I was contacted by Sam on the next business day of my purchasing the special from Angie's List. She was very helpful, professional, and efficient. I was scheduled ASAP based on my schedule and Joey called me before he arrived to let me know he will be there at our scheduled time. Joey was extremely kind, respectful, and quick to understand my issues and concerns. He quickly told me the best option for what I wanted and I agreed with him completely. The way the hose bib line was laid out he had to cut access points in basement bedroom. Joey wore protective shoe slippers each and every time he went in and out. Joey was very careful with his tools and ladder to not mark up anything. His work was clean and quick. I would highly recommend SSI Services and I hope that SSI will recognize both Sam and Joey for their great work.

Not well. Plumber who arrived to do the work said he could not access the internal plumbing for the hose bib because a kitchen cabinet was in the way - he would have to remove the cabinet (not an option from my perspective) or relocate the entire pipe/hose bib to allow for access. However, we later found out (after having it replaced today by another contractor) that the internal access was not blocked the cabinet, but was in the next room and was accessed with a simple cut to dry wall.

AWESOME! Called on late Sunday afternoon due to my basement flooded due to a pin hole in the pressure relief valve.

Very professional. A representative called to inform about expected arrival of plumber. They also sent an email introducing their staff including the representative and plumber.

The work itself was outstanding. They were courteous and completed the job meeting/exceeding expectations. Third time was a charm on scheduling. Once, last min change due to delays with the customer in front of us then bad weather, a second due to a family emergency. Maybe this wasn't the usual, but we are lucky one of us works from home b/c would have been pretty irate had I scheduled time off work to be home then had them reschedule after they were supposed to arrive on both occasions.

It went very well. It went very quickly, easily, and efficiently.

They'd been fixed twice before by another service but were never completely fixed. SSI correctly diagnosed the problem and they have been working well ever since.

Very well. Repairman was punctual and polite. Decided to go with new toilet. Finished repair same afternoon. Everything went very well. Will use SSI again. Price included new upgraded toilet.

Excellent experience. I purchased the hose faucet replacement deal, but I didn't want to go through the ordeal of cutting into the wall and the drywall repair that I'd have to perform. I got a confirmation email with a picture of the plumber that would be coming to my home. He showed up right on time (I had the first appointment of the day, which I'm sure helped with that), and he was very pleasant and helpful in explaining my options. He agreed to rebuild the spigot, which involved replacing some of the inner workings, and nothing had to be sawed or cut out. I got on my way to work, and he got to his next appointment in no time. The spigot works like new.

They came in on a Saturday and they were fabulous. It was a regular visit and they came right away and they did a nice job. It's been years and I haven't had a problem. I think the price was great.

not done - all he did was take apart the hose bib and tell me it would cost me $400 to replace my bib. I paid 99 for him to change my hose - I could have done that

It went very well. The technician, Joey called me to inform 30 mins delay because of the traffic. He showed up exactly about 1/2 hour later. He inspected first and told me what he would do first and inform me that it would be extra cost for the extra work which was making hole from the bathroom to see how the water pipe connected since the electricity line was located to the next each other. Once I accepted his extra work and extra money, he started working. It was no pressure, just he to,d me the fact. His work was fast and efficient. I appreciated his work.

Did not show. Gave me a window from 12 to 5. I called them at 4. Said he was running behind and would arrive anytime before 8; however, would give me an hour notice before showing up. At 6:50 he showed up without calling. We have a gate which is manual (for our dog). The driver did not get out of truck. Drove away and left a message which said the gate was closed, and he could not get in. Called him 10 minutes later and told him the gate was manual, and he should come back. (He would have known that the gate was manual if he had gotten out of his truck.) He said OK. Ten minutes later he called back and said his dispatcher said to reschedule. Did not come back. My husband and housekeeper were both in the house. I was in the backyard with my dog. Bottom line I waited EIGHT hours for nothing. This company is horrible, and I am waiting for a refund.

Great - the service technician (Joey) did a wonderful job and was really helpful in educating me on some other work that I was considering. Our CSR/Dispatcher kept us up to date on our scheduling and when Joey would arrive. They had to reschedule us once to keep a 7am appointment, but they called 3 days in advance and worked us into the schedule a few days later. We wanted to replace both of our hose bibs, but because of the location of the second one, it would have been an additional cost and would have meant moving some fairly heavy shelving units in the basement - so I called that one off. We are going to have SSI come back and run a gas line for a stove at a later date, and Joey provided an initial estimate of the work. Great experience, and strongly recommended.

Extremely well. Angie's List special deal. I was called early the day of the scheduled appointment regarding a cancellation, so I got an earlier time. Joey called when he was on his way and arrived about 15 minutes later. The replacement took about 15 minutes. There were no surprises -- always a good thing.

Pretty bad actually. 1/ The technician was super late, didn't even apologize for it. 2/ He tried to sell me on a tone of none necessary things. When I asked him "but is it broken", he told me "no, but it will be at one point"... isn't that always the case? 3/ I had a few other things to do around the house, asked him for a quote (which he promptly gave me), but little did he know I had asked another plumber the same things. Prices offered by SSI are out of the roof. To go back to the toilet tune up, all he did was changing 2 flappers (which cost about $2.00-4.00/piece) and takes around 20 seconds to replace. If I had known this was the only thing he would do, I would have never signed up for this service. I was hopping he would do a bit more, like inspecting the tube to see any obstructions/problems, or doing anything "fancy" that one could do to toilets. Maybe it's just me hopping to could be useful to some extent. Total waste of time and money. The only good thing about this visit is that I now know I should never do any business with SSI.

SSI plumbing technician Robert was very knowledge and efficient in repairing our leaky outdoor faucet. He also did a comprehensive plumbing inspection while on site, we have other plumbing issues need to be taken care of in the near future. We will for sure consider SSI.

"Little Rob," as he refers to himself (apparently there were two Robs at the time) was phenomenal and provided stellar service. The first time we used our MB shower it leaked through to the ceiling just below it. A few technicians attempted to repair it with no success and left us thinking our only option was to remodel. We were not quite ready to remodel so we ended up going 4 + years without using the shower. We ended up purchasing a plumbing deal from SSI that included a free plumbing inspection. We made the appointment and the process was extremely painless and they sent a technician out within a couple of days. Rob arrived on time and conducted a very thorough inspection of the shower. He identified the drain, which had supposedly been "checked" a number of times by others, as the source of our issue. Rob was very creative in his approach and was able to get our leaky shower issue resolved at a more than reasonable rate. He is truly a master at his craft and saved us a ton. We couldn’t have asked for a better technician. Great job SSI for hiring people such great people!

Nobody showed up nor called to explain why. So my only experience is trying to get a refund. Waiting for a 5 hour window with nobody showing up is a major waste of my time.

Their price is too high. A replacement of valve cost $270; plus, I bought a service to replace a leaky out side faucet and they just replaced washer without replacing the whole faucet.

Went very well. The technician was great.

I called SSI on July 18, 2016 to discuss the repair that I needed. From my initial contact, the office staff was friendly and very responsive to my calls and given that we had to shut-off our entire water supply due to the broken pipe, they understood our situation and scheduled the necessary repair the same day that I called. The plumber (Joey) who handled the repair was very friendly and very knowledgeable and throughout his work, he kept me informed of what he had to do and he even offred suggestions for a better arrangement for my water pipes and valves. Joey did the repair in a very timely and professional manner and he ensured that the work site was clean. I really appreciate SSI as a compnay and I highly recommend them to other homeowners and business that need plumbing work done.
