Description of Work: I actually had two contracts with them because of how they divide the work between renovations and remodeling. The remodel team that handled my bathroom was superb! They were punctual, polite, kept me informed of what to expect and when and treated my home with great respect, in addition to providing great work. The renovation team that was working on upgrades to my basement did not keep me informed, showed up when not expected or did not show up when they were supposed to be on the job. The workers left my house a wreck and/or damaged my home and I had to make several calls to get the issues resolved and in one case they made a major structural error when installing a support beam. Moss did resolve every issue and was extremely apologetic and the quality of the finished work was excellent. I would ABSOLUTELY use the crew that handles kitchen and bath remodels and would give them an A+. The other crew I would rate as a C. I strongly believe I would have had a much better experience if another crew had been assigned to me. If you use them, tell them that you do not want Franciso's team to do the work.

Description of Work: Grouting and minor electrical work.

Description of Work: Moss sent a team of repairman to the house to fix a variety of issues including gutter cleaning, gutter topper installed, electrical repairs, door lock repair, removal of a Dish antenna repair of roof. Excellent service.

Description of Work: We built out 12 feet and went up to a 10 ft. ceiling, moved our kitchen and dining to make a great room. We added a bedroom and bath and a screened porch and completely renovated our laundry room. |It went extremely well. The quality and integrity of the work from the architect to our crew was outstanding.

Description of Work: Jim showed up as expected and our task really had scope creep so he did an estimate for the whole task and kept the deal made on the hour/rate advertised. The type of work was redoing the shower floor with plumbing and tile. The work was not speedy, but it was clear that it was very quality. Quality is paid for up front or after the project. I prefer it this way. Good job.

Description of Work: Moss was very responsive. Even when an unexpected emergency forced a reschedule they stayed in contact and made rescheduling easy. The work performed was excellent. He cleaned up and performed everything on our checklist. Fabulous job!

Description of Work: I had a home visit from a very pleasant gentleman to do an estimate for replacement of the trim on my home. I was promised an estimate by Friday following the appointment. No response, either by phone or email even after I reached out. Total fail on their part. Surprising after all the good reviews from others - that being the reason I contacted them in the first place.

Description of Work: Brian Walker came and spent the day at the house working on a range of things from installing cabinets, fixing light fixtures to assembly of furniture. He did lots of odds and ends and handyman work from big to small. He showed up on time and did everything with the highest level of quality. I would recommend Moss without any reservation and am now considering using them for a much larger remodeling project.

Description of Work: They cleaned my gutters, fixed any leaks in the gutters, found nails popping out of my roof and patched those, diverted water from my roof (that was leaking into my basement) and plugged a basement leak. The also caulked some windows that needed some attention. | |They did arrive late a few times, but called me every time and let me know when they would be there. Scheduling was easy, and they worked the entire time they were there. I was very happy with the amount of services I got within my 8 hours that I purchased. I was quoted more than I paid for the 8 hour coupon, than it would've cost to just clean and fix my gutters. | |The outdoor crew (they have one outdoor crew) were very polite, explained everything, and gave me options for how to handle different situations. I was very pleased overall with the services and price point and would definitely use them again. |

Description of Work: I was very pleased with Stan, the handy man from Moss Design. He was easy to talk to, helpful, and seemed to know what he was doing. He was going to remodel (extend) my kitchen island but I didn't have the right supplies so he told me exactly what I needed to buy. He worked on a bunch of other things and is scheduled to come back out to do my island. I felt confident that everything he worked on was done correctly.

Description of Work: Various fixes around the house. Most things were ok, but the handyman tried to ignore the hauling task, so Moss did it the next day. The handyman also damaged one of our toilets in his attempt to repair it.

Description of Work: I employed Moss Building and Design to repair wood rot on my bay window, and I am very pleased with their performance. The staff I came in contact with was very courteous, prompt and professional in handling my request from inspection to actual repair. After I initially left a voice mail, they contacted me the next day and followed up with e-mail confirmation as to scheduled dates for inspection and repair. Ramell who did the repair work was very thorough, meticulous and courteous.

Description of Work: Making the appointment was very easy and they were pretty flexible. When the appointment date came, the contractor was right on schedule, to the minute I should add. I had to go to work for the day, but my mom was in the house while the work was done. Everything except two things were completed from a to-do list we had compiled, which was a big list. So we were very happy that most tasks were completed. I ended up making a second appointment with them for some gutter cleaning, which they did a great job on also.
