The tech Joseph Williams was incredibly professional and responsive. I recently moved into the condo and he was able to work with me to get my dampers set-up correctly and explain the general functioning of my a/c unit. I was very pleased with all of the work and time that he spent with me. I had a slight concern about the price the of the capacitor but was able to talk with one of the managers and was pleased with their explanation and responsiveness. Overall, I highly recommend and will continue to use in the future.

The technician did a good job in identifying the source of the leak in the basement ceiling. It came from the powder room toilet. He replaced the toilet ring and cleaned up afterwards. The work was very professional and I would use them again.

No work was done as this turned out not to be a plumbing issue.

I purchased the $39 Angie's List deal offered from SSI for an assessment. Setting up the appointment was very easy [be sure to include your contact number so they can call you instead of emailing.] My appointment was set up between 12-4PM however, Adam called with a cancellation and offered me an earlier option which happened to work out well for me. He was at my home when he said he would be. Adam was very professional and listened while I explained the problems I was having. He discussed what he was doing with me and asked if I had any questions. I was given a price quote to make the repairs and he was able to complete the job immediately. The entire appointment took all of thirty minutes. In the event I ever need plumbing services again I will certainly contact SSI...and most assuredly ask for Adam. Prompt, professional, reasonable pricing and one satisfied customer.

They were pretty good. I got a fall and spring inspection. Scheduling was no problem. Everything went well.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a very good job. They checked the unit and said that it was all that it needed. They came 6 days after I purchased the deal. In setting up the appointment, they were very accommodating to fitting it in to my schedule. They were on time when they arrived. They appear to do a good job checking things out. They gave recommendations for future maintenance in it.

The service man was cordial, helpful, professional, and suggested alternatives to keep the cost of the service at a minimum.

It was great! Another company told me that I would need a new faucet, but the gentleman from SSI simply cleaned out the current faucet which took care of the issue. This saved me a lot of money, and I'm very grateful. Ultimately, the company was excellent in every way.

The hose bib was leaking, so I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for the visit to have it replaced. We (the homeowners) could not find the outdoor shut off valve. The plumber looked for it and told me he found it inside our drop ceiling at an awkward angle and couldn't move it. He turned off the water main to the house, took apart the hose bib, told me it was not repairable and that what I needed was a part from Home Depot that would shut off the water between the hose bib and my hose. He turned the water back on and left. He did not charge me anything aside from the Angle's List Big Deal. Once the water to the house was turned back on and the piece from Home Depot installed, the small drip became a steady stream that worsened over 24 hours. We attempted to find and turn off the outdoor valve but it wasn't where the plumber told us it was the day before. Once it was located, it was broken. We ended up filing a claim under our home warranty and another plumber attended to the entire problem. In the meantime, we spent a weekend turning off the water to the house, despite out of town visitors and having small children. I contacted SSI and it will reimburse me for the deal that I purchased.

It was fine. It was a very simple thing. It took them less than fifteen minutes. He knocked on door, came in, did it, and was gone. I thought, at first, the price was a little much. But considering what these guys charge nowadays and I don't get a plumber in here that often, I figured it was probably par for the course.

I had a few companies price out similar Heat Pump Systems and they were the easily cheapest. I had checked out their service reputation on Angie's List as I had not used them previously. They were eager to setup an appointment for the estimate and were able to answer questions I had. During the installation, they arrived on time and were able to get everything completed that day. They had some issues with the new thermostat, but were able to get another one and complete the installation. They came out in April for the check-up on the system. Again, the tech arrived on time and went through a thorough system check (about an hour and half). So far, I have been pleased with everything. The system in still new, so I haven't had to call for any issues with the system.

Drew checked out system thoroughly, checking all reading. It was not a sloppy job as I have had done in the past. Other than Doug (SSI technician who now does commercial properties,) Drew is the very best. As his reputation precedes him, it is very hard to get an appointment with him. However, I wait it out until he's available. SSI, you've got a super technician in Drew. Keep him happy, and keep him around. Thanks Drew and SSI.

It went awesome. We had Joe as our technician, he was extremely prompt( was at my house before I got there), very professional, and explained everything to me. He unclogged a pipe, cleaned the cores on the ac unit and recharged the freon. He even let me have a 5 minute break so i could take my dogs outside, because of the chemicals to clean the core. Very happy with the service. Will recommend them to everyone.

I went to Lowe's and fixed the problem myself. I disputed the charge with the credit card company today.

The process went very well. I got three estimates from other competitors and SSI by far was the most professional. Instead of giving me a carbon copy of the proposed service, with no details. The Consultant explained everything very thorougly. The Consultant printed out exactly the process with details of the unit and installation procedure. Although they were a little expensive , overall the experience was great. Will use recommend them and will probably get them to service the unit later

Drew was great. I have never had anyone take apart the furnace like he did. He took everything out and checked it. I learned more about heating and AC in an hour with him than I have in 30 years. He explained everything. He said it was old but there was nothing wrong, cracked, or dangerous like another company said. He also made an adjustment on the thermostat to make it run smoother. Drew was incredibly conscientious I was incredibly impressed with him.

SSI Services Specialties Inc. were very good. They were very professional and honest. They did what they said they were going to do.

They did a really good job, and I would definitely use them again. Their response time was pretty quick.

The tech explained everything he was doing to me and pointed out at that time if he saw a problem and showed how to maintain unit better. I didn't know I was using the incorrect size filter as the tech checked my filter...so good to know for me. He went out side and check HVAC unit. Anything I wanted tech to look at regarding my unit he did and explained everything to me clearly and slowly as this is all very much not my area of understanding!! I was happy with his results.

It went fine but not quickly. Took about four visits to replace a pipe. Very nice company to deal with.

SSI Services Specialties Inc. were fine. They were punctual and respectful of my house. They put covers on their shoes when they came in. They were done quickly. It was good service.

SSI was very responsive and I very much appreciated the speed with which they had Reid come over. Reid was knowledgeable and professional, and I highly recommend using this company in the future.

I was having A/C trouble and called for service. Spoke to their dispatcher/scheduler @ 9:30am and was told that I would not be seen before 5:30 and that this would mean paying for a service call that was $50 more than normal price. I agreed to it and then waited around until 7:00 that night before calling to find out where the service guy was. Unfortunately, their answering service took a message and told me they would be in contact. Not very professional IMHO. The repairman never showed up. I ended up getting another company to come out the next day...same day service...cheaper service call.
