I love the sale man he was very fun and it wasn't a high pressure sale. He was informative and knowledgeable and very responsive. I was also very impressed with the installation. They informed us that we needed a new unit must earlier but were able to nurse our system until we were ready to replace it. I have maintenance agreement with them and will be using them in the future.

They did a great job. This is the second time I have used them. I was pleased both times.

The service provided was great and my technician provided great recommendations in regards to having to replace my toilets. I just purchased a new home and discovered that the toilets were not the best. The tech came out in a timely manner and snaked one of my toilet for an additional fee on top of the $39 service call deal purchased. My only suggestion would be to offer a credit if customers purchased this deal or apply the cost of the service deal to any services performed.

It worked out well. They are always a good company each time I've worked with them. They are always on time and clean up well. I would use them again and recommend them others.

He was very nice. He knew where to look and he fixed it. We have not had a problem with it since.

Can't say enough good things about SSI and the plumber they sent out, Don Blue. I told SSI I needed a sewage clean-out moved due to construction. Don came out a day later, gave me an estimate on the project, and then suggested a solution for two other plumbing concerns I had and advised me on how to do them myself. In the meantime, the construction crew for the new porch was moving faster than expected (Don came out to do the estimate on Friday and the crew worked Saturday and Sunday) so they had actually built the porch framing over the area Don had to dig out. In addition, I had one of the projects he had suggested almost complete when he came to do the work on the sewage clean-out. However, I needed a special (expensive) tool to finish the job (crimping PEX pipe). Don used his own tool to complete the job I had started but refused any extra payment. Also would like to compliment the scheduling staff, who were able to get my job scheduled so quickly and displayed a lot of flexibility when I had to change the service time on short notice. Would definitely use them again.

We tried ourselves to unclog the kitchen sink by checking the trap and using a snake before contacting a professional. I contacted SSI first thing that morning and explained my problem and my schedule. I informed them that I purchased the $39.00 Service Call Special Deal online and it would not let me pick "same day service" so I had to use a future date. They found my request and updated the information for me. I was able to get same day service even though I had to wait until 5pm, but it was a simple and quick fix. We were disappointed in ourselves after finding out that we needed to go down 2 more inches to unclog the sink so our snake was not long enough to do the job.

Outstanding. SSI were very professional and accomplished the work as agreed to. They had diagnosed the problem on a routine maintenance visit. They did not overpromise when first discussed, since they had much work to do over the summer and knew it might be difficult to do my "small job." Still, they came back with a date fairly quickly and provided great service at a reasonable price.

We purchased this deal on Angie's list, scheduled the visit thru Angie's list, called twice to question why we never received a call back, and they still never communicated with us. We'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but we paid money, contacted them thru Angie's list and on their phone with no reply. This is very discouraging, especially for folks who are on a really tight budget.

Terrible service. I have to drive 90 minutes to my rental unit where I had the trouble (with my 2 kids in tow). The SSI plumber NEVER SHOWED UP and nobody called me to tell me he would be late or not show up at all. When he was over an hour late, I called to find out where he was. The company said that they didn't know (after telling me hours previously that my house was the next stop on his schedule). So I drove for 90 minutes (each way) and waited with my 2 kids in a parking lot for several hours for nothing. Needless to say, I was furious. The second time he was scheduled, he came and told me that the pipes behind a tiled shower wall were leaking and had to be replaced. He told me to call a tile specialist or handyman to demolish the shower wall and he would come back and repair the leak and replace the shower valve for $525. I looked on-line and found that the part he said I needed cost about $90. I called a handyman to fix the tile wall, and he showed me an access panel in the adjacent room (3 feet from where the plumber said the problem was coming from). We looked in the panel and saw that the plumbing was perfectly fine but the drywall was wet because of a leak in the grout in the shower and poor caulking work. The plumber never even noticed the access panel. The handyman showed me that the wall with the stain wasn't even adjacent to the shower wall, so it appears that the plumber was looking at the wrong wall when he said he found the problem. I still have to get the shower re-tiled and caulking re-done, but the plumbing itself is fine. Just terrible service, and I'm not sure the plumber had any idea what he was talking about. Call someone else if you value your time and money.

The technician showed up on time and when i explained there is no hot water he immediately jumped to conclusion that i need to replace the water heater(you know how much it costs). When i explained him the step by step about the water heater and told the instructions from manual he nods but doesn't seem to understand the problem. So i started to ask his knowledge on water heater repairs and he says he did hundred of them but don't know this particular one and have good experience fixing them. After trouble shooting he come to conclustion that the cold water inlet is damaged needs replacement, i said it works fine and i can hear the noise when water going into the water heater. He says that is the problem and for him to replace the coldwater inlet valve he told me riduculour price. When i asked after replacing valve if water heater doesn't work what is the next step then he says open the water heater and look into it and for that its different price. Then i came to consultion that he doesn't even have any experience and just wants to make money on service calls and see if he can get more money from the job. I will never use them again. Finally i called the tech support of product and walk thru the issue and concluded that its AIR LOCKED. Need few hours to run thru which i did and in few hours its back up normal.

This was part of a special promotion through Angie's List where, for $39, the plumbing contractor SSI would perform a service call to check out any plumbing problem you might have. The contractor arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He determined that the valve needed tightening, and no replacement parts were required. He made the repair and was completed in a few minutes.

It went very well. Scheduling was easy. He was on time, finished it up and I had no issues. We were impressed with their professionalism.

Overall it went OK. I would give an A- in every category. The water heater seemed expensive but it was in line with the other companies I checked with. The installation took 2-3 hours. He also didn't replace the door to my pantry properly, although that's a minor detail. They were very professional and cordial, though. I would recommend them and use them again.

Went fine although I think the price was a bit higher than what I would normally pay.

He came on time and the work seems fine. I've had no problems and no complaints. There was a bit of a mix-up with the cost because of a special price but he called his company and got it straightened out quickly. He and his company were very nice and professional about it.

SSI performed routine service on 2 A/C units and changed 2 whole house air filters. The service was performed as expected and the technician was professional. I would have given the company an "A" on price had they charged a reasonable rate for each air filter. Normally, we keep the filters on hand; but, since we were out, my husband had SSI to install them to complete the service. We considered their filters pricey since it requires very little effort to replace a filter.

I recently closed on a house and almost immediately the water heater started leaking. First, I contacted another highly rated plumber on Angie's List and was unimpressed with the price. After searching Angie's List Deals, I noticed this provider and contacted them. I was a bit hesitant to purchase the Deal, as it required up front payment, and after talking with the provider, their normal service fee was within $20 of the deal. They were upfront about pricing, and had their water heater plumber call me directly as I had questions, because I was comparing one estimate to the other. Both the office staff and the plumber were friendly, helpful and transparent about pricing and response time. I didn't need an immediate repair as I was in the process of moving and wasn't using hot water, so I was OK with waiting about 4 days for a replacement. On the day of service, there was a little mixup due to three items: 1. The water heater wasn't in stock at their supplier so they had to find an alternate. 2. They wrote my address down wrong. 3. They misunderstood what number to reach me at (they left messages at work that I received upon returning to work). It took me reaching back out to the provider to figure out when they would arrive on the day of service, but all's well that ends well. I was in the middle of moving so I was in between about three places, so I chalk most of this confusion up to that. Once the plumber arrived, he gave an estimate to upgrade the water heater from electric to power vent gas; which would about triple the price of the water heater replacement. I quickly decided to stay with an electric water heater; the payback to upgrade to power vent gas (almost 7 years) did not justify the cost. We are a three person family, so the electric water heater would work in our situation. The replacement itself went well, with the plumber answering my questions along the way. He also made some recommendations on how to maintain the water heater (draining it once yearly and replacing the anode rod every five years), to keep the water heater in top shape. Overall, I was very happy with the service and replacement. The replacement was about 20% less than the other provider for electric and their power vent gas estimate was 1/3rd less than the other plumber. I truly believe that if I had needed the water heater faster, this provider would have made it happen. If I have plumbing issues in the future, I'll be calling this provider first.

The service went okay. I would not purchase a deal form them again because the job ended up being very expensive for a minor repair. They did not even repair the pipe. They just capped it off for and additional $300. It only took them about 20 minutes to complete the service. The technician was friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. I would have like to have the pipe actually repaired but that would have been an additional $850. We still are not able to use the shower they worked on.

They replaced toilet and fixed plumbing issues.

I could not use that for the service that i needed because i had wanted them to come sooner instead of waiting three weeks , they had to charge me for a regular call so they did credit me for that they charged me 200$ on top of that, i was not pleased with them. They did a service call. and i ended up using 355$, the workers were fine. I saw them on Angie's list that's' when i called them up. They were fine although they cost me more that i expected.

It was great! It went very well. They were quick to schedule. There was a quick followup from the time that I purchased the deal on Angie's List to when they contacted me to schedule it. When the technician showed up, he did what he needed to do pretty quickly. He got down to the point, was respectful, and answered my questions. It was a smooth service.

It was very good. I had a leaky pipe. They had to replace a portion of the pipe. It took about 1-2 hours. Reed Maxwell was my plumber and I'll only request him!

Bad from the beginning. As soon as the guy walked through my front door he began asking me to help him get some work undercover. Unfortunately, that warning flag did not make me send him away immediately. I really needed the service and so I thought, let's see what his capabilities are before dismissing him. Wrong idea on my part.

Nobody called or showed up. No services were rendered, please refund $39 to my account credit card.
