The plumber was quick, clean, and very professional. I'm satisfied with the quality of his work. The price however seems exorbitant. I wish I had done some price shopping before picking a plumber.

Technical was rude and condescending. At one point my wife had to ask me to leave the office and head back home to talk to him. He insisted that the thermostat was broken and with two clicks I probed him that it was working OK. After that his attitude changed but my level of confidence in him evaporated. The technician downplayed any options to fix the unit and instead pushed for a total replacement of the system. I called their office to complain and never heard back from their manager.

Good, they had to cut the interior drywall for access but it was done neatly and professionally so that the drywall could be easily repaired.

After inspecting I was informed that the coupon I purchased was for a spigot that would not be their recommendation, and I had to make a quick decision on the spot if I wanted to spend triple my budget to get the right thing. I did end up doing that and I am happy with the result, but I would've preferred it go differently at the time and ahead of time.

The estimator came to my home. Never heard back from the company.

We had SSI come out to fix a couple issues that had to be resolved. They came out and did a fine job. No major issues. As a result, I decided to join their group as a member - benefits included cheaper future work and an annual assessment. This is where things went south. Last Friday, we had the "assessment" done - which was to be a full house inspection of all things plumbing. He arrived without a call ahead - not a huge deal, but its a pain when you're trying to get kids to the bus stop and you dont get a heads up. Fine, so he starts, and goes through the levels to check the toilets, the faucets, the water heater etc.. on each level of the house. After he was done, he said everything looked GREAT but our water heater was a bit old and may need to be replaced soon. He sent some quotes. All done. That night - upstairs in the kids bathroom (guest bathroom), something happened and we had gallons and gallons of water flood our bathroom, our upstairs carpet, and THROUGH the main floor ceiling into our kitchen. HUGE damage. I turned off the water and we mopped things up. I called SSI and explained that after having NO issues with this faucet ever, and then they came out to do a "check", we had a pipe break/burst/something - and it flooded our house. They put us in touch with the guy who did the work at our house and he said... - its just a coincidence - i didnt touch anything - call your insurance - nothing i can do That's service? After you come to my house, say all is good, and then say - well.. dumb luck.. but we promise it wasnt us? Never again. Its a shame because we had good service prior to this, but...this is the last time, thanks to the horrible response and the "assessment" which has cost us thousands of dollars in damage.

It went well. One toilet was leaking and that was pointed out to me. It was helpful to know so the toilet could get replaced.

The guy was very pleasant and professional. He knew what he was doing, It was a very quick positive experience. I would use them again and recommend their service.

This happened on a holiday weekend. Although some other companies ads SAID they were "available " 24/7; SSI actually was. Also, Mike, the plumber was nice,polite,very good at His job, and tried to make sure We were satisfied with the work He did. He also cleaned up EVERTHING. He was one of the few repair persons I actually didn't have to clean up after. I would Definitely recommend SSI, and use them, again, if we needed their services.

This is a followup to my earlier review thats pasted below as Angieslist doesn't let me edit previous review: Mr. Todd from SSI called and offered an amicable resolution. He offered discounted install of steam humidifier and extended warranty options. I agreed to pay an additional $ 2700 ($ 13,500 paid earlier), which I thought was fair and I never intended to take advantage of them. The followup visit is scheduled for Dec 7th 2017 to correct the issues. Thanks SSI for efforts to correct it and changing my rating to A. Trustworthy company. On the day of installation, we noticed that there was a Whistle sound coming. Technician Brandon added a return air vent at the duct work in 1 st level of home. The noice still persisted. We had a call from lead technician Chris who noticed the sound and suggested some modifications. The crew came back and made few changes. The noice still persisted. Another senior tech came after two calls and said the noice was not normal. He made few suggestions and they were not implemented. I called and setup a summer inspection few months ago and another tech came and said the only option would be to upgrade the humidifier with another $1400 (aprilair) and indicated the price is after prorating the amount that I paid for earlier humidifier. He shut down my current humidifier to prevent that sound. He mentioned that I have to do it before the one year window. I called 2 weeks earlier and left voice mails for sales manager and have not heard back. I spoke with trane and they say that if a trane humidifier is properly installed it should not make such sounds. I had high regard for the company but ignoring my calls is what made me post this review. Hope they can set this right,"

I called SSI because I had an unused Angie's List big deal for a new outdoor faucet I bought a while back but didn't actually need. They came out the same day, and their plumber, Mike, inspected my toilet. He told me that I might need to replace the whole toilet, but didn't explain why other than "it's old." He said he could try to just replace the flushing mechanism in the tank. I took a gamble on that option, and it seemed to work at first. Unfortunately, it didn't last more than 24 hours, and I had to call them back in. On the return visit, Mike was accompanied by another plumber who was able to more clearly explain the problem. There was hard water build up around the hole for the siphon jet, which prevented the toilet from flushing effectively. There was no way to safely fix this, and I did choose to have them replace the toilet. Since I wouldn't have tried the flushing mechanism re-build if the problem had been clearly explained the first time, I called the manager to see if they would be willing to apply the cost of the labor from the first job to the toilet replacement. He agreed, so I was happy about that. Mike came back to remove the old toilet and install the new one, and that all went well. I rated the price a "B" because they don't waive the dispatch fee ($69) when you agree to let them proceed with any work. I rated the quality a "B" because I still had to pay for the parts of the flushing mechanism re-build which I didn't need.

Having used SSI in the past I knew them to be a reputable organization. SSI reached out to me to schedule the work soon after I'd acquired their $99 hose bib replacement special through Angie's List. Their technician arrived when scheduled, collaborated with me to determine the precise location in the basement ceiling to access the faulty hose bib, quickly replaced the bib and left me with a clean drywall cutout that was easy to reattach and patch over.

The appointment was set up when I wanted it. The plumber came on time and completed the job in a very professional manner. I was very pleased with the service.

Great! Showed up when promised and did the work quickly. I had prepaid for the spigot replacement and paid for the rest of the work upon completion. The office made a mistake on invoicing this portion of the work. When I got an email invoice later on that day and noticed the error, I just called the office and the error was immediately corrected and a refund issued.

Worker was courteous and performed work as requested.

Very well. SSI tech addressed the plumbing issue and the separate visit to install new kitchen faucet efficiently.
