the unit is in proper working order nor does the $181.00 I paid for replacing the broken part. They charged another $90.00 to connect the wire. I left a message for the manager requesting a refund for the maintenance plan since it was unclear to me what they actually inspect under the plan. He didn't bother to return the call. I would not recommend or use them again.
