Description of Work: Based on the review, I hoped to use this provider, however the communication to get the scope agreed and work scheduled didn't go well at all. First it took multiple contact by email and phone call to get in touch with someone to go over the scope of project. After emailing the detail of work, provider agree that I can use Big Deal to pay for labor portion to save some money and also to remove painting out of the scope. It took 5 days and multiple reminder to get a revised quote. It still didn't reflect the labor portion I already paid through Big Deal. I send two more reminder to get corrected quote and confirmation on the scheduled appointments. I only heard back from the company after I requested for refund. The provider then told me that Big Deal cannot be used. While they could have been great at the work itself, I decided to cancel the job and request refund from Angie's List after having unsatisfactory communication with the provider over three week.

Description of Work: 1. At appointed time on 8/10/2012, two gentlemen -- Ramell Reyes and Willis Bosworth -- arrived and proceeded to estimate the cost to replace asphalt sheet roof destroyed in recent storm. Estimate, (given after call to office to price out the work and materials) was below previous bids received, so we verbally agreed. 2. Arrived on time, w/all materials required to do the job. 3. Removed old barn roofing materials, being careful to save in their pockets all nails removed. This was especially important because the barn's occupant, a horse, could be injured by a nail. 4. Replaced w/new asphalt sheet roof. Were very careful, fast, skillful, and, per my husband -- did a better job by far than he himself had done previously. 5. Cleaned up all debris from old roof on a tarp used for this purpose. The next day another Moss employee came to remove the debris, as promised. 6. We were billed the next business day for the agreed-upon sum, and I gladly paid. 7. We look forward to working w/Moss as often as needed in the future. 8. P.S. I called Moss to get an electrician out to fix my microwave oven. Instead, the person who answered the phone asked the nature of the problem, and then suggested we wait and talk by phone w/the electrician directly. He walked my husband through the problem's solution and we no longer needed an electrician! EVERYONE at Moss is pleasant and COMPETENT!!
