Description of Work: Moss was able to fix an outdoor leak that two other companies tried and failed to fix. i would definitely hire Moss again. good team. knowledgeable. professional.

Description of Work: Excellent experience using Moss for home electrical services. The electrician Alan was the best service provider we have had in years. He was punctual, worked through our long to do list quickly and very professional. Our list include replacing light fixtures, and smoke alarms, repairing a ceiling fan and replacing light switches. Alan was great at troubleshooting problems and repairing items; which saved our favorite ceiling fan. He also recommended and |installed some recess-like fixtures for our basement which was a great alternative to all the work involved with regular recessed lights. We definitely recommend Alan and Moss to Angie's list. Great job Alan!

Description of Work: Remodeling. Very nice, but went way over the budget I gave them.

Description of Work: This request for grading this contractor is premature. The job is not finished yet, but so far I am very pleased with their professional approach to the task and the quality of the results. I'll finish this assessment when all the parts are in and the job is completed for this round on handyman service.

Description of Work: I needed some handyman work to be done, but they seem to be overwhelmed with the requests and couldn't even have someone call me even after a week since I bought the deal. They responded through the messaging center on Angie's List and kept saying someone will call, but never got the call and I wasted a week just waiting for the call. I would have kept it if it wasn't very urgent for me to get it done.

Description of Work: I used the handyman services and they were great. They sent the same tech out both times and he did exactly what I asked.

Description of Work: Everyone was very helpful and professional. They are very busy, but I believe it is better to have a busy contractor. Unfortunately, our concerns were a bit more urgent and we couldn't wait. Will consider them in the future.

Description of Work: I purchased the $499 for 8 hours of a handyman or electrician. We had recently moved into a new build home so needed all of our ceiling fans (6 of them) hung, a dining room chandelier, kitchen pendant lights, and some dimmer switches added. The electrician showed up at 7:30am and worked the full 8 hours, managing as much of the work as he could - all 6 ceiling fans and the kitchen pendants! I was so happy with his work that I used Moss for the remaining work. Will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Moss renovated a two room bathroom, and the finished product looks very good. My approximate cost listed above includes tiles and related labor, but not other materials such as faucets, rough ins, vanity, sink, tub shower enclosure or shower panel. My project worked out very well with my getting my own things, but I do not recommend it for others unless they know what they are buying. | |My project included removing an existing closet, and adjacent tub, moving the toilet a couple of inches, installing a walk in shower where the tub was previously located, and installing a claw foot tub. I wanted Moss to build me a shower base, rather than using prefabricated acrylic, and the result is excellent. The project manager on the job was Bob K., and he was on top of things every step of the way. The Moss employee I was most was Dean B., who really cares about the quality of his work. He really went above and beyond. Both Bob and Dean were great to work with. | |Regardless of which contractor you choose, always make sure the terms are not only clear, but also favorable to you. I paid 30% down as per stated in my contract, but work did not start until about three months later. It also took more than a month for me to get a contract, so when I did get it, I signed it quickly so as to not contribute to another delay. I did look at other contractors, but liked Moss and did not seriously consider others. | |Make sure the contract lists every possible thing that you want taken care of, including insulation and other things you might take for granted. If you do not do this early on, it will cost you more later. This applies to any contractor. | |I am fortunate enough to be able to do most things myself, but I am glad that I called on Moss for this project. With the materials I purchased in addition to the price charged by Moss, my to bathroom reno (about 50 sq ft per room) cost about $40k. If I had to do it again, I would choose Moss again.

Description of Work: Performed basic carpentry repair to three if my exterior doors. Great job and experience.

Description of Work: Price was very high for replacing 1.5 pieces of drywall on a porch ceiling. Granted the ceiling is high but would have prefered a "no bid" to something that outrageous.

Description of Work: Carpentry work to build a nice wide, continuous windowsill below a bank of windows that totaled about 8 ft wide. Stan did a very nice job.
