Description of Work: Pest control spray of inside/outside of my home. Put out granules in yard for ticks and ants. Also took care of ground bee nest. |The service person was very professional and listened to my concerns( we have koi that I needed chemicals to stay away from).

Description of Work: We had purchased a voucher for a standard termite inspection by Moxie. The rep came out on the day and at the time we agreed, and performed the inspection. Although no signs of termite activity were found inside the house, he did find a termite in the mulch outside of our house. We were quite shocked when he said that the report would indicate that "termites had been found", although they were outside. He proceeded to recommend a preventive treatment that would cost us 1k! Upon researching online, apparently this is a standard price for the treatment, but we were given little explanation as to what the treatment would involve. We scheduled the rep to come back and when we got home, we found that several forest green round traps, about 3 inches in radius, had been dug into the mulch in the most visible spots possible. To say they were an eyesore would be an understatement. I called to ask about the placement of the traps and what we could do to hide them from view. A rep came out the very next day to take a look, and explained to me the reason why they had been installed the way they were, and that I could cover them with a thin layer of mulch or dirt. I wish they could have been moved to less visible spots under bushes, but what was done was done, and I camouflaged them as recommended. Then, the next day, my husband received a bill for another $345 for the consultation. I called immediately to see why they had charged us, since they had offered as a FAVOR to send a rep out to answer my questions. They apologized for the mistake and refunded the charge. So, this review is mixed because although customer service was good and very responsive, and we got the treatment we needed at what seems to be a standard price (although we thought it to be exorbitantly high!), we also had a few challenges along the way. At the end of the day, however, we are happy to have termite protection, and will see Moxie again anyhow because they will be the ones to come check the traps. It was just something that needed to be done.

Description of Work: They were willing to work around my schedule, they arrived on time, provided a full explanation of their service and what we could expect from their treatments. Very professional -- will continue to use them. Signed a one-year contract with them.
