Moxie Pest Control

Clean spider webs outside, set mouse traps (we live in a place with lots of trees and adjust property is a park!), and spray the perimeter of the property to address any pests we have problems with. They are very professional, and punctual.

Travis came by the door and we signed up for a one year service. We set up an appointment for treatment, and Mike came by at the scheduled time. He wore plastic boots to protect our flooring and he was very thorough and professional. Overall a great experience - so far (this was only our first treatment)

The Tech (Douglas Thomas) was prompt. He did exactly what their rep said he was going to do and, honestly, what more can you really expect. I am in a ground floor condo so I do not have a yard however he hit the common area out front of my patio as an added gesture. You could tell he was trained well went over everything (what chems and how long to wait) for the dog. You could tell he is treated well by Moxie and it shows in the way he treated me. If all the pest companies are the same I'd stick with Moxie just for service like Douglas gave me!

There was no difference in the amount of insects at our house. Although they advertise that they will come back if you're not satisfied with the quarterly service, we didn't have time to keep having them return.

awaiting pest treatment. the service prices were offered at discount and that is appreciated. further, services do not kill pests but provide a barrier to avoiding the property from the start. keeps natural insects in their habitats and not in areas where children, pets or parents use. services have not been performed just yet. will update when they do.

The service provider was excellent. The technician, Mr. Sausal was prompt and thorough and polite. He was careful to cover his shoes before entering the house. He first asked me to describe the problem and listened to what I had to say. He explained all of the steps he intended to take to resolve the propblem. At the end of the inspection he explained what he had done, what I should expect and advised me that that they would come back in one week to check on the progress of the extermination. He asked if I had any questions and further explained the quarterly service that I had purchased.

They took care of a rodent problem for me. Everything went great. They were very helpful. When my Terminix contract is over I'm definetly going to switch to them full time.

In a single day, we had piles of insect bodies+wings appear in our garage at the stair entrance to the house. This was alarming, so I requested that Moxie come out to identify the insect and then treat if needed. The technician they sent was new and couldn't identify the insect. He talked me into a service plan, while taking a sample of the insect and promising that their associated lab would test it and I would hear back in 48 hours. Instead, two weeks went by and I finally called their office, leaving a message. They left a return voice message for me that the sample had not been viable and that they would need to come out and get another. They didn't even ask for me to call back to schedule this return visit to get the sample. I had no other pest issues, so without knowing what this insect was, i don't know if treatment was even necessary.

He went over my contract, and explained to me, that they would come every 90 days, and they would spray the house, and also included a $100 charge a year for my yard, to be sprayed with granules that help cut down in mice, and ticks. It is very basic. The gentleman came out, he was very nice, he sprayed very lightly around the house. We have a basement that goes outside, and we have deep window wells, and he didn't do that. He didn't do our garage, and my daughter who is 30 something was here, and I asked her if he sprayed the property. He sat in the driveway for a long time, probably 25 minutes. He sprayed around the house lightly, and then he sat in the truck. I asked her to check if she had white granules in the yard, and she said she hadn't seen any. He then came out and wanted me to sign the contract, with little check marks to show what was done. They wanted to charge my card, but I just put on it cancelled. I don't recommend them. Their price was no different than anybody else. It was average. They were very professional.

They have sprayed only the outside perimeter of the house. It's been fine and the occasional bug has made it through but I think that is to be expected. Today I called because I have a "pest" (bird + nest) in my fireplace flue. They say they can't / won't do anything about it. So - I guess the service is fine as long as you don't really need them.

I pay quarterly. All of them are about the same.

Its been 3 weeks and I still see Ants. The spray is not working .

They put down chemicals (outdoors) to treat for spiders, crickets & ants. They inspected and dewebbed exterior of house. They dusted cracks/crevices, and siding. They sprayed foundation barrier. I was having a problem with ants coming into the house. They found the ant mounds outside and placed ant poison around them. The problem stopped. Then I had wood/carpenter bees drilling into our house. I called them and they came out at no cost, and treated the areas where they were drilling. The bees left. The cost is a bit high ($99 quarterly); however, if you have any problems in between quarterly treatments, they come out at no extra charge. The technicians that come out are very knowledgeable and answer all my questions. They explain what they have done and if they saw any potential problems. They are very courteous and friendly. This is the 4th Pest Control company I have used since we moved here and they are the best.

They approached me for the contract. They had a good deal and I was able to confirm their favorable status on Angie's List. The only thing I was disappointed with is that they don't do termites. They always call me and give me a heads up when they're coming to my home.

So far so good. No ants in my house since using Moxie, but the season is young. I will update my review as temps get warmer. If we go into a dry season ants will search for water sources inside a house and we'll really see how Moxie rates to other providers. Technicians are always friendly and professional.

I had a great experience. They came on three separate occasions for follow-up and they were consistent, prompt and the treatment was effective. I will definitely be using them again.

Moxie pest control is professional, punctual and generally easy to work with. I had hired another pest control company in the past, and Moxie is no doubt one of the more professional and customer focused pest control companies.

They come on a regular schedule and any extra time indeed them!

The sales person that came to our door assured us that Moxie would treat for termites and pest. We needed both so we signed a contract for a year with them. It turned out Moxie does NOT treat for termites and now I need to find an other company for that. I should have known better and not trust the salesman. I should have done my homework before signing a contract with them. Moxie sent somebody to treat our house, everything went well. He sprayed inside and outside our house, replaced some mice trap. He offered to come back before the next treatment in case I see bugs or mice need to be removed. Since I was also expecting a treatment for termites, it feels like only half of the job was done. It seems that most of what they did is what I normally do: spray around doors and windows and insect killer in the garden. I would not use this company in the future because it only responded to half of my need because of a misinformation or disinformation.

I have been customer for past 3 years. I have seen big drop in pest activity since they have been providing services. They have always been responsive as well as professional.

Very professional and competively price.

They've always been responsive when we have particular pest problems, and have been attentive of our house's specific concerns (we have vegetable gardens near the house, so no spraying there).

Pretty good, although I frequently have to call them back to do a follow up service. The good news is they do the follow up services for free as long as they treat the property once a season. Only problem is they don't do as good a job when I'm not home as they do when I'm around to point them at problem areas. Since they send a different tech out each time, they don't remember the problem areas from service to service.
