The handymen were punctual, gave me good information about what needed to be done and then did their work fantastically. I was very impressed with both the general contractor type and the electrician. The second part of this was someone came by to take measurements of the bathroom and work up ways to make it more functional. Needless to say I asked repeatedly in emails and called twice about suggestions that they said they were going to do but never did. Here it is 3 months later and I still don't have a response on my little bathroom renovation. The handymen were great, but I was really disappointed about the bathroom remodel. I guess some jobs are just too small to matter.

Moss did an excellent job and at the best price of the estimates I received. I had a typical circa-1990 bathroom with vinyl floor and contractor-grade furnishings. I had everything replaced with modern fixtures and a tile floor. After many years of being a bit embarrassed by the state of my bathroom, with its mismatched colors, dated decor, and persistent mold due to poor ventilation, I went ahead and did something about it. Kevin did an excellent job and was the complete opposite of the stereotypical contractor who disappears halfway through the job. There were a couple times where he got on a roll and it was late in the day when I had to say it was ok to come back again tomorrow. After everything was done, it felt strange not having him in my house anymore, after being here so much for over a week. At least he did make for very good company. A thousand little things go into remodeling a bathroom, many of which you can't always anticipate, and Kevin made sure to go the extra mile to make sure that they were taken care of. There was also no nickel and diming for the inevitable emergency trips to Home Depot when the best-laid plans go awry, as many companies will do. Now that I finally have the beautiful, modern-looking bathroom that I envisioned, my off-white laminate kitchen looks out of place. One of these days that will have to be taken care of, and I plan on giving Moss a call again when that day comes.

He arrived in time. Looked at the leak in the ceiling. Then researched it into the bathroom. He found mold and instructed us not to use the bathroom and to get a Plummer to review the shower and get the area fixed.

I was very pleased with the work they did. They were both very courteous and prompt. They also explained a lot of things to me and cleaned up well after themselves.

Nice vibe. Seemed professional and detailed. Bid estimate reflected that. Elected to use someone else who better fit our timeline and cost structure.

He drove up the driveway at 7:30 am, which is exactly when he said he would arrive. He worked logically on all items so that he could complete all of the work I wanted him to complete. He picked up and thoroughly cleaned when he was finished. Very seamless

It was fantastic. They did a great job. They showed up on time, worked hard and got everything done when needed done.

Brandon Sarina gave estimate, was very professional and reasonably priced. Mike did the drywall repair, was on time, worked hard and communicated well. Siding guys did the window leak repair were fast at diagnosing and seemed to know what they were doing.

The plumbing work was excellent. He was very efficient and fixed everything on the list. The handyman side didn't go as well as expected but they sent someone else out and they resolved my issues to my satisfaction.

We called and set up an initial call. We could not set up an appointment because of date issues. would be great if they can call back and set up an appointment. we plan to get an estimate for our kitchen and hopefully finish the remodeling sometime soon.

These guys were great and got the repais done well before I thought they would. They also showed me several things about my home where things were rotted and needed to be fixed in the future and made recommendations for how I could fix them. They were also very neat and had someone come to pick up my old fence posts at no cost - which pleasantly aurprised me because I thought that would be my responsibility. I will definitely use this company again.

The job went extremely well. The team from Moss was very quick and always professional and courteous. Ryan Pettit did an excellent job leading a small but effective team. The team went from concrete slab to a finished space in about a month, right on schedule. The final cost was $61,000, exactly what was estimated by the Moss team. We only had an extra charge of $400 for insulation between floors to provide sound dampening. Prior to using Moss we got four estimates. One popular company swore this was a $90-120k job. The Moss team made sure that every last detail was wrapped up upon completion. I never felt like I had to push them to fix any detail. They even helped me hang a flat screen TV with concealed wiring. I would definitely recommend using Moss and would absolutely use them in the future.

Let's begin this review with "We Love Moss"! We searched long and hard and did a lot of homework before choosing Moss to build our addition. This was a massive as well as expensive project - we wanted to be certain we were making a good investment and that we would have the best possible team in place to make this happen with the least amount of pain. We are detail-oriented people who were heavily involved in our project and the Moss team met our expectations on every level. The project lasted about a year from designing the plans to completing the house - the construction phase took 6 months. The entire Moss Team was responsive, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and honest from the start of the project until the finish. You will not find a more honest, reliable, cost-conscious and customer-focused builder out there. They had great ideas to help bring our vision to life and they have the skilled professionals to build it right. Jason Hampel, owner, is wonderful to work with and helped us throughout the process. He will go above and beyond the call of duty to listen to you and to respond to your needs. Matt Alspaugh, our project manager, is our own personal hero. With Matt overseeing things we could rest easy that every last detail would be considered and the quality of the workmanship would be top notch. Building a project of this magnitude is challenging but Moss really made the process as seamless as possible. They built a beautiful home for us. We highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Moss came by to replace 3 interior doors and fix a few electrical problems. The doors were done in about 1/2 a day and the electrical work took about an hour. Overall, they did good work and we very professional. The handyman put down sheets and cleaned everything when he was done. I would recommended them to others.

They repaired it successfully. It’s great. We have used them before. They remodeled our kitchen. Their workmanship is exceptional. The service is wonderful. They are here when they say they are going to be. They clean up the area. We have never had any problems with the company and any concerns we have they address immediately.

I had contacted several other contractors and all other contractors have already provided proposals and have been back out to the house twice for measurements. Moss Design however, has been a no show! I find them very unprofessional and would not recommend anyone to them based on my experience. They lost a big project,.

This was a very positive experience. John arrived exactly on time. He used his time very efficiently and did a superb job of the tasks that we hired him to do. Additionally, he cleaned up after himself each step of the way. He was careful to remove his shoes upon entering the house. He was professional in demeanor and very pleasant.

Moss handled everything on our list in a timely and professional manner. Will will be hiring them again as future needs arise.

Michael, Moss Home Services Technician, arrived on time and surveyed the work areas. He developed an innovative and creative solution to vent the bathroom ceiling fan exhaust to the outside by having the air vent under the kitchen window completely out of view. Michael?s work ethic and professionalism was exemplary in every respect. I would specifically request him again when using Moss Home Services. The work took two days to complete. He cleaned up the work areas and took all the trash away. I was completely satisfied with all aspects of his work and the finished project. This is the second time I have used Moss Home Services and certainly recommend them for many kinds of projects. They are professional in their work, good customer service and administrative support, keep the customer informed, technicians show up within time frames, clean up, estimates are developed at a fair price.

Our expectations were very high at the outset of the project. Now that we are in the final stages, we can unequivocally say we could not have selected a better contractor and that Moss exceeded our lofty expectations. The results are beyond exceptional. The Moss team did everything possible to make our experience a positive one. The quality of the workmanship is superlative, and changes and refinements were always accommodated. Led by Project Manager, Bryon Maruca, and Customer Care Manager, Jodi Jameson, the Moss team brought immense talent and quality to everything they did from day one and a sense of pride in doing the job right and working with us to create our vision. It was a complete privilege for us to work with everyone on the Moss team. They were not there to check off boxes and say something was completed. They were there to do a high-quality job and to meet our needs ? something you all too often do not see today. Also, subcontractors we spoke with during the project provided unsolicited praise for the integrity of Moss Building and Design and their dedication to quality. Four stars are not enough to describe our experience. We will forever be indebted to the Moss team, and we plan to work with them on future projects.

Everyone we dealt with at Moss, from the co-owner who did the initial estimate to the project manager, the carpenter, the electrician and the roofers were excellent - very responsive, professional, and flexible when we requested additional work. The employees clearly wanted to exceed our expectations, and treated the job as if they were working on their own property. I highly recommend them. The various workers showed up at the day and time they were supposed to and got the work done within the estimated timeframes. The only delay in completing the job was due to changes at our end, such as special-ordering carriage doors from a separate company, and adding lights that required Moss to add and schedule an electrician for the installation.

We met with the salesman on 6/29/13 and reviewed our project ideas; remodeling two bathrooms into one, adding a new bathroom, enclosing a screened in porch and minor renovation of several areas of our older home. Over the next 30 days, we have gotten three dates, starting with 6/14, for receiving an estimate and designs for our project. As each date passed, my follow-up emails were responded to timely with another delivery date. We have been patient and understand that contractors are often quite busy, but the three other contractors we have contacted were able to at least deliver an estimate in a reasonable amount of time (1 or 2 weeks). We finally received a detailed quote on 8/1, but no drawings were ever received as stated in the accompanying message. A followup email requesting clarification on the project design has not generated a response. Due to repeated poor response, we have decided to use another contractor.

They were great, they did what I wanted. I had them do some extra work that ended up costing me $350.
