Moxie Pest Control

From our first introduction to the company (a personable, well-informed college student who was working in sales for them for the summer and knocked on our door one May evening) to date, everyone we have encountered has been professional, friendly, and very helpful. We have quarterly interior and exterior preventive treatments, and they are always very accommodating about working with our schedule and great about communication before and after treatments. Most recently, we had a rodent issue (eek!), and Moxie handled it very competently and quickly. Our technician, German, was friendly, polite, and very informative. He was attentive to the issue and it is now resolved to our satisfaction.

Jack came by today and did an outstanding job. He treated the entire exterior of our home for all the usually spring time pests - cleaned the eaves for any spider webs - and even treated for ticks (even though we have never had that issue). When he was done he came to the door and explained everything he did. That is when I asked him to treat some inside areas of the house in which we have had small ant issues over the early spring. He did that without any issues and made it clear to call him back if that did not solve the ant issues.

Jack was very professional. He explained in detail where he had sprayed. Felt we would have no more problems. We have a small dog and recommended he not be in the sprayed room for 2 hours.

Any type of pest in the home is unnerving, even ants. Moxie was quick to respond to my call. "Jack" arrived on the expected day and took the time to listen to my problem. He treated the inside of my house where the ants were found and also the outside of my house to help prevent a recurrence. I very much appreciated his professionalism and the fact that he put on "booties" before entering my home, and being careful to spray the baseboards and not my white couches. Thanx Moxie!

MOXIE provides us our quarterly pest control, usually just spraying/baiting the exterior to prevent pests from entering, but also treating the interior upon request at no additional charge. Overall what they do does its job, but if you see any insects ... or rodents ... they return for free to retreat/retrap (and haul away dead mice, if you need that) as many times between quarterly services as you need. Recently we noticed carpenter bees arriving to begin burrowing into our house above some windows. MOXIE sent out Eric R., who quickly got up there and treated the house specifically for those bees. No more bee burrowing so far, but I am sure if we see some, MOXIE will return to treat again. Of course, if you think ~$100/quarter is expensive for pest control, this is not the company for you. But in terms of professionalism and service, MOXIE knocks it out of the park.

Service technician Pierre Ashton arrived on time, listened to problem and properly initiated a solution. Pierre was very curteous and I would be most pleased to have him back for my quarterly device.

Technician Zach Ellis inspected entire exterior of the house - granulated the lawn, treated around the foundation, performed a crack and crevice treatment to target any insects nesting and de-webbed the exterior eaves. They guarantee their work and come quarterly to treat. If I have any problems in between, they graciously come back and re-treat. They are always, prompt , courteous and thorough. Really a great deal for $99.00

The technician, Darius, was very friends and completed the service quickly and thoroughly.

Darius was very efficient and extremely courteous. He filled the boxes that needed more bait and removed the old sticky traps/boxes. He was even honest enough to inform me that there was a dead mouse in one of the traps, which he removed as well. We are pleased that the mouse activity has significantly decreased and that this is only the second mouse we've seen in a couple months. Before the exclusion service it was more like we saw a mouse every week!

Jack rang my doorbell to introduce himself before he started the service. He was here for about 30 minutes, inspecting and treating the outside of my house, my front and back yard and carport. He came back when he was finished and told me what he did. Jack was very polite. I did not request indoor service, but I have in the past. I have also called in between quarterly services if I've seen pests inside or outside, and Moxie has come to provide additional treatment at no charge.

Darius Dawkins did a good job covering outside and essential areas inside the house.

I am happy with the results and the fact that if I need them to return between treatments, they do so at no charge. I like the reminder call the day before. The techs are always helpful and courteous.

Service is always excellent at Moxie. Their technicians (Eric Rich specifically) are very professional and always on time. They take the time to explain what they have found and what they did. The team on the desk that schedule the appointments and follow up are also wonderful - very nice and always helpful, flexible. They even sent me a baby gift when my son was born! Thank you Moxie!

I am usually not home when they come, but I can tell that the pests are gone when they do come. In January I was left a bill with no evidence of service. There were tire tracks and footprints only in the snow leading to the front door, no other place around my home were footprints indicating they had done work around the home.. I tried to cancel my account with them, they tried to make it better, but have yet to show me that they are doing anything to improve my service.

I recommend Mozie. I used another service for 1-2 years but they didn't hold a candle to Moxie. They might be a little higher but well worth the thoughtful, professional care they give.

Nick Reilly inspected & treated my home and cleaned cobwebs. He pointed out places needing attention and gave recommendations for addressing these issues. He explained my choices to include how to perform them myself. I especially appreciated that because it shows more than JUST wanting my money; it shows the company actually cares. Nick was courteous, professional and personable. People like him keep customers coming back. Thanks for sending him today. Please note I gave the quarterly cost for the service. They will return whenever you need them and that is included in the cost. I've had them return before so I know this for a fact.

I tried to call three times today to get my service rescheduled and no one answered the phone even though it's the middle of the day. I would not recommend them to anyone!

They would schedule to come even though we told them not to. We cancelled the service and they kept hasseling us.

They did what was asked and removed the animals from the attic and put up wire mesh to prevent re-entry. Just cost a little more than I would have thought was thinking like $300 - $500. The actual cost was $980 almost $1000.00. For large animal removal there are only like 2-3 companies that do this so in my opinion there is not enough competition to drive down rates to an affordable one.

If you are interested in a long term relationship, this company is for you. We have cancelled the service twice but they just keep returning and charging our credit card. I have no complaints about their service when we wanted them, but now we cannot seem to stop them.

Elijah treated the exterior of our home as well as the interior. When I mentioned a specific pest located in our backyard, he informed me he'd already take care of it! I was very happy with his professionalism and service.
